The Federalist Papers: AOC Has Meltdown After Parody Account Gains Massive Amounts of Followers on Twitter
AOC Has Meltdown After Parody Account Gains Massive Amounts of Followers on Twitter
Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is warning her Twitter followers about a satirical account that is impersonating her, and is gaining significant reach, despite clearly identifying itself as a parody. In a tweet, Ocasio-Cortez acknowledged the account and indicated that she and her team were "assessing how to move forward." The parody account pokes fun at the congresswoman's lack of relevant knowledge and perceived interest in being a "woke celebrity." Some are concerned that Ocasio-Cortez's response shows a lack of appreciation for humor, and raises questions about censorship.

Van Der Beek also criticized Kamala Harris, pointing out her declining approval ratings. He argued that a debate is necessary to determine the best candidate for the presidency and preserve democracy.

Red State: Moore to the Point - Sunny but Dim
Moore to the Point - Sunny but Dim
The View host, Sunny Hostin, made racist and insulting comments that white women who vote Republican are just following what their husbands want in order to protect the patriarchy. She then accuses white female Republicans of having a party that takes away their health right to decide for themselves. It is unclear whether Republican women are voting to their benefit or detriment, or if women of color who vote Republican don't exist in Hostin's world.

Trump Unleashes on Kayleigh McEnany Over Poll Numbers, Rep. Chip Roy Piles On
Former President Trump criticized his former White House Press Secretary, Kayleigh McEnany, as "Milktoast" for giving out incorrect poll numbers on Fox News about his lead in the Iowa polls over Governor Ron DeSantis. McEnany is now a contributor at FoxNews and co-hosts the show Outnumbered. Later, Rep. Chip Roy used the term "milquetoast" to describe the debt ceiling deal in Congress during an appearance on Fox. The feud between Trump and McEnany has been ongoing since February when she called DeSantis "the hottest Governor in Republican politics" during a FoxNews broadcast.

Liberty Nation: The Tale of Sai Varshith Kandula – Mental Illness or False Flag?
The Tale of Sai Varshith Kandula – Mental Illness or False Flag?
A bizarre story of an Indian immigrant, Sai Varshith Kandula, who allegedly attempted a one-man coup d’etat near the White House, has raised questions about his political motives and mental state. Kandula was charged with “depredation of property of the United States in excess of $1,000” after legal developments downgraded the more serious charges he was originally facing, including “threatening to kill, kidnap or inflict harm on a president” and “assault with a dangerous weapon.” His possession of a Nazi flag has fueled speculation about his political affiliations, with some alleging that he planned the stunt himself or was put up to it as a political hoax to smear conservatives.

National Review: The Rank Bigotry of ‘Karen’-Shaming
The Rank Bigotry of ‘Karen’-Shaming
A New York City nurse/physician's assistant, Sarah Comrie, was dubbed "Citi Bike Karen" after an untrue claim was made that she tried to take a rental bike from a young black man. Comrie was put on leave from her job and pilloried in the press until it was revealed that she had actually purchased the bike in question. Critics accused Comrie of behaving like a "Karen" and weaponizing her "white woman tears," but this reaction reflects sexist and racist ideas that should not be tolerated.

National Review: The Bud Light Meltdown Is Good for America
The Bud Light Meltdown Is Good for America
Anheuser-Busch's Dylan Mulvaney promotion backfired, causing their image, sales, and market capitalization to suffer. This sparked a new era of conservative-consumer power. Social media has made it easier to spread the word about controversies, but the success of boycotts is not necessarily replicable. Bud Light's image was of an all-American product, causing their promotion with Mulvaney to be hilariously off-brand. Bud Light lost 17% of its sales, while Coors Light and Miller Lite each grew 17%. The best outcome would be if corporations resolve to stick to the 50-yard line of American national life.

