Liberty Nation: The Tale of Sai Varshith Kandula – Mental Illness or False Flag?
The Tale of Sai Varshith Kandula – Mental Illness or False Flag?
A bizarre story of an Indian immigrant, Sai Varshith Kandula, who allegedly attempted a one-man coup d’etat near the White House, has raised questions about his political motives and mental state. Kandula was charged with “depredation of property of the United States in excess of $1,000” after legal developments downgraded the more serious charges he was originally facing, including “threatening to kill, kidnap or inflict harm on a president” and “assault with a dangerous weapon.” His possession of a Nazi flag has fueled speculation about his political affiliations, with some alleging that he planned the stunt himself or was put up to it as a political hoax to smear conservatives.

After declaring Trump unique threat, some liberal media declare DeSantis even 'more dangerous'
Media pundits are now targeting Florida Governor Ron DeSantis as a greater threat than former President Donald Trump for the 2024 GOP presidential nomination. Many left-of-center media outlets have claimed that DeSantis' intelligence and strategy make him more dangerous than Trump. These attacks may be an attempt to establish a preemptive narrative that can be continued should DeSantis emerge as the GOP nominee.

National Review: Minnesota’s Lurch to the Hard Left
Minnesota’s Lurch to the Hard Left
The recent session of Minnesota's state legislature, controlled by the Democratic-Farmer-Labor party, has resulted in a slew of leftist policies, including a "fundamental right" to abortion, defunding of abortion alternatives, gender surgery being publicly funded, and mandatory ethnic studies in schools. Other policies include drivers' licenses and state-funded healthcare for illegal immigrants, a red-flag law and expanded background checks for private gun sales, and convicted felons receiving the right to vote before completing parole or probation. The session also saw a huge budget increase that left little room for tax relief for most Minnesotans, with gas taxes, sales taxes, and other fees rising sharply.

American Thinker: Congressional spendaholics must be stopped
Congressional spendaholics must be stopped
Congress and the President do not seem to care about essential vs non-essential expenditures and the dangerous ramifications of overspending. Interest payments on debt totaled a hefty $5,512 billion. Senator Rand Paul details $482,276,543,907 of waste in 2022, including spending billions on non-essential projects while ignoring government waste, fraud, and overspending.

Billions are spent on non-essential projects while homeless and food-insecure Americans continue to struggle. Representative spending includes $2,100,000 to encourage Ethiopians to wear shoes and $50,000,000 to boost the Tunisia travel sector, while bridges, roads, and water supplies in communities go neglected. It's time to hold representatives accountable and take away the Congressional credit card until they can live within our means and pay down our debt.

At Iowa Launch, DeSantis Claims Trump Has 'Moved Left,' Cannot Win a General Election
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis declared his candidacy for President in 2024 during a speech in Iowa where he indirectly criticized former President Donald Trump. DeSantis focused on the failed policies of President Joe Biden rather than making his campaign about Trump. However, in response to Truth Social claims by Trump that Florida was “third WORST State in Deaths by Covid” and that “New York had fewer deaths!,” DeSantis counterattacked by saying that Cuomo (former New York Governor) did worse handling COVID than Florida did, pointing out that Trump’s entire family had moved to Florida. DeSantis's tour across three early-primary states will end on June 3 back in Iowa for a fundraiser with Sen. Joni Ernst (R-Iowa).

Maurice Symonette, founder of "Blacks for Trump," has a past of run-ins with the law and is a follower of the late cult leader Hulon Mitchell Jr. Symonette said he wants to "destroy" Republican presidential candidate Gov. Ron DeSantis. Symonette was a member of the "Nation of Yahweh," a sect of the Black Hebrew Israelites movement, and was acquitted of charges of murder. Symonette and his followers wear shirts that read "BlacksForTrump2020.com" and have set up camp near Trump's Mar-a-Lago. Symonette has donated at least $750 to Save America Joint Fundraising Committee, the primary fundraising apparatus for Trump's 2024 campaign. Symonette is also vehemently anti-LGBTQ.

