Forbes: Biden’s Green New Regulatory Agenda Runs Afoul Of The Supreme Court
Biden’s Green New Regulatory Agenda Runs Afoul Of The Supreme Court
The Supreme Court has ruled that the EPA overstepped its authority under the Clean Water Act by declaring seasonal ponds on the Sackett family's property as navigable water. Critics of the decision, including President Biden, characterized it as an "attack" on the EPA. The decision overturns the new WOTUS regulation that EPA had finalized in January and may presage a reversal of the Chevron deference, a legal doctrine crucial for the growth of the administrative state. This has implications for Biden's attempt to dramatically expand the federal government's regulatory reach into every facet of citizens' daily lives.

Frontline report: Ukraine escalates precision strikes on Russian bases, drone attacks on Russia
Ukraine launches daily precision missile strikes on Russian bases in occupied Ukraine, intensifying ahead of their counteroffensive. Fox News: 3 things I want my children to know this Memorial Day
3 things I want my children to know this Memorial Day
On Memorial Day we honor the sacrifices made by veterans for our freedom. We often forget the cost, both for those who made it home and those who didn't. Veterans like Darrel "Shifty" Powers, part of the Band of Brothers who fought in World War II, gave years of their youth, lost friends, and suffered physical and mental scars for our liberty. Let us not forget the price they paid.

Fox News: Russia pummels Kyiv with waves of explosive drones ahead of Ukrainian founding holiday
Russia pummels Kyiv with waves of explosive drones ahead of Ukrainian founding holiday
Russian forces launched a drone attack on Kyiv, Ukraine's capital, on the eve of the city's founding anniversary, using Iranian-made Kamikaze drones. Ukrainian officials said air defences shot down 52 of the 54 drones used. The assault lasted for five hours, with air raid sirens blaring intermittently through the night. Two people died during the attack.

Ukraine deployed US-made Patriot missile systems to help ward off Russian missile and drone attacks. The systems proved highly effective, with the vast majority of explosives from Russian drone strikes being shot down mid-air. However, Russia has resorted to the deployment of Soviet-era bombs with navigation systems and wings, which remain airborne for up to a minute and evade air defences. Ukraine has called on Western allies to provide F-16 fighter jets to help keep their airspace clear and maintain defence against long-range attacks.

Fox News: Tank operator highlights one of the 'major milestones' in US armory history
Tank operator highlights one of the 'major milestones' in US armory history
The M114 US Howitzer designed during World War II was a milestone in US armory history and the largest on the battlefield, says tank and heavy weapons operator Richard Robl in Fox Nation's "Weapons of War" series. It was instrumental in battles like Iwo Jima, where it provided indirect fire support, and is still in active duty in several countries. Compagno, the host of "Weapons of War," adds that it is not just a weapon but a story of teamwork. The series delves into five weapons that shaped American history, from the Revolutionary War to the modern age, and aims to honor the men and women who operated these weapons and fought to preserve American freedom.

The Federalist Papers: Bible Passage Hidden for 1,500 Years Found With New Tech - Huge Proof It Really Is God's Word
Bible Passage Hidden for 1,500 Years Found With New Tech - Huge Proof It Really Is God's Word
Advanced screening technology has helped reveal the original outlines of words erased in an ancient Palestinian scribe's manuscript containing a translation of the Gospels from the 3rd century. Considered as yet another translation of a Biblical excerpt attesting to the high historical accuracy of Bibles being distributed today, the discovery was made by Grigory Kessel of the Austrian Academy of Sciences, using ultraviolet photography, and is published in the journal New Testament Studies. The discovery confirms that the Bible has been accurately translated throughout centuries of human history.

‘Batman’ star Burt Ward recalls losing his pal Adam West suddenly to leukemia: ‘It wasn’t supposed to happen’
Adam West, who starred as the Caped Crusader in the 1960s TV series "Batman," died in June 2017 after a short battle with leukemia at the age of 88. His co-star and friend Burt Ward was shaken by the news. They had made an appearance together just three weeks before. The 77-year-old said West was in good spirits back then, but he knew the actor was not feeling well. Ward remembered West as “the funniest, nicest guy” and the “closest person in age” on set. Ward was just 20 years old when he signed up for the role of a lifetime as Robin, The Boy Wonder.

At Pentecost, the Holy Spirit manifests in each believer in a 'radically unique way,' says faith leader
Pentecost marks end of 50-day celebration after Christ's resurrection, commemorating Holy Spirit's descent on apostles. The holiday's name literally translates to 50 days, states South Carolina Priest, Father Jeffrey Kirby. Holy Spirit is received differently by each, helping them become unique tools for God's kingdom. Individuals are free with the Spirit; the Holy Spirit leads individuals to self-discovery and self-donation: acts that benefit the common good.

Forbes: There’s Something Fishy About ‘The Little Mermaid’ Audience Review Scores On Rotten Tomatoes
There’s Something Fishy About ‘The Little Mermaid’ Audience Review Scores On Rotten Tomatoes
The Little Mermaid remake is receiving significantly higher audience scores than critic scores on Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic. While this may be due to controversy surrounding race-swapping and "wokeness," the scores seem inflated beyond what is realistic. There is a wide range of reactions from wild praise to "meh, it was okay" to "this was hot garbage." The live-action remakes of Disney classics often lose some of the magic of the original animated versions.
