American Thinker: IRS commissioner says IRS follows direction of Justice Department
IRS denies retaliation against whistleblowers, but admits to following directives of Justice Department in federal judicial proceedings. Whistleblowers claim Justice Department interfered in criminal investigation, potentially involving Hunter Biden.
Fox News: Hunter Biden's 'sugar brother' keeps the first son afloat amid multiple scandals
Hunter Biden turns to Hollywood lawyer and big-time Democratic donor, Kevin Morris, for financial support and strategic advice amid a federal investigation into his finances and overseas business dealings. Morris has lent Biden a luxury private jet, helped pay off his overdue taxes, and controlled his stake in a Chinese private equity firm. He has also advised Biden on legal, personal, and financial matters, including his child-support lawsuit and response to ongoing federal probes. Morris has been dubbed Hunter's "sugar brother" and has played an increasingly significant role in the first son's life.
Liberty Nation: Welcome to the 2024 Circus
New players enter GOP primary race, but Trump still leads. Biden family connections scrutinized. Trump faces legal troubles.
American Thinker: Durham bull
The report on 2016 presidential campaigns allows government officials to escape accountability for their abuse of American citizens. The DoJ applied for a warrant renewal on part-time Donald Trump campaign adviser Carter Page based on former British intelligence agent Christopher Steele's credibility. Steele made significant admissions in a court case that weakened his credibility, but the DoJ failed to inform the FISA Court before issuing the renewal of the warrant. The report did not prosecute anyone responsible for the abuses discussed above.
American Thinker: Answering the Big Question: Ron or Don?
Political allies debate whether or not Donald Trump should run for president again. One former supporter calls him a "thin-skinned, immature, undisciplined" individual while another says he is "chaos in human form" and has lost their support. However, the author believes that Trump's personality is beside the point and that his foreign policy choices benefited America, leading her to vote for him again. The author also cautions against insulting rivals and asks that the insults be toned down.

National Review: Deterrence Has Kept the U.S. and the World Safe. Will President Biden Abandon It?
The G-7 Summit discussed the growing dangers of nuclear threats posed by China, Russia, North Korea, and Iran, while US President Biden aimed to achieve a world without nuclear weapons. However, the G-7's "Vision on Nuclear Disarmament" was a mixed bag of idealism and realism, stating that as long as any nuclear threat exists, allies would require weapons for deterrence and defense. Biden's history on hard power and arms control does not inspire confidence, given his political positions and push for arms-control measures, even when it disproportionately restricts the US. Senators Tom Cotton and Jim Risch introduced a bill that recognizes Russia to be in material breach of the New START Treaty and seeks to strengthen the deterrence of the US, especially its nuclear forces.

The Epoch Times: European Shares Lack Momentum After Debt Ceiling Deal
European stock indexes slip while Wall Street futures remain positive after U.S. debt ceiling deal reached between President Joe Biden and top congressional Republican Kevin McCarthy. Deal expected to only provide short-term relief for markets as worries about inflation and rate increases linger. Asian stocks mostly rose, with Tokyo’s Nikkei surging to a 33-year high, but Chinese stocks fell due to concerns about economic slowdown. Markets are leaning towards the Fed raising rates by 25 basis points next month. Treasuries were not traded on Monday due to public holidays in the US and UK.
Liberty Nation: Americans Grow Poorer Under the Biden Administration
Despite President Joe Biden's claims that the economy is improving, recent studies show that nearly 90 million Americans are struggling to make ends meet under his administration. The Census Bureau's Household Pulse Survey revealed between April 26 and May 8 that 89.1 million Americans found it difficult to pay for regular household expenses, and inflation has contributed to financial woes. Inflation has also led to soaring food and other goods prices, causing more Americans to raid their 401Ks and retirement accounts just to stay afloat. Confidence in the government finding a solution is low, and some experts warn this trend will continue.
Forbes: Mini Stores Will Grow For Many Major Retailers

National Review: Honor Those Who Gave Their ‘Last Full Measure’
On Memorial Day, we remember those who fought and died for our country, from the Civil War to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. We should not only remember, but also dedicate ourselves to the cause for which they sacrificed their lives.

National Review: A Hard-as-Nails Commitment to Human Connection
Hard as Nails Ministry brings young people to Christ by telling them they are loved, a message that is desperately needed in our society. The ministry’s focus is on encouraging actual human contact and spreading love to those who feel lost or alone. The mission is to bring people to the Gospel, to spread courage, authenticity, and obedience, and to ensure that no one is left behind. This appeal to the fundamental need for love and connection is a refreshing alternative to the politics of anger and neglect that dominate our culture.

The Epoch Times: Baby in the womb undergoes first-of-its-kind surgery to place 23 coils in her brain, is now thriving
Doctors have successfully performed an in-utero surgery on a baby diagnosed with vein of Galen malformation (VOGM), a rare prenatal condition in which arteries carrying high-flow blood connect directly with veins at the base of the brain, putting strain on the heart. The surgery involved placing 23 coils inside the baby's skull, in a complex procedure called embolization. The baby, Denver, was born prematurely at 34 weeks gestational age, but after just 11 days in the Boston Children's Hospital NICU, she was discharged with low-flow oxygen for pulmonary hypertension, which has since been resolved, and she weighs a little over 8 pounds. The groundbreaking case study was published in the American Heart Association’s journal, Stroke.

Forbes: Who Will Replace Luciano Spalletti At Napoli? The Best Bet Could Be An Outsider
Napoli coach Luciano Spalletti is leaving the club as he plans to take a year's sabbatical. Spalletti wants to depart a winner, his reputation at an all-time high. Cristiano Giuntoli, Napoli's sporting director, appears to be edging towards a deal with hated rivals Juventus, but nothing is official yet. Losing defender Kim Min-Jae would be a big loss, considering how vital he was in tightening up Napoli’s defence. Gian Piero Gasperini and Luis Enrique are interesting candidates to replace Spalletti, but the best fit for Napoli would be attack-minded coaches Italiano or De Zerbi.