Fox News: Connecticut Senate passes bill allowing voters to cast their ballots early, in person
Connecticut Senate passes bill allowing voters to cast their ballots early, in person
Connecticut residents will be allowed to cast their ballots in-person for the general election 14 days in advance under a new bill that passed the state Senate and is set to be approved by the governor. Voters approved a state constitutional amendment in November 2020, allowing the Democratic-controlled General Assembly to create an early voting system. The legislation covering general elections, primaries and special elections cleared the House earlier in June.

Connecticut is catching up with 46 other states that allow early voting systems. The state's bill allows for seven early voting days for most primaries and four for presidential primaries and special elections. The Senate also passed a resolution to add a voter referendum question to the November 2024 ballot that would ask if the state constitution should allow for no-excuses absentee voting that could be applicable to those permanently living abroad or those unable to travel. The state now joins those using in-person early voting systems across the country.

Why Are Democrats Trying to Pigeon-hole MAGA Women?
Republican and Independent women who support Donald Trump are labeled as narcissists and mentally ill by certain progressive media outlets. However, these women aren't solely about Trump, but could be supporters of the Founding Fathers' dreams for a constitutional republic. The demographic group of women who support Trump is diverse, including Hispanics, blacks, and whites. Despite a seven-year campaign against the former president, MAGA women will still vote for Trump or any candidate who promises an America First agenda. MAGA is a movement, not just a moment.

The Federalist: Leftists In Israel Offer Lesson On Actual Book Banning
Leftists In Israel Offer Lesson On Actual Book Banning
Far-left activists in Israel have pressured book chains to refuse to stock bestselling book Irreversible Damage, and prevented author Abigail Shrier from speaking at events. The book explores Western transgenderism in young women, examining it as a social contagion. Despite complaints of book banning in the US, there has been a surge of radioactivity over the concerns in Israel.

Republicans in the US have faced accusations of book-banning this year, but these have been dismissed as a myth by writer David Harsanyi, who claimed that the allegations are nothing more than a political racket. This controversy highlights the difference between genuine protests over book content and the overuse of accusations of book-banning as a political tool, demonstrating how the controversy can escalate and make genuine discussion and cultural progress difficult.

Bud Light sales decline ’accelerating’ -- parent company shares fell nearly another 5% in worst day yet on Wall Street
Bud Light's sales are continuing to drop, with a 24.3% year-on-year decline in the week ending 20 May, and has fallen for six weeks consecutively. The decline has been driven by a backlash against the brewer's advertising campaign featuring transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney. Shares in Anheuser-Busch InBev, the beer's parent company, fell almost 5% on Tuesday, and have fallen 18% since the April 1 post. The brewer's wider portfolio is also struggling, whilst rival Molson Coors' Coors Light beer is benefiting from market share gains. Bud Light's advertising campaign has been accused of "pushing the transgender icon" and has resulted in calls to boycott the beer.

Will-o’-the-Wisp Overturns Political Precedent
Portuguese director João Pedro Rodrigues's newest film, Will-o’-the-Wisp (Fogo-Fátuo), satirizes Portugal's sexual, racial, and religious history through time-skipping vignettes and a profound Millennial revolution. The film focuses on Alfredo, a young aristocratic art student who commits to public service defending national forests as a volunteer fireman and falls in love with black bombeiro Afonso, beginning his country's rebellion. The film's central image is an antique painting, The Wedding of Negro Rosa, connecting political correctness to Alfredo's education and hidden passions. The film is visually witty and unconventionally bold, with rude artistry going for unpredictable political provocation.

TikToker Documents Granny’s Assisted Suicide In Creepy Videos
Plus-size Victoria’s Secret model Ali Tate Cutler documents her grandmother’s upcoming assisted suicide on TikTok, aiming to normalize and repackage state-sponsored killing as an act of self-determination. Cutler frames Bubbie’s decision of going through the Canada’s medical assistance in dying program (MAID) as an issue of free will and bodily autonomy. She also successfully sparks the conversation about euthanasia and death taboo in the West. However, euthanasia contradicts the idea that all life is a sacred gift endowed by God with innate value. Bubbie deserves familial love and support, not TikTok-documenting the lead-up to her execution.