South Korea Salvaging Suspected Wreckage of North Korea’s Crashed Spy Satellite
South Korea recovered an object presumed to be the wreckage of a North Korean military spy satellite after the recently developed Chollima-1 rocket carrying it crashed in the West Sea of Korea shortly after take-off due to rocket malfunction. The North's National Aerospace Development Administration stated that the "low reliability and stability of the new-type engine system" and the "unstable specifications of the fuel" were to blame. Japan detected the launch, which it called “a grave threat” to regional security, but it was confirmed that the projectile would not affect Japan. South Korea’s military will investigate the failed launch, while the North will carry out a second.

American Thinker: CNN: apologists for terror
CNN: apologists for terror
CNN's Christiane Amanpour faced backlash for her segment on a mother and her two daughters murdered in Northern Samaria by Palestinian terrorists. She referred to the event as a 'shootout' when it was a cold-blooded murder of unarmed individuals en route to a holiday. Rabbi Leo Dee, husband and father of the victims, criticized her reportage, calling it "new age of terror journalism." He plans to hold CNN accountable as he believes the network perpetuates the conflict in the Middle East through false reporting. He is in consultation with legal experts and aims to address his concerns to David Zaslav, CEO of CNN.

Amanpour issued an apology to Dee after he publically denounced CNN's reportage of the incident, however, continues to receive criticism for her anti-Israel stance. Rabbi Dee plans to hold the network accountable for obfuscating the truth and repackaging facts. Dee claims that CNN viewers were not provided with the most essential factual details surrounding the murders. The rabbi's intention is to spotlight the network's power in molding the thinking of millions of viewers on the Israel-Palestinian conflict. Amanpour has long enjoyed espousing falsehoods about Israel and not being held accountable for her reckless reporting; Dee's condemnation of the network aims to change this.

Republicans Call for Action as China Turns US into ‘Hunting Ground’ for Dissidents
Two Chinese agents were indicted in California for attempting to bribe an undercover officer posing as an IRS agent to revoke the tax-exempt status of an entity run by Falun Gong practitioners. The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is undermining the US's sovereignty and silencing all dissent even on American soil, according to Rep. Dan Newhouse. The US State Department has announced sanctions against Yu Hui, a former director of a regional 610 Office, for his involvement in gross violations of human rights. The Chinese regime will stop at nothing to harass and intimidate Uyghurs, Tibetans, Falun Gong practitioners, Christians, and Hong Kongers living in exile, even on the US soil, according to Sen. Marco Rubio. Congress must confront China's repression head-on by sanctioning the United Front Work Department and kicking out any Chinese so-called diplomats involved in these malign practices, according to Rep. Jim Banks.

Nicolas Maduro, the dictator of communist Venezuela, blocked a blogger on Twitter after he criticized Maduro's regime and called him a bad leader. Maduro did not appreciate the criticism and blocked the blogger on Twitter.

National Review: The Minimum Wage Does Not Reduce Poverty
The Minimum Wage Does Not Reduce Poverty
A recent National Bureau of Economic Research working paper shows that raising the minimum wage is not an effective way to reduce poverty. The study found that “a 10 percent increase in the minimum wage is associated with a (statistically insignificant) 0.17 percent increase in the probability of longer-run poverty among all persons.” Additionally, the minimum wage reduces employment, particularly for the least skilled and most disadvantaged workers, and reduces total economic output. Despite some studies claiming the opposite, empirical evidence from the US and Canada suggests that minimum wage increases have no effect on poverty and may even exacerbate it.

American Thinker: No, a 'Fair Tax' is not a good idea
No, a 'Fair Tax' is not a good idea
The Fair Tax Act proposes a 30 percent national sales tax, which would apply to nearly everything Americans buy, including health care and groceries. Proponents of the bill call it a "23 percent tax," but in reality, it's a 30 percent tax on the cost of goods and services. The bill includes a "prebate" for low-income families, but there are concerns about how it would be calculated and administered. There's also a worry that loopholes and exemptions would be created, leading to higher tax rates for everyone.

