Daily Wire: Trump Vows To Sign Order To End Birthright Citizenship If Re-Elected
Former President Donald Trump pledges to sign an executive order to end birthright citizenship on day one of his new term in office, if he is re-elected in 2024. The order would seek to prevent babies born to illegal immigrants or visiting foreigners from gaining US citizenship. Trump claims that the policy rewards the breaking of US laws and acts as a magnet for further illegal immigration. He believes that ending birthright citizenship would reduce illegal immigration incentives and act as a deterrent for further illegal immigration, and also restrict "birth tourism" from foreign nationals aiming to obtain US citizenship. The proposed order would likely face challenges in court, as some legal experts argue it clashes with the 14th Amendment.

National Review: The Corner: Why Are RFK Jr. Voters Backing RFK Jr.?
Roughly 1 in 5 Democratic primary voters are backing Robert F. Kennedy Jr. over President Joe Biden, but mostly due to his "Kennedy name" and "family connections." Only 12% of Kennedy's supporters said they support his "views/policies." Kennedy's candidacy is seen as a blunt instrument for disaffected Democratic voters who want to express displeasure with the party.
Breitbart: Joe Biden Threatens to Withhold Uganda Aid over Anti-LGBT Bill
President Biden threatens to cut aid to Uganda, including through the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), following the passing of an “Anti-Homosexuality Act.” The law punishes those found guilty of “engaging in acts of homosexuality” with life imprisonment or the death penalty, and organizations promoting LGBT rights could be banned from the country for a decade. The law also punishes individuals who know of sexual assaults of children and the “vulnerable” but do not alert the police. Doctors in Uganda warn losing PEPFAR funding could have a devastating impact on the HIV-positive community in the country.
The Epoch Times: And Just Like That, Your Rights Are Gone
Parental rights are under attack in New York State and across the nation, with government entities and pseudo-government entities revoking parental rights, according to a commentator. Parents' stories of violation range from not being allowed to schedule their children's health appointments to not being able to access child report cards. The commentator argues that the government is intentionally coming after children, taking control of them and severing the bond between parent and child. The proposed A276b bill would allow sexually transmitted disease vaccines to be administered to children under 18 without parental knowledge or consent, although this would eliminate parents' existing right to know and make choices about their children's medical care.
PJ Media: U.S. Government Now Confiscating Private Legal Fund Donations to Jan. 6 Defendants
The Justice Department is requesting the return of over $25,000 raised by a man who pleaded guilty to storming the Capitol to donate to rioters termed "political prisoners." Prosecutors are asking judges to impose fines on top of prison sentences to offset donations from supporters of Capitol rioters. Meanwhile, the US legal system is now weaponized against domestic terrorists and white supremacists, says the DHS. They describe these groups as the number one terror threat in the country. Donald Trump, who explicitly encouraged them to march on the Capitol, has not been supportive of the nonviolent offenders caught in the campaign to make an example of them.
The Epoch Times: A Voice to Parliament Will Increase Indigenous Dependence on Government
Australia's Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is backing a "First Nations Voice" consultative body, with support from all state and territory premiers, to advise on laws affecting the Aboriginal community. However, the government's track record of welfare dependence and bureaucracy has failed to improve Indigenous lives, including a passive welfare "reward" system that may contribute to drug abuse, pornography, child abuse, and "humbugging". The entrenchment of The Voice in the Constitution could also cause difficulties in defining acceptable cultural behaviours and accountability for individual actions.
Breitbart: Gavin Newsom Gets Fact-Checked After Politicizing FL Shooting
California Governor Gavin Newsom blames Hollywood, Florida, shooting on constitutional carry law, but is fact-checked by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis's office as the law does not go into effect until July 1, 2023, and the shooting occurred on May 29, 2023. Police say the shooting was caused by a fight and a group of criminals. Newsom's California is the number one state for gun control and also had the highest number of active shooter incidents in 2021.
The Epoch Times: New Federal Code Aims to Restrict Lobbying by Public Office Holders
New rules implemented in July by the Canadian Lobbying Commissioner will impact unpaid campaign volunteers, prohibiting them from lobbying lawmakers after working on their campaigns. The revamped rules emphasise the importance of "transparent and ethical lobbying." Lobbyists are banned from approaching officials in situations where “the official could reasonably be seen to have a sense of obligation to you because of political work, paid or unpaid”, which in some circumstances includes helping on electoral campaigns. Those claiming to express “personal political opinions” will be exempt from the restrictions, and restrictions will apply to only some cases of close relationships with officials.
Breitbart: Nolte: Punishing Bidenflation Has 1 in 6 Retirees Considering Unretiring
Inflation caused by reckless federal spending and exacerbated by supply chain disruptions and labor shortages may become permanent, causing financial insecurity for retirees. Government policies, including the falsely labeled "Inflation Reduction Act," have not addressed rising prices of basic needs such as food, housing, and energy. Millions of illegal aliens are further increasing the demand for housing, disproportionately impacting low-income and older adults. As a result, one in six retirees is considering unretiring, leading to a loss of retirement dreams. The Biden administration is deliberately punishing Americans and putting the interests of illegal aliens above them.
Red State: Kevin McCarthy Goes a Little Too Far in Trying to Sell His Debt Ceiling Deal
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy and President Joe Biden's recent debt ceiling deal has caused controversy on both sides of the political aisle. The deal does not contain meaningful spending cuts, and progressives are upset that it slows the growth of spending. McCarthy forced Biden to negotiate, but is now being accused of gaslighting while defending the deal. While it may be a political win, the deal is not a significant victory for GOP priorities, with only weak provisions for work requirements for welfare programs and minimal deficit spending reductions.
Breitbart: Kevin McCarthy to Hold FBI Director in Contempt of Congress if Deadline Missed for Biden Bribery Document
McCarthy threatens FBI Director Wray with contempt of Congress charges if he fails to turn over informant file that allegedly links Biden to $5 million bribery scheme. The FBI is hesitant to release the document due to containing confidential information. Democrats defend the FBI's stonewalling, and claim that Comer's effort to compel transparency is an "assault" on the bureau.

