Breitbart: Report: NYC Migrant Hotel Descends into 'Free for All' with Drugs, Alcohol
Migrant and illegal alien occupants of a New York City hotel, under the purview of Mayor Eric Adams, are doing drugs and drinking outside the hotel's doors, according to an eyewitness report. A former employee of the Row NYC said that almost every shift saw migrant children drunk or doing drugs. Children as young as 12 have been seen drinking and smoking outside the hotel as police sporadically push occupants off the premises. More than 70,000 border crossers and illegal aliens have arrived in New York City and been housed in the city's hotels since the spring of 2020. The situation has led to concerns from residents about the safety of their neighborhoods.

Breitbart: Clyburn: I Don't Like Current Food Stamp Work Requirements
Rep. James Clyburn thinks the trade-off in the debt ceiling bill for work requirements on food stamps is a good one, as it would cover more veterans and homeless people. Although he admits that the current work requirements are tough, he says that it isn't new and that rather than age 49, it goes up to 54 years old, but now over 100,000 more veterans and homeless people will be exempt.
Townhall: Retired And Former FBI Agents Let Your Voices Be Heard
Retired FBI agents have valuable insight into the current weaponization of federal institutions, despite claims otherwise. The retired agent community is composed of professionals who have served their country honorably for decades, with many possessing advanced degrees and continue to apply their learned lessons to positions of great responsibility. Arguing that retired agents are not relevant is a logical fallacy, and character is only relevant in determining whether someone should be lionized or labeled as heroic. It is crucial for private citizens to stand up for the truth and civil liberties.
Spectator USA: Can the Heritage Foundation unite the right?
The Heritage Foundation, a center-right think tank, is attempting to rebuild its legitimacy and broaden its tent by building a new conservative coalition. Its president, Dr. Kevin Roberts, wants the organization to bring together disparate factions on the right to beat back the left. To achieve this, Heritage is rekindling old friendships and sponsoring events with conservative populists. However, this shift has made Heritage some new enemies, with neoconservatives and classical liberals accusing Heritage of abandoning its founding principles. Despite these criticisms, Heritage is embarking on one of its most ambitious projects ever, Project 2025, to help staff the next presidential administration with vetted conservatives.
Front Page Magazine: The Fisher Mayor and the ‘ISIS Imam’
Broward County Mayor Lamar Fisher spoke at the Islamic Center of South Florida, a controversial mosque with extremist imams and a history of Hamas financing. Photos of Fisher at the mosque were posted on Facebook. The mosque also allowed radical imam Fadi Kablawi, suspected of ISIS involvement and known for his anti-Semitic views, to raise funds at the location. Other imams associated with the mosque have ties to Hamas and Taliban financing and promote domestic violence and death punishments for gays. ICOSF has also held services for Hamas militants.
Townhall: America's Version of Bizarro World
America has entered an alternative universe, like the Bizarro World, where things are accepted if done in opposition to what should be normal, right, and from a place of common sense. In this world, illegal immigration is fine and welcomed, and those who believe in fiscal responsibility are ridiculed viciously.
The good guys are not the evil guys, and everything is opposite to what things should be. In this left-sided universe, laws like the healthcare law aren't what they seem and do not protect the patients, nor make anything affordable. The establishment of Bizarro World did not happen overnight and began with Barack Hussein Obama.

Front Page Magazine: CNN Provides Forum for Representative of Hamas-Linked Groups
CNN en Español recently interviewed Wilfredo Amr Ruiz, a representative of groups tied to Hamas, to comment on the commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the Nakba, which condemns the creation of Israel. Ruiz's lies and propaganda went challenged by the host, and Ruiz is a legal advisor for the American Muslim Association of North America, who has targeted Jews with bigotry and hate. CNN did not present to its audience Ruiz's terror-related and anti-Semitic background. Ruiz stated Israel’s occupation “is the core of the dispute between Israelis and Palestinians," not regarding security concerns Israel has, and in doing so delegitimized Israel.

Townhall: No Will, No Way
The US debt crisis is a disgrace and politicians are allowing it to continue for personal gain. Solving this problem is crucial for the nation's sustainability but those in power are too addicted to government and dependency to make the necessary cuts. The problem lies in "extractive" economic institutions, overtaxing the successful, subsidizing the unsuccessful, and a tilted playing field that robs citizens of opportunities. This along with uncontrolled immigration, the destruction of moral norms, and rampant crime is evidence of an unraveling social structure. It's time to redefine what's right as a nation and take action before we decline further.

Fox News: On this day in history, May 30, 1868, first Decoration Day is held in remembrance of those lost in war
On May 30, 1868, the first Decoration Day was observed, which later evolved into Memorial Day, a day to honor fallen members of US armed forces from all wars. General John Logan, leader of an organization for Civil War veterans from the North, called for a national day of remembrance on May 5, 1868. The events of the first Decoration Day were filled with patriotism and solemn tributes, and General James Garfield made a speech at Arlington National Cemetery, where about 5,000 participants decorated the graves of the 20,000 Civil War soldiers buried there. The name of the day began to change to Memorial Day, supplanting Decoration Day, and it soon became a day to honor all fallen American troops. In 1968, the U.S. government passed the Uniform Monday Holiday Act, which put Memorial Day on a specific Monday to give federal employees a three-day weekend, and codified its name into law. Americans observe Memorial Day by visiting cemeteries, community gatherings, and attending the Memorial Day Observation Ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery, where a wreath-laying ceremony is held at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

Forbes: Underachieving At Memorial Day, These Days A Team Still Can Contend
Memorial Day marks the first milestone in the 162-game baseball season. Before 1969, middling teams around this day were unlikely to win a pennant. Since then, the playoff format evolved, giving even middling teams a chance to make it to the postseason. As of now, every team in the National League is within five games of the third wild-card spot. Despite their 24-29 record, the San Diego Padres and other middling teams still have a shot at making the playoffs.
Last year, the Phillies were 21-28, about to fire Joe Girardi. But a little over four months later, they were celebrating their first NL pennant since 2009. The Mariners were 20-28 but still made the postseason for the first time since 2001. The Nationals were 22-32 at Memorial Day in 2019 but went on to become World Series champions. Being middling at this point does not mean your team is out of the running. Even the Oakland Athletics, at 11-45, and the Kansas City Royals, at 17-38, can still turn their season around.
