Breitbart: Target VP Was Board Member for K-12 Transgender Advocacy Group
Target VP Was Board Member for K-12 Transgender Advocacy Group
Target's shareholders suffered a $9 billion loss in stock value due to the company's C-suite mixing professional duties with personal agendas. This included advocacy for transgenderism, exemplified by Vice President for Brand Marketing Carlos Saavedra, who is also a board member of a K-12 advocacy group for transgenderism and gay status. Target's managers created their own disaster by placing pro-LGBTQ+ products in prominent store displays, leading to a mobilization of the public, especially married suburban moms, who feel alarmed by elite advocacy for transgenderism.

The Epoch Times: AUKUS Subs Deal: Pentagon Seeks Congress Greenlight for Sub Transfer
AUKUS Subs Deal: Pentagon Seeks Congress Greenlight for Sub Transfer
The Pentagon has submitted proposals to Congress requesting the transfer of up to two nuclear power submarines to Australia, indicating the US's commitment to an ongoing relationship. The legislative proposal comes as part of the AUKUS submarine security cooperation and will require significant coordination among the governments of Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

The legislation does not state when the United States Navy will transfer the Virginia class submarines. The Pentagon said there needs to be flexibility, as the transfers may not occur for a significant period and will rely on Australian readiness. In addition, US President Joe Biden has announced that he would ask Congress to add Australia as a “domestic source” to accelerate and strengthen AUKUS implementation and build new opportunities for US investment.

The American Spectator: The World Would Be Much Different Had Our Leaders Listened to William Bullitt
The World Would Be Much Different Had Our Leaders Listened to William Bullitt
The Madman in the White House is a new book by political scientist Patrick Weil which provides a biography of William Bullitt, a well-connected American diplomat who found himself at many key moments throughout the 20th century. Although ostensibly about the book that Bullitt and Freud wrote on Woodrow Wilson, Weil's work largely focuses on Bullitt himself. Bullitt and Freud analysed Wilson's refusal to compromise with Senate Republicans over the Versailles Treaty and blamed Wilson's personality, which they attributed to his relationship with a dominant father and his passion for repressing his homosexuality. Bullitt's own life was more interesting than Wilson's and his judegement should have been followed by leaders as his predictions of Soviet expansion proved correct but fell on deaf ears.

The American Spectator: The Birthplace of Woke: Identity Studies in Academia
The Birthplace of Woke: Identity Studies in Academia
In his book "The Victims' Revolution," Bruce Bawer discusses how identity studies, such as women's studies and black studies, have been taken over by leftist radicals who prioritize identity categories over real education. In the new introduction to the 2021 paperback edition, Bawer discusses how identity studies' guiding dogmas, such as critical race theory and anti-racism, have spread into society, demonizing men and promoting trans ideology. Despite their lack of substance and relevance to reality, identity studies scholars continue to use pretentious rhetoric and strive for wholesale dismantling of the world they have been given, as seen in online discussions on trans studies.

The American Spectator: Would Target Sell ‘Hetero Pride’ Shirts?
Would Target Sell ‘Hetero Pride’ Shirts?
Target is pulling some "Pride Month" clothing, yet their website still has a "PRIDE" page boasting being true to oneself and your community. However, when searching for "Heterosexual Pride," the only result was a shirt celebrating LGBTQIA+ pride. Target is being criticized for not being inclusive of other communities, such as Christians, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, and those of different ethnic origins. Furthermore, Target's partnership with GLSEN, which pushes radical transgender policies in K-12 schools, has raised concerns.

Front Page Magazine: Three Cheers for Tommy Robinson
Three Cheers for Tommy Robinson
Tommy Robinson's new documentary, "Silenced," sheds light on a controversial incident in Huddersfield, England in which the media portrayed Bailey McLaren, a thirteen-year-old white boy, as a racist who "waterboarded" Jamal Hijazi, a Syrian refugee of similar age. In truth, Bailey had thrown a cup of water at Jamal in response to Jamal's threat to rape Bailey's sisters. Bailey was threatened, demonized, and forced to go into hiding, while Jamal received large donations and celebrity support. The documentary reveals how the truth was suppressed and how Tommy Robinson himself was charged with libel for reporting on what really happened.

Forbes: There’s Something Fishy About ‘The Little Mermaid’ Review Scores — Update — The Critics Must Be Crazy
There’s Something Fishy About ‘The Little Mermaid’ Review Scores — Update — The Critics Must Be Crazy
There is a large discrepancy between the critic score (67%) and audience score (95%) on Rotten Tomatoes for the live-action remake of The Little Mermaid, with Metacritic showing an opposite trend. The high audience score may be due to controversy over the movie's changes and Disney fatigue, leading many to form strong opinions. However, the author argues that the audience score seems inflated beyond what is realistic, and that the film likely has a range of positive and negative reviews. Ultimately, the author notes that the live-action remake may lose some of the magic of the original animated version, which many people still prefer.

In a review of the live-action remake of The Little Mermaid, the author expresses surprise at how much they enjoyed the film, which they expected to be a soulless cash grab from Disney. The author praises the lead actress's performance and singing, the chemistry between the leads, and the delightful remakes of old songs. However, the author notes that some new songs are forgettable, and expresses dislike for the attempt to make the aquatic creatures look "realistic." Overall, the author sees The Little Mermaid as the best of Disney's live-action remakes so far, and recommends seeing it on the big screen.

Front Page Magazine: The CEO Behind Target’s Corporate Culture War
The CEO Behind Target’s Corporate Culture War
Target faces over $1 billion in losses due to shoplifting, which has put significant pressure on its financial results. CEO Brian Cornell doubled down on the company's Racial Equity Action and Change strategy, committing to racial quotas and diversity and inclusion training for employees. However, this approach has led to a rise in violent incidents, including stabbings and shootings at Target stores. Target's decision to prioritize woke politics over its customers and shareholders has been disastrous, generating repeated boycotts and causing a breakdown in trust both inside and outside the business. Target's largest shareholders, including ESG stalwarts Vanguard and BlackRock, may continue subsidizing the company's social justice policies unless Target feels a great deal of pain.