Fox News: Lisa Rinna claims death threats, 'volatile' environment led to 'Real Housewives' exit
Lisa Rinna received death threats during her last seasons of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" due to the "volatile" nature of the show. She decided to leave the show after her mother, who recently passed away, told her it was time to go.
The Federalist Papers: Black Florida Business Owner Responds to NAACP 'Travel Advisory,' Buries Their Race-Baiting Narrative for Good
An African American Florida business owner has criticized the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP)'s travel advisory warning black people not to go to the state, which he claims is politically motivated. Mike Hill, owner of an insurance and financial services agency in Pensacola for over 30 years, believes that the advisory, which accuses Florida of being "hostile" to African Americans and other marginalized groups, is a fundraising ploy and is not grounded in reality. He argues that the Sunshine State is a place of "opportunity and prosperity" and that people come to the state for the beaches, sunshine, food, and hospitality, and not because of critical race theory or diversity programs.

Fox News: Indiana soldier killed in WWII finally identified after 75 years
U.S. military scientists have identified the remains of U.S. Army Pfc. Leonard E. Adams after more than 75 years since his death during World War II in France. Adams was killed in action when he and other members of his regiment encountered German forces.Geographical hurdles and fighting stopped his body from being immediately recovered, leading to his identification only this year. Adams' family recently briefed on his identification and his remains are due to be buried in Radcliff, Kentucky at a later date.
The Epoch Times: Foreign Secretary: Ukraine Has Right to Project Force Beyond Own Borders
The UK's Foreign Secretary, James Cleverly, has said that Ukraine has the right to "project force" beyond its own borders to defend itself, following drone attacks on Moscow. On 30 May, Russian authorities reported that drones crashed into three residential buildings in Moscow, blaming Ukraine for the "terrorist attack"; Kyiv denied any involvement. Cleverly said Ukraine had the legitimate right to undermine Russia's ability to project force into Ukraine, which included the right to "undermine military targets beyond its own border…internationally recognised as being legitimate as part of a nation's self-defence". The drone attack was the second to hit the Russian capital in less than a month, leading Putin to vow retaliation "in the manner, place and time of its choosing".
American Thinker: Stunning poll on Covid vaccine refusers and Ukraine war
A poll shows that most unvaccinated Canadians oppose their country's escalation of the conflict in Ukraine. These people are skeptical of propaganda campaigns pushed by government and corporate establishments, and are critical of MSM propaganda. Skepticism towards media structures is the only reasonable response when even journalism schools prioritize political agendas over truth.