Although well-known in the UK with an annual production capacity of up to three million liters of malt, Loch Lomond is considered a "well-guarded secret" in the US. The distillery boasts pot/column hybrids unique to the site called Lomond Stills, which enables distillers to create various malt and grain whisky styles before maturation. Loch Lomond's whiskies are also reasonably priced in the US, with the Classic retailing for under $25 and the 18-Year-Old for under $80.

Fox News: What Harrison Ford, Sylvester Stallone's enduring popularity tell us about men in 2023
What Harrison Ford, Sylvester Stallone's enduring popularity tell us about men in 2023
Aging Hollywood stars like Stallone, Schwarzenegger, and Ford continue to dominate the big screen, playing the part of heroes and representing an American culture that is not afraid of violence. While the press focuses on so-called "toxic masculinity," American moviegoers still love their tough guy heroes, cheering on the likes of Rocky, Indiana Jones, and John McClane. Despite Hollywood's increasing wokeness, the aged action stars continue to deliver in movies like "The Expendables" and "Creed," proving that America is still looking for a hero.

Younger action heroes like Tom Cruise, Keanu Reeves, and Vin Diesel are also making a splash, with Cruise's "Top Gun: Maverick" grossing over a quarter billion in the box office. The media may be telling us that the time of heroes is over, but American moviegoers remain devoted to their larger-than-life heroes, rejecting the woke anti-heroes of the pay-cable era. As long as Hollywood continues to churn out movies featuring bad guys getting their just desserts at the hands of aging or young heroes, audiences will continue to listen to their hearts and cheer them on.

National Review: How Congress Can Fix Biden’s Failed U.N. Strategy
How Congress Can Fix Biden’s Failed U.N. Strategy
The World Health Organization's annual assembly in Geneva did not include Taiwan due to pressure from China, despite calls from the US and its allies. Russia and Syria were welcomed, while Israel was castigated. This comes as the Biden administration continues its policy of engagement and diplomacy rather than using leverage to achieve reforms, resulting in little progress in changing the behavior of UN agencies and membership criteria. Congress could condition US funding to these organizations until changes are made, including supporting Taiwan's membership status, banning funding to groups that promote China's Belt and Road Initiative, and withholding funds until the UN Human Rights Council is reformed or UNRWA's mandate is overhauled.

A video compilation shows the atavistic, tribalistic, and scapegoating passions of those who demonized the unvaccinated, enveloped in lies and cheap virtue signaling. The unvaccinated will bear it and try to obey St. Paul's injunction to suffer fools gladly.

Judge removes Washington Gov Jay Inslee, athletic director from ex-Washington State football coach's lawsuit
Former Washington State football coach Nick Rolovich is not allowed to sue the state's governor or athletic director over his firing following his failure to adhere to a vaccine mandate for state and educational employees. Rolovich and four assistant coaches lost their jobs after refusing the COVID-19 vaccine whose deadline was set by Gov. Jay Inslee. Rolovich had applied for a religious exemption, which was ultimately denied, but a federal judge ruled that the coach did not make his religious beliefs known until he was going to be let go. The judge said that vaccine mandates are permissible employment actions.

Multiple journalists including Alex Azzi, shared Armour's piece on social media, with some defending the equality of transgender women in sports.

Bosch’s Race To Hydrogen: A Complete Ecosystem Of Products
Bosch has established itself as a supplier for fuel cell trucks by acquiring the long-haul segment of PowerCell's business and developing its second-generation fuel cell system. It recommends a dual fuel cell system for the heavy-duty market, generating 300 kW of combined power, and each fuel cell system can operate independently when power demand is low. Production is scheduled to commence soon at Bosch's manufacturing facility in Anderson, SC, representing a $200 million investment and creating employment opportunities for 350 workers.

Bosch has demonstrated its ability to manufacture a comprehensive range of components for fuel cell trucks at the 2023 ACT Expo. This range includes pressure and safety hardware for hydrogen tanks, hydrogen flow control systems, air compressors, cooling systems, power control and inverters, electric motors, and software. Bosch is firmly committed to industrializing components and systems for markets in Europe, the US, and China, and believes hydrogen is a viable solution for the future.
