National Review: Third Thoughts on James Burnham
A group of intellectuals, spanning from far-right to progressive, have recently rediscovered James Burnham's ideas. Burnham, one of National Review's founding editors, had been a communist before developing into a hawkish, patriotic conservative thinker. The "New Right," a hazily defined offshoot of conservatism, is particularly drawn to Burnham's early books, which display his affinity for Machiavelli's pragmatism. However, some argue that the New Right misinterprets Burnham, lacking his moral dimension and patriotism as they blend various fringe ideas from both the radical left and right into a dissident coalition.

American Thinker: Transgenderism and its War on Truth
The idea that sex (or “gender”) is not binary and rather “a spectrum” is absurd, as it abandons absolute truth. Transgenderism stems from this abandonment and is a battle in the war on truth. It is a spiritual war and Satan is winning many battles.
The modern leftist agenda is a war on truth and seeks to replace the truth with their own ideology. Many states and corporations are pushing the trans agenda, enshrining into law the “right” to declare oneself the opposite sex. This tacitly denies the existence of external reality and is terrifying to the left as it conflicts with the ultimate source of all value judgements.

The Epoch Times: Baby Boomers Push Nation's Median Age to Almost 39 as Fewer Children Are Born
The U.S. population is aging, with adults 65 or older growing by more than a third from 2010 to 2020. The share of children under 5 has declined due to women delaying having babies to focus on education and careers. This has led to growing concern about the public health needs of an aging population, as 90 percent of adults over 65 experience one or more chronic conditions. Additionally, there are important social and economic consequences, including the ability of working-age adults to support older people through Social Security and Medicare contributions. The Census Bureau calculates a dependency ratio, defined as the number of children plus the number of seniors per 100 working-age people. While the dependency ratio decreased for children from 2010 to 2020, it increased for seniors by 6.8 people. At the top end of the age spectrum, the number of people over 100 increased by half from 2010 to 2020.

National Review: Tim Keller: From Head to Heart
New York City icon and Christian apologetics giant Timothy Keller passed away, leaving behind a devoted following and a legacy of thought-provoking intellectualism. His work, such as "Making Sense of God: An Invitation to the Skeptical" and "The Reason for God: Belief in an Age of Skepticism," captured the hearts of urbanites with his rational, truthful, and straight-up approach to religion. Despite battling pancreatic cancer, Keller continued to teach and engage with his followers until the end. He leaves behind a message of worldly encounters with God, and a hope that sustained him in life and beyond.

American Thinker: ‘Earth’s Holocaust,’ a Global Bonfire to Reckon With
In "Earth's Holocaust," the "smartest" people throw all of humanity's achievements into a giant bonfire to start anew. Those throwing objects into the fire become increasingly radical, with even marriage certificates and literary works being tossed, until someone suggests burning the human heart itself. This Nathaniel Hawthorne story eerily parallels today's cancel culture.
American Thinker: How Modernism Is Fascism
A presentation on Modernism and its links to fascism and communism was met with hostility by a left-wing professor at UNC-Chapel Hill. The presenter argued that Modernism is a reactionary, anti-modern cultural movement and provided evidence that figures such as Hitler and Mao were modernists in their tendencies. The presenter challenged participants to find one example of a modernist artist whose sympathies were democratic, religious, humanistic, and freedom-loving.

The Epoch Times: The Essential Guide to Giardiasis: Symptoms, Causes, Treatments, and Natural Approaches
Giardia is a waterborne parasite that causes diarrheal infections called giardiasis. It grows in the small intestines of humans and other vertebrates. Symptoms include diarrhea, malabsorption, and weight loss. Giardiasis is most often acute, developing over three weeks. However, it could also be asymptomatic and may be chronic or acute. It is acquired through a fecal-oral route. People most at risk are young children, international travelers, hikers, and people with a chronic GI condition. The best way to prevent giardiasis is with behavior modification, such as washing your hands after swimming in natural or manmade bodies of water.

National Review: New ‘Reparations Math’ Is Coming to a Public School Near You
The National Education Association (NEA) and Pulitzer Center are partnering to introduce "reparations math" and "Understanding the Racial Wealth Gap" lesson plans for K-12 teachers nationwide. The new plans will focus on reparations for descendants of enslaved Africans in the United States and will cover a "3-4 week tour through pro-reparations programming." The curriculum is embedded in students' Common Core Math and English Language Arts, and is aimed at discouraging future generations from believing in systemic racism. The Pulitzer Center has already begun to pilot the program and will use the same delivery strategy deployed with the original 1619 Project curriculum materials.
