Democrats on the House Oversight Committee are defending the FBI, which is set to turn over a key document linking President Joe Biden to a foreign national bribery scheme. Committee Chairman James Comer previously demanded that the FBI hand over a particular FD-1023 form or face contempt of Congress. Democratic Ranking Member Jamie Raskin viewed the threat as "ludicrously overblown," while Senior Virginia Democrat Rep. Gerry Connolly blamed the move to investigate the bureau on Donald Trump. The FBI cautioned against divulging unverified information from informants, stating that its mission is to protect the American people.

Daily Wire: SEE IT: How The French Care For American Graves At Normandy
France and other host nations honor fallen American soldiers buried in their soil on Memorial Day. Caretakers at the American cemetery in Normandy bring sand from Omaha Beach and use it to darken the letters on the white marble crosses. Other American cemeteries across Europe also mark each grave with both an American flag and the host nation's flag. Land where the soldiers were buried may be located in Europe, but it is considered American soil.
American flags and host nation flags adorn every marker at cemeteries in Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy, Tunisia, and the Philippines. Memorial Day has been observed at Henri-Chapelle American Military Cemetery in Belgium since 1945 and marked by both Generals Dwight D. Eisenhower and Omar Bradley. The cemetery in Manila has both American and Filipino flags at every grave.
