Breitbart: Exclusive -- Kevin McCarthy After Trump Indictment: GOP Has 'Not Been Sitting Back'
Exclusive -- Kevin McCarthy After Trump Indictment: GOP Has 'Not Been Sitting Back'
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) criticized the Biden administration for indicting the leading Republican candidate for president, stating that it is "unconscionable" and a "dark, dark day." McCarthy emphasized the irony of the situation, pointing out that Biden and Clinton have not been held accountable for their actions, and called for the blinders to be put back on Lady Justice. He also stated that Republicans have been actively gathering evidence and will apply the law fairly, warning that no one will get off scot-free.

Exclusive: MTG 'Dumbfounded' GOP Won't Call for Biden's Impeachment
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) is calling for the impeachment of President Joe Biden following the pay-to-play allegation that he accepted $5 million after threatening to withhold aid to Ukraine until a Burisma Holdings prosecutor was fired. Greene expressed bewilderment about the lack of interest in impeachment proceedings among her Republican House colleagues and urged them to have the courage to impeach Biden. House Oversight Committee Republicans received two pieces of evidence from an FBI informant file on Thursday, indicating President Biden received $5 million from Burisma, and the committee issued two new subpoenas on Friday to compel information about the Bidens' Ukrainian transactions.

Kari Lake Urges Georgia GOP: Fight for Secure Elections–and for Trump, Despite Federal Indictment
Kari Lake, a Republican challenging her 2022 Arizona gubernatorial loss, spoke at the Georgia GOP Convention Victory Dinner, advocating for election integrity and supporting former President Donald Trump. Lake announced that election integrity is a top priority in both Georgia and Arizona and that the Republican Party must continue to fight for fair elections. She criticized the false narrative of division within the party and drew cheers and applause as she defended Trump's refusal to concede defeat and alleged election fraud. Despite the 37-count indictment against Trump, Lake maintains a positive view of the former president and predicts that he will run for president in 2024.

Fox News: Trump to make first public speech since federal indictment over classified docs
Trump to make first public speech since federal indictment over classified docs
Former President Donald Trump will make his first public appearance since his recent federal indictment on 37 counts of federal crimes relating to classified documents, when he speaks at the state Republican conventions in Georgia and North Carolina. The charges against Trump include willful retention of national defense information, conspiracy to obstruct justice, and false statements. The indictment accuses him of failing to comply with demands to return classified documents to authorities, including plans for a retaliatory attack on an unnamed foreign power. It also reveals that he stored documents in unsuitable locations, such as bathrooms, and bragged about them to visitors – actions that could put national security at risk.

Trump dismissed the indictment as "election interference" and a witch hunt, telling Fox News that "they are trying to deflect all of their dishonesty by bringing this ridiculous boxes hoax case". Other Republicans on the campaign trail have largely not attacked Trump over the indictment, instead sharing the sentiment that the charges are politically motivated. The indictment adds additional legal turmoil to Trump’s bid for re-election, coming after he was indicted in New York in an alleged hush money scheme earlier this year, and he will make his first federal court appearance on Tuesday.

The Epoch Times: After Trump Indictment GOP Must Build a ‘Resistance’
After Trump Indictment GOP Must Build a ‘Resistance’
The Democrats have borrowed the strategy of Stalin’s famous NKVD henchman Lavrentiy Beria to indict Donald Trump. Republicans are outraged but have done little besides mouthing off to the press. It’s time for the stupid party to stop being so dumb and throw off the shackles of their name.

To save the republic, we must resist, starting with non-compliance on as many fronts as possible. Republican candidates should all unite behind Donald Trump until this is solved and the GOP in Congress should go on what amounts to a strike. We should also demonstrate on a mass, non-violent level and stop paying our taxes. Tax rebellion is where the noble experiment of this republic began and should be used to keep it alive.

YouTube removes Jordan Peterson video, accuses him of ‘hate speech’ and ‘inciting violence’ – [FULL VIDEO HERE]
Leftist Big Tech, YouTube, has accused Jordan Peterson of hate speech and inciting violence, resulting in the removal of his podcast video “Trans: When Ideology Meets Reality”. Peterson is tired of being accused by narcissistic authoritarians who claim moral motivations when acting for narrowly self-serving purposes. As a substitute for YouTube, Elon Musk offered Twitter, which believes in free speech as long as it does not break the law. This societal trend could end badly and is a violation of the ancient dictum “do not use the Lord's name in vain.”

The Epoch Times: New Indictment Against Trump Is Political Payback, Legal Experts Say
New Indictment Against Trump Is Political Payback, Legal Experts Say
Former US President Donald Trump has been indicted by a federal grand jury for illegally retaining national security documents after leaving the White House in January 2021. The indictment — which contains 37 felony counts related to his handling of government records at his residence in Florida — is politically motivated, according to legal experts. Trump has been impeached twice before, in December 2019 and January 2021. Both times he was acquitted by the US Senate. Trump said the current charges against him are "election interference” designed to stop him running for the presidency in 2024.

