The small group of corporate behemoths dominating America's food industry has a stake in who controls American farmland. The legislation to ban Chinese nationals and companies from buying real estate in the US does not have any Democrat co-sponsors.

The investigation went cold until it was reopened by the San Diego County District Attorney's Office in 2015 and forensic evidence was resubmitted. Ayala was arrested in Mexico in 2018 and extradited to San Diego County.

Hale killed three nine-year-old students and three adults after walking into the school and opening fire in March. State Sen. The Legal Director for the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County claims that Gardenhire has a statutory right to view the records and can do so by visiting the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, but Gardenhire says that to do that, he would have to sign away his rights to use the information in public policy.
