Red State: Andrew McCarthy Goes Bottom Line on 'Devastating' Indictment, Thinks Trump Might Be 'Toast'
Andrew McCarthy Goes Bottom Line on 'Devastating' Indictment, Thinks Trump Might Be 'Toast'
Legal experts are weighing in on the federal indictment of Donald Trump and the consensus is that he could be in big trouble. The case will hinge on whether the government can prove an obstruction of justice charge against the former president, regardless of intent. Respected legal expert Andrew McCarthy said on a recent Fox News broadcast that if half of the indictment is true, "he's toast," and he thinks the government can prove more than half of it. The indictment includes recorded conversations and testimony from Trump's lawyers, making it difficult for him to mount a defense.

The Right Scoop: MARK LEVIN: Here’s the damnable truth…
MARK LEVIN: Here’s the damnable truth…
Mark Levin claims that if every former president and numerous cabinet members were investigated for their handling and retention of classified information, many would end up in a small penal colony, including both Clintons, Biden, and Pence. He also states that the Biden regime is seeking to imprison Trump for more than 100 years, making this the first indictment of an ex-president and a candidate for president.

Fox News: RFJ Jr. says it's 'hypocritical' to blame Canada for wildfires, 'foolish' to attribute problem to single cause
RFJ Jr. says it's 'hypocritical' to blame Canada for wildfires, 'foolish' to attribute problem to single cause
Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. says blaming Canada for the wildfire smoke covering parts of the East Coast is hypocritical, arguing that the same problem afflicts US forests. He believes attributing wildfires to a single cause would be foolish, given that decades of fire suppression, ecological disruption due to pesticides, changing climate and soil loss may contribute to the issue. Smoke from ongoing wildfires in Canada has travelled as far as South Carolina, causing air quality in New York City and Washington, D.C., to drop to record lows. Many environmental activists have blamed climate change for the problem, while Republicans say the fires are the result of poor forest management.

Earlier this week, Rep. Ryan Zinke, R-Mont., lambasted politicians who are "complaining" about the Canadian wildfire smoke on Capitol Hill but "won't allow" forest management in Western states. He said "whether you're a climate change activist or denier, it doesn't relieve you of the responsibility to manage our forests." Meanwhile, President Biden and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., believe food systems, energy grids and healthcare must be adapted to prepare for climate change. Smoke from Canada's wildfires has engulfed the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions of the US, raising concerns over the harms of persistent poor air quality.

Gavin Newsom's Incredibly Odd Interview With Sean Hannity Includes Some Very Interesting Moments
California Governor Gavin Newsom appeared on Sean Hannity's show on Fox News, causing speculation about his political motives. In a preview clip, Newsom praised his relationship with Donald Trump, which some believe is a ploy to tarnish Trump's reputation by connecting him with a far-left authoritarian like Newsom. Newsom also dodged questions about a possible 2024 presidential run, fueling speculation that he may enter the race if Biden falters. Many Democrats would prefer Newsom as a candidate but are currently unable to push Biden and Harris aside.

National Review: Trump’s Indictment Is Worse Than You Think It Is
Trump’s Indictment Is Worse Than You Think It Is
Former President Donald Trump has been federally indicted on charges of willful retention of classified information and obstruction of justice. The indictment alleges that Trump took boxes of classified information from the White House to Mar-a-Lago, where he stored them in recklessly insecure locations and refused to return them. The charges are not merely technical offenses but an active threat to national security, fueled by Trump's demented behavior and sense of self-entitlement.

The indictment also includes evidence that Trump attempted to conceal possession of the information and later moved the boxes to his home on the property to avoid detection. The recklessness and arrogance of Trump's lawbreaking in this case are astounding, even more so than what he did during the run-up to January 6. The indictment turns the Hillary Clinton question right back around on Trump, who led chants of "Lock her up!" in 2016 but instead praised her legal team's skill at concealing crimes. Trump's lawbreaking poses an ongoing national-security crisis, and the indictment should be taken seriously.

Gataway Couple: It's Official: The RV Bubble Has Burst
It's Official: The RV Bubble Has Burst
The RV bubble, caused by increased demand for recreational vehicles during the pandemic, has officially burst. Wholesale RV shipments have massively declined, impacting manufacturers and dealers. While those who purchased during the height of the market may be impacted by the cooling demand and decreased prices, those who waited can take advantage of incentives and lower prices. The bubble was caused by a perfect storm of circumstances, including travel restrictions, supply shortages, and lack of workers. The bursting of the bubble was caused by an oversaturated market, increased interest rates, and extreme price increases. Those looking to buy an RV should hold off and wait for dealerships to offer discounts and incentives.

The Imaginative Conservative: Technology and Silence
Technology and Silence
A conference at Wyoming Catholic College discussed the future of technology, exploring whether our fascination is leading to the building of a modern-day Tower of Babel or even the end of the human race. Despite the acknowledged necessity of developing technology, notes from the conference question what the end aim of the pursuit of knowledge and control actually is and whether our ever-increasing striving for knowledge is for the greater good. The biggest concern voiced at the conference was whether man is indeed blinded by his own construction and can no longer see a more primal truth in nature or God, likening technology as a veil.

4-Year-Old Perfectly Dismantles Woke Gender Ideology in Past Clip of 'Little Big Shots'
A 4-year-old girl named Brielle explained the biological differences between men and women's anatomy on NBC's "Little Big Shots." Her explanation demonstrated a fundamental truth that has been clouded by the rhetoric of society. Schools should only provide students with basic biological information about sex and focus on academic education. Instead, schools are spending money on "pride" celebrations featuring inappropriate content and teaching children about dangerous procedures. Schools should prioritize education and prepare students for life and the workforce.

'Crashed Las Vegas UFO' witness 'terrified' by 8-foot creatures in his backyard: '100% not human'
A family in Las Vegas reported a potential UFO crashing in their backyard on April 30/May 1, with a witness claiming to have seen a tall, skinny alien creature with greenish color hiding behind a forklift. He called 911 and reported that large creatures were in his backyard, insisting that they were "not human." The incident was taken seriously by Metro police employees, who concluded that the witnesses were credible.

At least 21 people across eastern California, Arizona, Nevada, and Utah reported seeing a glowing green light at around the same time the incident occurred, while a different officer's bodycam captured a green light streak across the sky from the top-right corner that appeared to crash in the distance. However, authorities have not been able to identify the object that crashed into the family's backyard.
