Red State: Feinstein’s Confusion Even Worse Than Previously Thought, According to New Reports
Senator Dianne Feinstein has recently returned to the Senate after allegedly being away for shingles, but has been showing signs of confusion. This has been going on for some time, as previously reported by former aides and colleagues. Some Democratic lawmakers and leftists are now calling for her resignation, but others are trying to keep her in the seat due to their own political interests. Hillary Clinton suggested that Republicans were to blame, but they have nothing to do with this political gamesmanship. Newsom can appoint a replacement, and the pushing for Feinstein's resignation is more about power and politics than her wellbeing.

Fox News: Nigeria's Tinubu sworn in as president amid social, political turmoil
Bola Tinubu has been sworn in as Nigeria's president, succeeding Muhammadu Buhari. He has promised economic growth, strengthened national security, and democratic dividends for citizens. However, his government faces unprecedented challenges, including extensive security crises, widespread poverty, and hunger, leaving some hopeful for a better life, with others skeptical that his government will perform better than the one he succeeded. Tinubu must tackle security crises to address the lack of confidence in the government as a protector of citizens.

Civil rights leader Bruce Wilson called on Greenville locals to boycott the event and for the banner to be removed, stating that "White America should not be the face of Juneteenth." The nonprofit organization Juneteenth GVL Inc. later apologized for the mistake and plans to remove the flags.
Red State: Women's Brand 'Always' Cancels 'Women,' Calls Young Girls 'Bodies With Female Sex Organs'
Proctor and Gamble's brand Always has produced "puberty kits" that include a 22-page manual entitled “Puberty and Confidence Guide for Everyone”. One teacher who received the kit claims that girls may struggle to comprehend the guide's phrasing: “bodies with female sex organs.” The reception of the guide has sparked online backlash, and Twitter users and feminists have criticized the guide for reducing girls to mere "bodies" with "front holes".

Foreign Policy: Putin Wants You to Think He’s an Anti-Woke Crusader
Republican candidates in the 2024 U.S. presidential campaign are becoming increasingly ambivalent about Washington's support for Kyiv and the war in Ukraine, playing to a base skeptical about the war effort. However, this base risks overlooking Russian President Vladimir Putin's exploitation of domestic divisions for foreign-policy ends. Some key figures in the U.S. antiwar movement in the 1960s believed that their struggle and that of the Vietnamese Communists were really one and the same, seeing the United States as the headquarters of imperialism, at the heart of which was a military-industrial complex that sought power for the sake of wealth and which gave violence and exploitation in return. The U.S. antiwar movement helped undermine support for the Vietnam War, providing an opening for communist forces in North Vietnam and the Soviet Union to use these domestic critiques to undermine U.S. foreign policy. Putin has embraced the idea of the conservative critique of Western society as his own, positioning Russia as a bastion of traditional Christian values.

Forbes: Rail Bill Would Increase Energy Costs, Bureaucracy
Regulations in the Rail Safety Act could increase energy prices, which has divided Republicans in Congress. The legislation, introduced after a freight train accident in Ohio, prioritizes bureaucracy instead of safety and could restrict the movement of American energy products. Critics argue that the increased costs and regulatory requirements would harm American supply chains, increase costs for American consumers, and have a negative impact on the economy.

PJ Media: The Smart People Are Working on Worsening the Nursing Shortage
The nursing shortage crisis in the US has been fueled by several factors, including the aging population, aging out of nurses, and burnout caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Young women are not studying nursing anymore, and feminism is believed to be a chief culprit as feminists have long inculcated into young women's brains that everything distinctively feminine is low-status and looked down upon. Consequently, women have become reflexively defensive of their career choices, leading to fewer women trained as nurses. To address the nursing shortage, the social and intellectual status of nursing should be elevated. However, stringent requirements for nursing jobs are screening out LPNs and ADNs, who are traditionally the lifeblood of the nursing profession. Hospitals and healthcare systems are increasingly insisting on a BSN degree to aid in the effort to weed out insufficiently woke nurses.

American Thinker: Arrest of Chicago ‘Peacekeeper’ police substitute demonstrates the folly of ‘defund the police’
An alleged "peacekeeper" wearing a neon vest beat up and robbed a man in Chicago, causing serious injuries. The incident highlights the failure of progressive policies that advocate for unarmed social worker alternatives to police. Despite Chicago having 1,700 police officer vacancies, Democrat politicians have refused to add funds to the police, causing mass early retirements and resignations. Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker signed an "anti-cop" bill in 2021, but then later claimed credit for deploying 30 "Peacekeepers" to Chicago neighborhoods funded by the bill. The deployment was an attempt to prevent violence during the Memorial Day weekend. However, one of the peacekeepers was arrested for an alleged violent attack. The man arrested was on parole and had a criminal record, which demonstrates the issue with hiring untrained social workers instead of qualified police officers.

Boating Mag: ACR GlobalFix V5 AIS EPIRB Series
A new generation of Emergency position-indicating radio beacons (EPIRBs) has been released by ACR Electronics. These beacons include automatic identification system (AIS) transmitters and are designed to improve the speed and accuracy of rescue missions for boats in distress. Once activated, the EPIRB sends a 406 MHz distress signal to a worldwide emergency satellite network, while the integrated AIS alerts nearby vessels and provides precise location data for rescuers. The beacons also include a Return Link Service feature that provides confirmation to the distressed boater that the message has been received.

Forbes: The Chiplet’s Time Is Coming, It’s Here, Or Not.
The adoption of chiplet technology has been ongoing for over a decade, as seen in the production of FPGAs by Xilinx and Intel's packaged ICs using EMIB. Chiplets offer the ability to exceed reticle limits and combine different capabilities, but widespread adoption is limited due to the absence of a commercial market and the lack of interface and packaging standards. However, the development of standards like the UCIe (Universal Chiplet Interconnect Express) is gaining traction, and companies like Eliyan have announced operational test chips for UCEe-compatible NuLink PHY technology. Multi-die packaging remains limited to organizations that truly need it, but there is potential for chiplet technology to break out of its small niche in the future.
