The Epoch Times: Illegal Immigrant Charged With Killing Florida Officer
An illegal alien from Guatemala, Vergilio Aguilar Mendez, has been charged with the murder of a police officer, Sergeant Michael Kunovich, in Florida. Mendez resisted arrest and attempted to take the officer's Taser before being apprehended. After confined to custody, Kunovich collapsed and was later pronounced dead. Since being identified as illegal, Mendez could now face deportation instead of a trial.

Marjorie Taylor Greene seeks to impeach President Biden due to his refusal to enforce immigration laws and maintain operational control.

Fox News: Jeffries shuts down McCarthy claim that Dems are 'upset' over debt deal: 'Have not been able to review'
House Minority Leader Jeffries denies complaining about Democrats getting nothing in the debt deal, as claimed by House Speaker McCarthy. Jeffries says he had "no idea" what McCarthy was talking about. The bill will be up for a vote in the House on Wednesday.

Microsoft and U.S. government agencies have issued an alert about a Chinese state-sponsored hacker named Volt Typhoon targeting American critical infrastructure. The Microsoft advisory warns that Volt Typhoon is developing the ability to disrupt critical communications infrastructure between the U.S. and Asia during future crises. The hacker has been targeting organizations in the U.S., including Guam, and has been operating since 2021. The advisory recommends applying zero trust principles and the highest level of authentication and access controls possible to protect small networks, as they are the most vulnerable.

Forbes: Buy Ford Motor, Says Bullseye Brief
Ford Motor Company aims to be the top American producer in the electric vehicle market by 2026. Analyst Adam Johnson predicts that buying Ford stock (F) is a smart move based on the company's strength in this market, and with his price target of $23, this would represent a doubling from current prices. Johnson also notes that despite the cyclical nature of the auto business, there doesn't appear to be a recession on the horizon and predicts total auto sales will rise to 18 million. He believes the combination of these factors will help lift Ford's profits and in turn, its stock price.

Gataway Couple: Campground Operators in This State Could Receive Legal Immunity From Lawsuits
Florida lawmakers are considering two bills that aim to provide legal immunity to private campground operators in the event of injury or death from camping-related activities. The Private Campground Liability bills offer protection to campground owners and certain employees if their operators comply with specific requirements, such as providing notice of inherent risks and displaying warning signs. The bills do not grant true legal immunity; campgrounds can still be held accountable for negligence in maintaining safety. Injuries are possible while camping, so caution, proper preparation, and research of campgrounds are necessary.