The Epoch Times: The CCP Is Constructing a New World Media Order (Part 3 of 3)
The CCP's control of WeChat has allowed it to dominate the Chinese-language media in the United States, stifling political discussions and leaving Chinese communities vulnerable to manipulation. WeChat censors all content before distributing it, and accounts critical of the CCP are excluded. As tensions between the U.S. and China rise, pro-CCP propaganda is sparking tension within U.S. Chinese communities. The U.S. government has yet to find a way to limit the CCP's influence without violating "freedom of the press," but possible solutions include education, pressure on WeChat, and new legislation. Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has proposed the idea of "reciprocity" as a solution.
National Review: The Corner: Brazilian President Lula Defends Venezuelan Autocrat Nicolas Maduro
Former Brazilian president Lula da Silva met with Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro and defended him as a lawful president. Lula also slammed U.S. sanctions against Venezuela and agreed to Maduro’s request to join the BRICS organization, showcasing his anti-American stance. This is yet another example of Lula’s ties to anti-American authoritarians and the U.S. must consider its future position in South America.

China launched a Shenzhou-16 spacecraft carrying three astronauts to the country's orbiting space station, with the goal of putting astronauts on the moon by the end of the decade. The spacecraft launched from the Jiuquan launch center in northwestern China, and the crew will stay aboard the station for around five months to conduct scientific experiments and regular maintenance.

The Epoch Times: Robust Consumer Spending Could Be Bad News for Inflation
US consumers are continuing to demonstrate greater resilience than expected in the economic downturn, and this is having a knock-on effect on inflation, which is increasing at an unexpected rate. The Personal Consumption Expenditures (PCE) index, the Federal Reserve’s preferred inflation gauge, rose to 4.4% in April, surprising market analysts. Core PCE, which excludes food and energy price variations, rose to 4.7% in the same period. Consumer confidence dropped slightly in May, however, with the Conference Board’s Consumer Confidence Index down to 102.3 compared to April’s 103.7.
US retail sales rebounded slightly in April, said the Census Bureau, rising 0.4% from a negative 0.7% in March, which added to the strong performance in spending over the period. Consumers have been funding their spending and covering prices by using two sources: pandemic-era savings and credit. Despite a worrying decline in consumer confidence in May, consumers still possess around $500m in excess savings accumulated during the Covid-19 pandemic, according to the San Francisco Federal Reserve Bank and staff members anticipate that “the aggregate stock of excess savings will continue to support consumer spending at least into the fourth quarter of 2023," as they use this and debt to fund their outgoings. However, Scott Anderson, chief economist at Bank of the West Economics, forecast that darker times may lie ahead for consumer spending.

The Blaze: State Department details horrific persecution of Christians in North Korea, including the life imprisonment of an infant over a Bible
North Korea is the world’s worst persecutor of Christians according to the State Department's 2022 IRF report. The regime subjects believers to brutal labour conditions, life imprisonment, and execution for owning a Bible or practicing Christianity. The International Refugee Freedom report found roughly 70,000 Christians are held in political prison camps, with North Koreans subject to slaughter for simply looking at Bibles. Despite this, the report witnesses instances of Christian fortitude in the face of unimaginable cruelty that has left them bleeding on the ground. Christianity Today reported over 5,600 Christians were killed for their faith last year. According to Open Doors, the other countries with the highest levels of Christian persecution include Somalia, Yemen, Eritrea, Libya, Nigeria, Pakistan, Iran, Afghanistan, and Sudan.
Human Events: POSOBIEC and FRANK PAVONE: Leaders in the Catholic Church are
‘trapped in a system’ that tells them to ‘be quiet’ about
abortion
The Catholic Church is evading culturally relevant issues in the US, says Frank Pavone, Director of Priests for Life. The Church appears to have a system of intimidation going on, where the clergy are kept silent or told to tone down their views by their superiors. Pavone cites Dr. Bernard Nathanson, who founded the abortion industry and intended to divide and silence the Catholic Church to make it seem bigoted and irrelevant. Nathanson believed that if the clergy had spoken up at the time, the abortion industry would never have gotten away with what it did. The church's leadership appears to be trapped in a system that is telling them to be quiet.
PJ Media: Sister Wilhelmina Lancaster and Miracles
The body of Sister Wilhelmina Lancaster, founder of the Benedictine Sisters of Mary, Queen of the Apostles in Missouri, was exhumed and showed no signs of decay, leading to speculation of a miracle. Hundreds have made a pilgrimage to her monastery to pray, but the Church has yet to issue a decision. The greater miracle, however, is the faith she sustained during her life.
The Federalist Papers: Christian Dodgers Star Breaks Silence on LGBT Group Controversy, Points to Jesus
Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw dislikes the team's decision to honor a disrespectful LGBTQ group at an upcoming game, but he was able to utilize the event to reintroduce the team's Christian Faith and Family Day. Kershaw said the timing of the team's announcement regarding Christian Faith Day was "sped up" in light of the aforementioned group's highlighting at the Dodgers' "LGBTQ Pride Night" event. The group uses imagery of Catholic nuns, as well as Christ himself, in sexualized drag performances. The pitcher, along with his wife and others, discussed the group and its plans, and he held a team meeting. Kershaw does not agree with making fun of other people's religions, which is something the group does with Catholicism. The Christian event is an opportunity to share our testimony of what we believe and why we believe in it, the pitcher said, adding that he does not believe in boycotting. A Catholic advocacy group is launching a $1 million campaign to boycott the team after the Dodgers said they would honor the anti-Catholic group.

