Red State: Liz Cheney Learns a Valuable Lesson About the Far Left During Commencement Speech
Former U.S. Rep. Liz Cheney was booed by graduates and had chairs turned away from her during her commencement address at Colorado College. Cheney criticized former President Trump and Republicans for not doing enough to combat his lies about the 2020 election being stolen. Despite her attempts to hit the right notes, including talking about January 6th, she was met with hostility from some in the audience who wore messages proclaiming her a "racist, imperialist, transphobic, warmonger." The incident shows that Republicans can never be radical enough for the far left, and attempting to make common cause with them will only result in being eaten up and spit out.

Daily Wire: ‘Twilight’ Star Rachelle Lefevre Whines About Target Moving Pride Collection, Says She Has ‘Non-Binary’ 7-Year-Old
Actress Rachelle Lefevre accuses Target of "trying to erase" LGBTQ people by moving their Pride collection to the back of stores. The move came after backlash from both leftists and conservatives due to the collection's inclusion of "tuck friendly" and chest-binding swimwear, as well as items designed by an Etsy seller of Satanic merchandise. Lefevre claims her non-binary child was elated to see the collection but was devastated when it was moved, and has urged her followers not to "negotiate with terrorists." Some commenters have criticized Lefevre for pushing "unnecessary things" on a 7-year-old child.

The Epoch Times: The CCP Is Constructing a New World Media Order (Part 2 of 3)
The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has been using various media channels, including WeChat and OTT internet TV platforms, to manipulate and influence Chinese communities in the United States. These platforms were launched in 2006, and they carry the official channels of the CCP and hundreds of Chinese TV stations. The CCP aims to construct China's characteristic values and its discourse system, and to raise the communist flag all over the world. The CCP manipulates news content it owns on The News Break, and fake foreign media outlets are used to propagate the CCP's brainwashing rhetoric among foreigners and Chinese overseas communities.
Several Chinese-language media outlets in the United States, including the World Journal and Sing Tao Daily, are controlled directly or indirectly by the CCP. The CCP manipulates the news content to deceive the Chinese people and gain support from audiences outside China. The CCP aims to create "Chinese stories" to integrate Chinese ideas and concepts with internationally recognized discourse. The CCP leverages financial power to fund its influence overseas, and its media presence in the United States is large. A former president of state-run Xinhua News Agency campaigned for "new rules and order" in the traditional flow of information from West to East, proposing new ways for the CCP to manipulate how the rest of the world views China.

National Review: Bud Light Faces ‘Hurricane Mulvaney’ Moment as Sales Drop for Sixth Straight Week
Bud Light’s sales are dropping for a sixth week in a row due to its partnership with influencer Dylan Mulvaney. Sales have dropped by 28.4% in the second week of May, with an external event only negatively affecting one brewer. A store is even offering cases of 24-packs for $3.49 to offset costs before the beverage expires. Despite promotional efforts such as patriotic-themed advertisements, rival brands, including Coors Light and Miller Lite, have reported an uptick in sales above 15% over the same period.
The Epoch Times: Two-Thirds of Canadian Marijuana Dealers Falling Behind in Tax Payments, Report Finds
Two-thirds of legal cannabis dealers in Canada fell behind on their tax payments, according to a federal report. The unpaid taxes totalled $52.4 million in 2022 and are projected to nearly double to $97.5 million this year. Cannabis producers are required to remit excise duties to the Canada Revenue Agency on a monthly basis, which many find challenging due to non-monthly payments from buyers. The Department of Finance has proposed allowing producers to remit excise duties quarterly instead. Regulating legal cannabis produces a high amount of onerous fees and taxes, which illicit producers do not face.

Forbes: Australia And India Contest Million Dollar Prize But Cricket’s World Test Championship Needs Tweaking
The World Test Championship was created to add context to bilateral Test matches, with a two-year tournament featuring nine countries leading to a final to determine the best Test playing country. However, the tournament has been flawed, with a convoluted schedule and only nine teams participating, leaving out Test nations such as Ireland, Afghanistan, and Zimbabwe. Promoting a relegation second division of the WTC could provide more incentives for these countries to develop their Test cricket, but the WTC won't be changed anytime soon. India and Australia are preparing to meet in June's final at the Oval in London and fight for the $1.6 million winning prize.

USA Today’s Nancy Armour slammed ESPN’s Samantha Ponder for defending women’s sports against the inclusion of biological males who identify as transgender. In a series of tweets, Ponder voiced her support for swimmers like Riley Gaines who just want fairness in their beloved sports. She’s not alone, as fellow ESPN broadcaster Sage Steele also spoke out against the inclusion of transgender individuals in women’s sports. Armour accused Ponder of being a “bigot” who disguised her hate with the mantle of “fairness”. Armour then played a straw-man game by challenging Ponder to speak out about other issues, instead of focusing on transgender inclusion in women’s sports.

Front Page Magazine: Like the Rest of Us, Sen. Feinstein Isn't Sure What Kamala is Doing as VP
The Democratic Party is facing accusations of sexism for pressuring Senator Dianne Feinstein to retire due to alleged incapacity while defending Senator Jon Fetterman's qualification despite his history of institutionalization and electroshock. However, a leaked rumor suggests that Feinstein might be the sanest member of the party, as she reportedly expressed confusion over Vice President Kamala Harris presiding over the Senate. Feinstein's question, "What is she doing here?" reflects a sentiment shared by many Americans who are puzzled by Harris' actions.