Fox News: Chinese 'debt-trap' crippling poor economies, endangering US national security
Chinese 'debt-trap' crippling poor economies, endangering US national security
Chinese loans with secretive and unforgiving terms are threatening to cripple multiple developing countries, with countries finding that repaying the debt has taken up a larger percentage of their tax revenues. Countries indebted to China are often unable to seek relief from other lenders as the result of secretive terms on their loans with China, causing the situation to be referred to as the "debt trap." The result could begin to have implications for U.S. national security as China gains control of strategically important ports and natural resources in these countries.

Joel Rubin argues that it is vital for the U.S. to develop partnerships with developing countries that make them less likely to turn to China for help. This includes promoting economic ties and aid that helps to grow the economies of these developing countries. Any U.S.-led effort to push regional agreements that "web together" countries makes them less likely to turn to China and more likely to depend on each other. Investing in defense is also important to deterring China and reassuring allies, but defense is only one pillar that will contribute to the long-term goal of curtailing Chinese ambitions.

How to stop the flow of guns south
The Gulf Cartel shot American Latavia McGee's group, took them as hostages, and killed two of them. All guns used in Mexico usually originate from the US, with straw buyers buying guns without background checks, and guns shows offering firearms for sale, which lead to large amounts of firearms being sold to criminal enterprises. This crisis needs addressing; the cartels' militarized power makes some Republican politicians and Mexican officials propose classifying them as terrorists, while others call for universal background checks on all gun sales.

Shares Drop Ahead of US Debt Ceiling Vote; China Data Rattles Nerves
Global shares fell, commodities and the yuan came under pressure after data showed faltering growth in China's economy. The MSCI All-World Index of global shares was down by 0.4%, U.S. stock index futures and fell by 0.3-0.4%, led by declines across Asian markets. China's manufacturing activity fell more than expected in May while services growth slackened to its slowest pace in four months, adding to concerns that the economy is losing steam and dimming the global outlook. The yuan dropped to its lowest since last November and the Australian dollar hit a near seven-month low of $0.6489. In Europe, equities came under a third day of selling pressure with the regional STOXX 600 hit two-month lows, led by declines in China-focussed luxury stocks.

Oil Falls On Weak China Data, Stronger US Dollar
Oil prices fell due to a stronger US dollar and weak data from China raising demand concerns. Brent crude futures for August delivery fell by 1.75 percent to $72.42 per barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate crude fell by 1.84 percent to $68.18. The dollar also rose, making commodities more expensive for those holding other currencies. Though oil prices have experienced volatility, the fundamental outlook is still seen as tight. Meanwhile, preliminary Reuters figures forecast US crude stockpiles falling last week, with distillate inventories increasing. Market players are preparing for a June 4 OPEC+ meeting about further oil production cuts.

The Epoch Times: Dollar Hits More Than 2-month High as European Inflation Cools
Dollar Hits More Than 2-month High as European Inflation Cools
The US dollar reached a more than two-month high after data showed European inflation is cooling faster than expected and China's recovery is slowing, causing the euro to fall to $1.066. European inflation slowing caused analysts to reduce the pressure on the European Central Bank to keep raising interest rates, making the euro less attractive compared to the dollar. Weak economic data from China also helped the US currency, as China’s factory activity shrank faster than expected in May, causing the Australian and New Zealand dollars to also fall. The Japanese yen fluctuated against the dollar, reaching a six-month peak of 140.93 on Tuesday before falling sharply and returning slightly on Wednesday. Sterling fell to $1.236, and the Turkish lira fell to a record low of 20.75 per dollar after President Tayyip Erdogan extended his two decades in power in Sunday's elections.

The Epoch Times: Nevada Governor Signs Bill Granting Abortion Access
Nevada Governor Signs Bill Granting Abortion Access
Nevada Gov. Joe Lombardo has approved a bill that codifies an existing executive order that blocks prosecutions for out-of-state residents who seek abortions and in-state providers. The legislation builds upon a previous executive order issued by former Gov. Steve Sisolak, a Democrat, which prohibits state agencies from aiding out-of-state investigations that might lead to the prosecution of abortion patients traveling to Nevada. The new law also means that doctors providing abortions can’t be penalized or disqualified by medical licensing boards and commissions.