The video has garnered mixed reactions on Twitter with some criticizing the decision to have a male employee in the role while others defend the costume as harmless.

The Epoch Times: 'Canada Is Dying' as a New Opioid Crisis Hits, Fueled by 'Safer Supply': Documentary Filmmaker
The Canadian government's "safer supply" approach to addiction is giving addicts hydromorphone, which has led to an increase in diversion and a rise in overdose deaths. Documentary filmmaker Aaron Gunn's "Canada Is Dying" highlights the effects of safer supply initiatives, stating that many new drug-users are being attracted to the powerful drug. Major concerns have been raised by doctors, law enforcement, pharmacists, addiction clinic workers, and others. Despite opposition leader Pierre Poilievre's motion to halt this approach, the vote remained 209–113 against his proposal. Proponents of safer supply state that it prevents overdose deaths and risky behaviours. However, with record-high overdose calls and an increase in overdose deaths in British Columbia, Gunn argues that the approach has failed dramatically.
The Epoch Times: BC Cancer Patients Pay the Price for Government Inaction on Health Care
Canada's healthcare system is rapidly deteriorating as cancer patients in British Columbia wait months for radiation treatments. To combat this crisis, the province will be sending patients with breast and prostate cancer to clinics in Bellingham, Washington for radiation therapy. However, this is not a step forward but a desperate measure that highlights the failure of the NDP government in managing healthcare. The estimated 2.9 to 4 million Canadians waiting for medically necessary procedures and appointments highlight the enormity of the crisis in Canada's healthcare system.

Fox News: 153 people arrested during El Salvador’s crackdown on street gangs die in custody, report says
Over 150 inmates incarcerated under El Salvador's emergency powers implemented in March 2022 to combat powerful street gangs have died due to punitive policies carried out by guards and officials, according to a report by human rights group Cristosal. None of the deceased had been convicted, some deaths showed evidence of deliberate denial of medical assistance, medicine and food, and nearly half of the victims suffered violent deaths. The report calls on El Salvador President Nayib Bukele's administration to free the innocent, provide information to victims' families and end the measures implemented under the special powers.
The special powers instituted by the Salvadoran government suspend basic legal rights, including informing someone of their rights at the time of arrest, having access to a lawyer and being told the reason for their arrest. Although the government has arrested more than 68,000 people under the special laws, more than 5,000 have been freed after being unable to prove their connection to criminal structures. While foreign governments and human rights groups have condemned the measures, Bukele has maintained high levels of approval among Salvadorans for his crackdown on gangs.

Colodro had been tasked with liquidating the bank, which had been taken over by the government and had connections to several million-dollar loans. Authorities initially believed Colodro’s death was a suicide but have launched investigations after his family pointed to injuries on his body and questioned a suicide note found at the scene. Several of Bolivia's top leaders have called for an impartial investigation into the matter.
The Economist: How should Britain reform rape-trial laws?
The Law Commission has released a report highlighting the need for changes in the British criminal justice system to address myths and misconceptions around rape. Despite a significant increase in rape reports and cases, an unprecedented number of them are dropping before their cases become trials. Recommendations by the Law Commission to address the problem include tightening the use of sexual behaviour histories of complainants, using experts to help juries understand victim responses to sexual violence and providing independent legal advice to victims of sexual violence. The Law Commission wants people to focus on the reasons behind the lower rates of conviction rather than simply focusing on the trial process and juries.
The number of English and Welsh single-sex boarding school applications for boys has decreased by around 25% in the past decade due to a backlash to the privilege the institutions represent. The harsh discipline imposed and the focus on hierarchy and competition within schools is thought to lead to negative outcomes among the men they produce, including a sense of fear and self-doubt. The Independent Schools Council has responded by emphasising the value and positive attributes of a single-sex boarding school education, while many schools are seen to have tried to modernise their methods. In contrast, boarding schools for girls have seen a 10% growth in applications.
