Townhall: Trump Vs. DeSantis
DeSantis and Trump supporters argue over who would win in a head-to-head poll, but the real question is DeSantis' motive for running. Trump is driven to undo Biden's damage and finish what he started, while DeSantis' timing may be influenced by shadow advisors who want a Republican win without Trump. Despite DeSantis' potential, Trump's unmovable support makes him the likely nominee and he has a history of making peace with former rivals. Both candidates have achieved more in their terms than expected, but the fisticuffs are just prepping for the corrupt process of the general election.
Flag And Cross: GOP Governor Cozies Up with 'The View', Claims Trump Will Not Win Nomination in 2024
New Hampshire's Republican Governor, Chris Sununu, appeared on "The View" and tried to play the "centrist" Republican by agreeing with the liberal hosts on several issues. Sununu also criticized President Trump, saying he cannot win in 2024, and claimed that a Republican talking about a national abortion ban is screwing the party over, altogether. He also did not correct false claims made by the hosts and seemed to be ceding ground to the far left by imagining that parents voting in a school board election will fix everything. Overall, Sununu's appearance on the show does not seem to have played well with conservative voters.

Townhall: Why Has the Left Chosen Trans Guys Over Real Women?
Leftist feminists are not defending biological women's rights in the face of the transgender movement. Trans individuals are being allowed to compete in women's sports, dominating and defeating biological women. Yet leftist feminists remain silent or support the farce. This is because the Left has a smartphone-like ideology, where one must conform to all of its intersecting opinions to be accepted. Any dissent will result in being ostracized or canceled. Therefore, feminists have chosen to support the trans movement over biological women.
Fox News: Kevin O'Leary: Target's Pride merch decision was a 'huge mistake' after losing billions in market value
Entrepreneur Kevin O’Leary criticized Target's marketing decision to release a Pride merchandising line, stating that it was a "huge mistake," and that companies like Bud Light and Target "cannot be partisan in any way" when selling consumer goods and services. Bud Light's sales have been rapidly falling after teaming up with transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney. Furthermore, Target lost around $28 billion in market value because of this issue. Some Target stores were even told to move LGBTQ Pride merchandise into store sections "a third the size" after customer "outrage." O'Leary warned that Chip and Joanna Gaines, who have a home and kitchen line at Target, "can't win" by getting involved in this fight, and their sales would drop 30%.

National Review: Debt-Ceiling Deal Reached Days Before Default Deadline
President Biden and Speaker McCarthy have reached an agreement, in principle, to raise the debt ceiling for two years, potentially avoiding an economic crisis. The agreement includes historic reductions in spending, a 1% cap on non-defense related discretionary spending until 2025, and rescinding nearly $2 billion allocated to the IRS. The deal also includes a $29 billion clawback of unused pandemic funds and new time limits attached to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). Both Biden and McCarthy have praised the deal, however, some Republicans and Democrats have criticized compromises on important issues.

The New American: Why We Must Make Public Art Great Again
The art we expose to society affects our mindset, mood, and behavior. A healthy society produces beautiful and uplifting art, and in turn, great art inspires and uplifts society. The wealthy throughout history were patrons of the arts to cultivate a mindset of success, regalness, and sophistication. We must introduce greatness into our people's lives to restore the greatness of our nation, adorning communities with well-made art and attractive architecture.

The Blaze: Iowa law bans lessons on sexual topics aimed at young students, beefs up parental rights
Iowa Governor Reynolds approved a bill that prohibits schooling on gender identity and sexuality for K through 6th graders. The bill also requires the removal of sex acts material in Iowa school libraries. Opponents of Senate File 496 caution that the bill is "vague," and it will incentivize librarians and school administrators to remove books proactively. The bill outlines consequences for school districts or staff who violate its provisions. The state will issue a written warning for the first offense, while subsequent offenses could merit disciplinary action after hearing.

The Epoch Times: As Elizabeth Holmes Heads to Prison for Fraud, Many Puzzle Over Her Motives
Elizabeth Holmes, founder of Theranos, is set to begin her 11-year prison sentence. Despite building a company with nearly $1 billion in funding from investors like Rupert Murdoch, Holmes' once $4.5 billion stake in Theranos dwindled to fraud and conspiracy convictions. Accused of peddling a technology that did not work as promised, Holmes will pay a $452 million restitution bill and be separated from her two children. Her supporters claim that she was targeted by federal prosecutors for practicing self-promotion tactics commonplace in Silicon Valley. Others believe that Holmes, once remembered as a symbol of the hyperbole saturating start-up culture, will go down as Silicon Valley’s Icarus.

Forbes: HBO Says The Last Of Us Season 2’s Release Date Isn’t Until 2025
The Last of Us season 2 faces a long wait due to the ongoing Writers Strike, according to HBO’s head of drama Francesca Orsi. She stated that The Last of Us is not scheduled for delivery until “some time in 2025,” and work on the show has ceased due to the strike. The series will adapt the second game, but writer Craig Mazin has confirmed that the size of the game will require multiple seasons for a complete adaptation.
The long wait for The Last of Us season 2 could be two and a half years, or even longer. With the possibility of The Last of Us Part III releasing around the time of season 3, a 2-2.5 year wait between seasons could work in alignment with this schedule. However, there is still a long way to go in terms of production, with casting possibly unfinished due to the strike. There are also rumors that development for TLOU Factions multiplayer has been scaled back or even cancelled, freeing up more staff for other projects.