Abortions fell by 32,260 in states with active restrictions from July 2022 to December 2022, according to a report by WeCount, a pro-abortion research group. In the last year, more than half of all U.S. states have moved to restrict abortions in the wake of the U.S. Supreme Court returning decision-making power to the states. Some states have seen ongoing legal battles over newly implemented abortion restrictions. On the other hand, pro-abortion states such as New York, Virginia, and New Jersey saw a slight increase in abortions per month following the Supreme Court’s decision.

Forbes: Latest Proclamation About AI Existential Risk Garners Big Headlines But Stirs Rising Backlash Of AI Overlord Alarmist Fatigue
Latest Proclamation About AI Existential Risk Garners Big Headlines But Stirs Rising Backlash Of AI Overlord Alarmist Fatigue
peek at regulatory capture. In other words, by spearheading pronounced risks about AI, those endorsing or promulgating the statements are giving themselves a degree of enhanced visibility, control, prestige, and/or sway. This is a hidden collaboration between the know-it-all tech community and governments or other global entities. The counterclaim is that this regulatory capture is an illusion or a spurious claim. Those making the AI extinction risk statements are bravely standing up to call attention to the matter. They are doing so because it is the right thing to do. It is not about acquiring more power or influence; it is about protecting humankind. Which viewpoint do you endorse? (3) Fearmongering Or Prudence The last main point is this. Some say that the calls for AI extinction risk mitigation are simply fearmongering. The assertions that AI will enslave or wipe out humankind are as unfounded as prior proclamations about any number of other non-existent threats to humankind. It is all hype and promoting angst. However, the counterclaim is that the AI extinction risks are anything but fearmongering. By ignoring the matter, we are exposing ourselves to a grave danger that is unfortunately not going to go away just because we ignore it. It is a matter of prudence and caution, nothing more, nothing less. Decide which viewpoint you adhere to. Wrapping Up…Or Maybe Not If you thought we were done and ready to wrap up, think again. We are bursting out with even more considerations and insights that are lurking just beyond the horizon. Let’s tackle a few additional matters that merit scrutiny. AI extinction risk statements are often an artifact of the AI Apocalypse community. This group consists of individuals who are passionate about the topic, knowledgeable about the topic, and often quite vocal about the topic. This group in past years has been stigmatized by the media as being sensationalistic, excessively alarmist, or just plain weird and outlandish. But, that is not the case. Yes, some of that characterization might apply to individual members of this group. But, it’s not what typifies the general nature of the AI Apocalypse community at large. In brief, these individuals are simply raising valid concerns that are based on well-researched and well-founded positions. They are not going away. Be prepared for more pronounced AI extinction risk statements to come. AI extinction risk statements are frequently a confusing matter that is not easily resolved in the court of public opinion. The viewpoints that people hold are often polar extremes, with little middle ground to be had. People will likely maintain their opinions despite rational or logical attempts to sway or persuade them otherwise. In other words, the level of cognitive dissonance on this topic is quite high and will remain so for the foreseeable future. Don’t expect much to change. AI extinction risk statements will continue to be made with increasing frequency. As generative AI applications become more common and more proficient, AI experts will become ever more vociferous in raising the alarm about humankind extinction risk. Prepare yourself for another deluge of AI extinction risk statements. Now, please go ahead and finish off that glass of spirits. You’re going to need it.

John Kerry and climate activists are opposed to gas and charcoal grills, with charcoal fires being on the kill list due to their carbon emissions. In addition, barbecue fare prices have increased, making the traditional hamburger barbecue less inexpensive. Kerry's mission is to overhaul the agricultural industry in the fight against global greenhouse gases, calling agriculture the largest contributing sector to these gases. These implementations would include converting inedible waste biomass into new materials. Additionally, Kerry seeks to overhaul the American education system to promote research and education on diet-related chronic diseases, with many predicting a potential ban on red meat. People should celebrate and honor the birth of America's founding fathers and the exceptionalism of the country as a whole, rather than focusing on increasing climate change concerns or systemic racism narratives.
