Breitbart: EXCLUSIVE: 13K Chinese Migrants Apprehended on U.S.-Mexico Border Since October
The number of Chinese migrants apprehended at the US-Mexico border has increased by over 1,000% compared to previous years. Approximately 13,000 migrants from the People's Republic of China have been apprehended by border patrol agents in the first few months of the year. Most of the migrants are single adults and are being released to pursue asylum claims in the US. The reason for the increase is unclear, but speculation includes dissatisfaction with Xi Jinping’s government's policies, negative economic effects of China's strict COVID-19 policies, and the opening of China's ports after COVID-19 lockdowns. Some believe that the migrant surge reflects a deliberate policy choice by the regime, with China recognizing perceived weakness and capitalizing on it.

The Federalist Papers: Insanity: California Bill Likely to Become Law Redefines Infertility, Would Extend Treatment to Men
California lawmakers are proposing a bill that would redefine infertility to include men and extend insurance coverage for fertility treatments to them as well. The legislation has been criticized for disregarding the basic principles of biology and the natural order, as well as eroding the traditional understanding of family and perpetuating a distorted view of parenthood . Concerns have been raised about the potential consequences of the bill, including safety concerns regarding assisted reproductive technologies and surrogacy, as well as the focus on the rights and desires of adults rather than the best interests of the child. The proposed legislation epitomizes the extreme liberal agenda that has consumed California and serves as a reminder of the need to defend traditional values and push back against the encroachment of radicalism in society .
Breitbart: Andy McCarthy: There Is a 'Double Standard' Between Trump, Hillary But Hillary Should Have Been Prosecuted
Former Assistant U.S. Attorney and author Andrew McCarthy believes there is a double standard between how former President Donald Trump and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton have been treated, but argues that Hillary Clinton should have had the book thrown at her. McCarthy points out that there is a two-tiered justice system, where the quality of justice that people receive is dependent on their partisan affiliation or connection to the ruling class. McCarthy thinks the problem is not that someone is being prosecuted for crimes but that all these people who also committed crimes did not get prosecuted.
Breitbart: Andy McCarthy: If Half of 'Devastating' Trump Indictment Is True, 'He's Toast' and I Think They Can Prove More than Half
Former President Trump's indictment is "a devastating document" and if prosecutors can prove even half of it, he's "toast," said former Assistant U.S. Attorney Andrew McCarthy. McCarthy, who is also an author and Fox News contributor, believes more than half the document can be proven due to recorded conversations and testimony from Trump's lawyers. McCarthy also said the former president has a strong defense in the Hillary Clinton precedent but selective prosecution defenses are only effective in convincing prosecutors not to charge, not in helping a defendant once they've been charged.
The Blaze: 'Unconstitutional': Lawsuit challenges Colorado laws targeting pro-life speech near abortion clinics
Lawsuit filed against Colorado's governor and officials over free speech restrictions around abortion clinics. The law prohibits approaching a person within a 100-foot radius of clinic entryways to advocate for pro-life causes. The lawsuit claims the laws were adopted to target pro-life speech and are unconstitutional.
The Economist: Britain leads the world in online gambling
Britain is the world's biggest regulated online gambling market, but vulnerable punters are poorly protected. Current law drafted two decades ago for a largely bricks-and-mortar world has failed to keep up with the rapid changes in online betting. The government has proposed regulating more background checks on potentially vulnerable punters, stake limits for online slots, and a levy to fund research. Addiction to gambling is a particularly tough challenge with higher rates of addiction among online gamblers than those off. The white paper fails to address new forms of gambling, particularly "loot boxes", which can be psychologically akin to gambling, according to a study by the universities of Plymouth and Wolverhampton.
Former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson is quitting as an MP just before the release of a parliamentary report that could tarnish his reputation and that of the Conservative Party as a whole. He has threatened to take on anyone who tries to undermine Brexit, and may be looking to return to front-line politics soon. The government's COVID-19 inquiry into the pandemic will have to face the difficulties of establishing the facts in a fast-changing situation, consoling the bereaved, and drawing lessons on how to do better next time. Britain has suffered the highest death toll in Europe, and the inquiry will have to find out why. Meanwhile, gonorrhea is becoming a major threat to public health in the UK, with London being its capital in terms of the number of cases. The stigma of STDs in the country is still a barrier in tackling the spread of infections.

The Epoch Times: It’s Prime Time for Small-Company Stocks
Small-company stocks often perform well early in an economic cycle, and currently, they’re cheaper than they’ve been in decades, with a brighter earnings outlook than the rest of the market. Investing in high-quality firms within the small-cap sector is a good strategy for a potentially rocky economic period. Experts suggest considering the Avantis U.S. Small Cap Value ETF, the Dimensional U.S. Small Cap Value ETF, the iShares Core S&P Small-Cap ETF and the Mesirow Small Company fund.

PJ Media: Britain's NHS Will Severely Limit Puberty Blockers for Minors to Research Only
Great Britain's National Health Service will stop giving puberty blockers to young people except for children enrolled in clinical trials. The Society for Evidence-based Gender Medicine (SEGM) points out that a lack of research into gender dysphoria presenting in young people is the primary reason for the ban. It’s an extraordinary reversal and a signal that the NHS may take an even more cautious approach to youth with "late-onset gender dysphoria."
After conducting evidence reviews, Finland has begun limiting who can access gender-related treatments and Sweden has restricted the use of puberty blockers and hormones to clinical trials. In the United States, more than 20 Republican-led states have banned the use of puberty-blocking drugs and hormones. Doctors are allowing ideology to determine treatment for sick children, which is largely untested and despite being sold as “reversible." The politics of gender dysphoria as practiced by many advocates in the United States is damaging young people’s bodies and minds.

Russian nationals Alexey Bilyuchenko and Aleksandr Verner have been charged with money-laundering conspiracy by the US Department of Justice for their involvement with the hack of cryptocurrency exchange Mt. Gox and illegitimate cryptocurrency exchange BTC-e. The two men allegedly conspired to launder around 647,000 bitcoins stolen in the Mt. Gox hack through BTC-e. Fox News: Bryson DeChambeau's call for forgiveness sparks outrage from 9/11 families: 'We will never forget'
9/11 Families United Chairperson Terry Strada spoke out against LIV Golf's Bryson DeChambeau after he suggested in an interview that those impacted by the terrorist attacks should find a pathway towards "forgiveness." Strada fired back, accusing DeChambeau of being unaware of the Saudi's involvement in the 9/11 attacks and falling in line with what his wealthy paymasters from the Kingdom have commanded him to do, which is to spew their talking points. She added that the more important question DeChambeau overlooks is how are victims supposed to forgive an autocratic government that refuses to take responsibility.
The PGA Tour recently announced that it would be merging the PIF's golf-related businesses, which include LIV Golf, with that of the PGA Tour and the DP World Tour. The merger will form a new, collectively owned, for-profit entity, and will also include a "capital investment" from the PIF. Strada accused Commissioner Jay Monahan of using victims' stories "to malign LIV Golf," and giving them a bigger platform for their sportswashing entity.
