Divorced women are eligible for Social Security benefits if they were married to their ex-husband for at least 10 years. They can receive spousal benefits on their ex-husband's record, but only if his benefits exceed their own. If the ex-husband dies, the woman can receive up to 100% of his benefit rate, but if she remarries before age 60, she can no longer claim benefits on her ex-husband's record.
Red State: Hysterical, Scathing 'Boycott Target' Rap Song Tops the Charts
Rapper Forgiato Blow released a song blasting Target for their Pride Month offerings including suggestive material for children. The song, which points out Target's extensive displays of LGBTQ merchandise, unsurprisingly sparked controversy and has been a subject of shadow-banning on social media platforms. The chorus urges people to support boycotting Target. Recently, in the stock market, the company has experienced a sharp decline in share prices, sending its market cap to its lowest point in four years.
Red State: Post Memorial Day Thoughts on Freedom of Speech and Elon Musk's Twitter Gamble
Elon Musk's commitment to free speech on Twitter is reminiscent of the ideals of America's founders and the sacrifices made by military servicemen. Despite the recent tech glitch during Ron DeSantis' official nomination campaign launch on the platform, Musk continues to revolutionize the online sphere with SpaceX's mission to transport American astronauts to the International Space Station. Musk's purchase of Twitter revealed the platform's collaboration with the government to suppress certain stories and individuals, and although he has been threatened, he remains committed to providing a platform for different ideas. Musk's willingness to take risks and sacrifice his reputation should be appreciated, and his example should inspire others to uphold America's principles of free speech.

The Epoch Times: Protecting Our Thymus: An Organ That Can Regenerate With Surprising Benefits
The thymus gland, which trains T cells to fight against infections and cancer, plays a critical role in maintaining a strong immune system, but its ability to generate effective T cells declines with age. Thymus gland atrophy can be hastened by triggers like malnutrition, bacterial and viral infections, stress, and alcoholism. However, it can also regenerate, and specific strategies like consuming thymus-friendly foods, reducing stress, exercising, getting adequate sleep, and avoiding exposure to environmental pollutants can protect and preserve its function throughout life.

Washington Free Beacon: Biden Admin Wants Teachers to 'Partner Directly With Parents'—But Only In Puerto Rico
The Biden administration supports parental involvement in Puerto Rican public schools, which recently transitioned to a decentralized system of seven districts. In contrast, the administration has faced criticism for investigating parents who criticized school boards and for promoting controversial policies such as allowing transgender students to compete in sports based on gender identity, regardless of biological sex. Some states have passed legislation to protect parental rights, but Democratic leaders in New Hampshire and New Jersey have opposed such measures and faced backlash from parental rights advocates.

Washington Free Beacon: Kamala-Backed Bail Fund Sees Revenues Plummet By 98 Percent
Vice President Kamala Harris' bail fund, the Minnesota Freedom Fund, saw a drastic 98% drop in contributions in 2021, raising only $837,000 as opposed to $41.7 million in 2020. The group used donations to bail out violent offenders, including alleged murderers and pedophiles. Other social justice movements, like Black Lives Matter, also saw a decline in revenue due to decreased donations. Critics say the Minnesota Freedom Fund spent most of its donations on bailing out violent offenders, some of whom went on to commit murder while awaiting trial.

Forbes: Real Sociedad Achieving On The Soccer Field And In The Classroom
Real Sociedad Football Club is breaking the stereotypical behavior of soccer players by prioritizing education as much as soccer. 57 players enrolled in educational programs, and 43 are now taking high-school classes. The good news is that no player has dropped out of school because of their soccer commitments. Additionally, six players from the first team have either graduated from college or are currently studying.
Forbes: Does Chelsea FC’s Mason Mount Make Sense For Manchester United Going Into Next Season?
Chelsea's Mason Mount is expected to leave the club this summer, with Manchester United one of the potential suitors. Chelsea are reportedly holding out for a fee of £80m, but Manchester United are hoping for a lower fee due to Mount having only one year left on his contract. The midfielder is an attacking player with box-to-box capabilities.
Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag is looking to bring in midfield reinforcements this summer, with Mount potentially being one of them. Ten Hag prefers a possession-orientated game and could play Mount alongside Bruno Fernandes in an offensive midfield role, with Casemiro as the holding midfielder. Mount's preference is reportedly to join Manchester United over Liverpool and Arsenal.
Fox News: Dodgers' Blake Treinen blasts organization for honoring Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence
Los Angeles Dodgers players Clayton Kershaw and Blake Treinen disapprove of the team's decision to honor the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence during their Pride Night event. Treinen released a statement through a friend on Twitter, describing the group's performances as blasphemous and promoting hate of Christians and people of faith. Kershaw believes that the team's decision to bring back Christian Faith and Family Day was a direct response to the reinvitation of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. Both players disapprove of making fun of other people's religions, but their objections have nothing to do with the LGBTQ community or Pride.
