The Epoch Times: Biden Labor Secretary Pressed by Congress Over Trafficking of Underage Illegal Migrants
Acting Labor Department Secretary Julie Su faced criticism from Rep. Jim Banks (R-Ind.) during a House committee hearing on child migrant labor over the trafficking of unaccompanied alien children (UACs) to be used as illegal labor. Since Joe Biden took office, Health and Human Services officials reported having lost contact with most of the 85,000 UACs, with many being brutally exploited. Su claimed that her department was doing its best to prevent the thousands of illegal migrant children from being exploited under unsafe positions, which Banks criticized, blaming the Biden administration’s failure to seal the border.
According to whistleblower Tara Lee Rodas, children are being trafficked through a sophisticated network that begins with being recruited in their home country and smuggled to the U.S. border, with ORR delivering them to sponsors—some of which are criminals and traffickers. Rodas told Congress in April that "some sponsors view children as commodities and assets to be used for earning income; this is why we are witnessing an explosion of labor trafficking." Critics accuse top Biden officials, such as HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra, DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, and former Domestic Policy Advisor Susan Rice, of ignoring the fate of children trafficked into the country.

Forbes: Los Angeles Lakers Shouldn’t Bank Their Title Hopes Solely On Chris Paul
The Los Angeles Lakers may sign point guard Chris Paul to help an aging LeBron James and injury-prone Anthony Davis win one last title. Paul, who will be waived by the Phoenix Suns, is a worthy addition to the Lakers' line-up, but the team needs to protect themselves by signing another affordable veteran in case Paul gets injured. While a sign-and-trade option for Kyrie Irving has been mentioned, the Lakers don't have the necessary cap space to afford the young point guard, making Paul their most realistic option. However, Paul is injury-prone and already 38, making it risky for the Lakers to place all their hopes on him.

The Federalist: The Drama At CNN Shows The Impossibility Of Fixing The Media
CNN's recent downfall is emblematic of the fact that nearly all of America's major news organizations are beyond repair. In 2013, Jeff Zucker became head of CNN and pushed the vaunted cable news brand in a more "infotainment" direction. By the time Donald Trump was running for president in 2016, Zucker's CNN was all in on broadcasting his former employee's campaign rallies, which managed to get a notable ratings spike for a cable news network. Following CNN's continued journalistic malfeasance over the past several years, the recent drama at CNN is just another reminder that America's news organizations are completely and utterly beyond repair.