Trump stands accused of violating the federal Espionage Act and other federal statutes for allegedly conspiring to obstruct justice, make false statements, and conceal documents. He allegedly stored classified documents in unauthorised locations in his home, including in his bedroom, a bathroom, and a ballroom, and shared some of the materials with other individuals who lacked security clearance. The 49-page indictment was unsealed by the US Department of Justice on 9 June. Longtime Trump aide Waltine Nauta, who worked in the Trump White House as a former sailor in the US Navy, is also accused of crimes in the same indictment. According to legal experts, the indictment will undermine public faith in the institutions that hold the republic together.

Fox News: RFK Jr. says it's 'hypocritical' to blame Canada for wildfires, 'foolish' to attribute problem to single cause
RFK Jr. says it's 'hypocritical' to blame Canada for wildfires, 'foolish' to attribute problem to single cause
Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. says blaming Canada for the wildfire smoke covering parts of the East Coast is hypocritical, arguing that the same problem afflicts US forests. He believes attributing wildfires to a single cause would be foolish, given that decades of fire suppression, ecological disruption due to pesticides, changing climate and soil loss may contribute to the issue. Smoke from ongoing wildfires in Canada has travelled as far as South Carolina, causing air quality in New York City and Washington, D.C., to drop to record lows. Many environmental activists have blamed climate change for the problem, while Republicans say the fires are the result of poor forest management.

Earlier this week, Rep. Ryan Zinke, R-Mont., lambasted politicians who are "complaining" about the Canadian wildfire smoke on Capitol Hill but "won't allow" forest management in Western states. He said "whether you're a climate change activist or denier, it doesn't relieve you of the responsibility to manage our forests." Meanwhile, President Biden and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., believe food systems, energy grids and healthcare must be adapted to prepare for climate change. Smoke from Canada's wildfires has engulfed the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions of the US, raising concerns over the harms of persistent poor air quality.

Former ByteDance Executive Says Chinese Communist Party Tracked Hong Kong Protesters via Data
Former ByteDance employee Yintao Yu, who worked as head of engineering in the US in 2018, has claimed there was a "superuser" credential held by Chinese Communist Party members stationed at the company that allowed them to view data including those of US users. In a wrongful dismissal suit filed in San Francisco Superior Court, Yu said he saw the credential used to monitor Hong Kong protesters and civil rights activists, and that his termination was linked to his objections. ByteDance, which owns video app TikTok, has called the claims "baseless". US lawmakers have expressed concerns about the data held by TikTok and its links to ByteDance potentially allowing foreign control over it.

Forbes: China’s “Fits And Starts” Economic Recovery Needs Private Sector Boost – Matthews Asia’s Andy Rothman
China’s “Fits And Starts” Economic Recovery Needs Private Sector Boost – Matthews Asia’s Andy Rothman
China's internet success has been led by private sector companies like Alibaba, instead of state-owned enterprises. However, weak investment by private companies remains a challenge for growth, despite the sustainable improvements in income and consumer space. Although the economic growth of China took a hit due to Covid-19, the country is now on the path to recovery. Despite the rising cases of Covid-19, people are not changing their behavior and are spending more, giving a boost to the economy. The tension between US and China is likely to remain high, but a crisis is unlikely to occur. Rothman believes that more government assurance and support for China's private sector is needed.

US Military's Bronze Star Has Spurred Debate, and About DeSantis's 'Meritorious Service'
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, a potential 2024 Republican presidential candidate, emphasizes his decision to join the Navy in 2004 and how it influenced his life during his speeches on the campaign trail. He talks about his experiences working as a JAG prosecutor at Naval Station Mayport, being dispatched to Guantanamo Bay, and serving as a legal advisor to SEAL Team One in Iraq, earning a Bronze Star for "meritorious service in a combat zone." Some veterans have questioned how DeSantis earned the medal without being in direct combat, but former SEAL commander and Stolen Valor member Larry Bailey says he has heard nothing about DeSantis's medal being under scrutiny, and that it is an award for meritorious service in a combat zone.

New data shows that Tesla’s Autopilot system has been involved in 736 crashes since 2019, including 17 fatalities, raising concerns about its safety. While Elon Musk claims the system is safe and necessary, former NHTSA senior safety advisor Missy Cummings believes that the expanded rollout of Full Self-Driving may be a contributing factor to the increase in accidents. Tesla insists the driver must still monitor the road and intervene when necessary, but Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg believes the name “Autopilot” is misleading and should be changed.
