The Federalist Papers: Investors in Target, Bud Light Have Lost Eye-Popping Amount of Money as Result of Epic Marketing Failures
Bud Light and Target lose billions due to boycotts over their promotion of radical left-wing ideals. Bud Light's attempt to reach out to younger, woke customers was met with backlash, particularly after partnering with a transgender TikTok influencer. Target also faced a boycott after promoting a "tuck-friendly" swimsuit and partnering with a company with links to Satanism. Both companies face financial losses and criticism of their brand leadership. Despite this, experts predict that corporations will continue supporting the LGBT movement and other left-wing causes.
Fox News: Biden brushes off Republicans' defense spending concerns over debt ceiling deal, suggests deal could be made
President Biden dismissed Republican concerns over defense spending in the debt deal, stating that any further funding for the military would receive bipartisan approval. Republican Senator Lindsey Graham vowed to undo the bipartisan debt ceiling bill, claiming that it would be a “disaster” for national defense and necessitate a correction for the nation’s defense. The deal includes a 3% rise in defense spending next year, less than the current annual inflation rate of more than 4%, and it would also keep nondefense spending roughly flat in the 2024 fiscal year and increase it by 1% the following year.

The Epoch Times: John Robson: Elite Pushback Against a Canadian Foreign Agent Registry Is a Ruse
Canada is facing a historic moment with regard to foreign meddling as an elite pushback occurs against a foreign agent registry when the spotlight turns on China. A petition calls a "foreign influence registry" a serious harassment and stigmatization risk for racialized communities, which is a slander on Canadians as bigots. This registry risks protecting innocent Canadians, especially of Chinese extraction, from communist bullying. Many in the Chinese diaspora vocally support such a registry because they have direct experience of this evil idea and its hideous consequences. Senator Yuen Pau Woo, appointed by Justin Trudeau, has also spoken out against Canada criticizing China's human rights record citing indigenous people’s residential schools in Canada.
Michael Chan is suing CSIS, several of its employees, and two journalists over matters such as “stereotypical typecasting of immigrants born in China as being somehow untrustworthy.” At a 2019 Toronto rally, Chan said, “We support Hong Kong’s police strictly handling unrest,” a.k.a. crushing pro-democracy protests. Chan also backed the Confucius Institute, which senior CCP official Li Changchun called “an important part of China’s overseas propaganda set-up.” A registry of those who do foreign meddling will help with transparency, but David Johnston, a former Trudeau Foundation member, refuses to allow a public inquiry into the foundation's shady Chinese Communist Party funding. Communist subversion is real and Canadians will look into it.

Fox News: Furry fury as convention goes 18+ in reaction to DeSantis law: 'Heartbreaking'
Florida's Megaplex furry convention is limiting attendance to adults over 18 due to Governor Ron DeSantis' law prohibiting children attending "adult live entertainment." The convention assessed that they could be violating the Protection of Children Act by admitting minors to a live performance which depicts nudity, sexual conduct, sexual excitement, or specific sexual activities. Many events cater to the NSFW aspects of the fandom but are typically saved for night-time, allowing daytime activities to be family-friendly. The community is a fan of anthropomorphized creatures, and the fandom welcomes marginalized people, including LGBTQ and neurodivergent individuals and young children.

Flag And Cross: Cathie Wood's ARK Sees Tesla Cybertruck Being As Mainstream To Compete With Current EV Trucks
Cybertruck's success could have implications for traditional automakers, as analyst from Cathie Wood-led Ark Investment Management believes the upcoming Cybertruck could be as mainstream as Tesla's Model Y. Despite being based on low expectations and a blind spot, the Cybertruck, with 1.5 million reservations, has increased in popularity and Google trends suggest a growing interest. With EIA forecasts of electric trucks accounting for no more than 10% of trucks sold in the US by 2050, Korus disagrees, calling it a "mistake" not to consider the Cybertruck's implications.

Red State: Breaking Barriers: Crisis Pregnancy Centers Stand Tall in Pro-Abortion Stronghold
The growth of crisis pregnancy centers (CPCs) in California continues to irritate the pro-abortion crowd, as these centers decrease the number of abortions occurring nationwide. California Democrats have attempted to regulate CPCs into oblivion, but First Amendment protections have enabled them to continue operating. Critics argue that CPCs mislead women seeking abortions, but supporters claim they offer vital support to vulnerable women. CPCs provide free pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, and consultations, offering accurate and non-judgmental counseling about parenting, adoption, and abortion. By empowering women with knowledge and resources, CPCs allow them to make informed decisions that align with their personal values and circumstances.
