The Blaze: US Marshals locate 225 missing children, including sex trafficking victims, across the nation in 'Operation We Will Find You'
"Operation We Will Find You" by the U.S. Marshals Service resulted in the recovery of 169 children and the safe location of 59 others, with 28 cases referred to the law enforcement agencies. Among the 225 total missing children recovered during the 10-week operation, 10 were located in Mexico and the youngest was just six months old. The operation targeted areas with high numbers of critically missing children that were victims of child sex trafficking, child exploitation, sexual abuse, physical abuse, and medical or mental health conditions.
The Epoch Times: 'Backdoor Deal' Allows 'Illegal' Immigrants to Enter US Legally, Border Patrol Union Leader Says
Illegal immigrants are being deported to Mexico and encouraged to voluntarily withdraw their asylum claims, according to a U.S. Border Patrol union leader. Migrants who enter the United States illegally in Yuma, Arizona, are being bused to the San Ysidro and Otay Mesa ports of entry in San Diego County, from where they are returned to Mexico but re-enter the United States via "humanitarian parole" on the CBP One mobile phone app. Critics argue that the system circumvents Title 8 regulations and allows illegal immigrants to enter the country legally.

The Epoch Times: Rights Group: Uyghur Student Missing in Hong Kong After Texting That He Was Interrogated by Police
A Uyghur student, Abuduwaili Abudureheman, has been missing in Hong Kong for over two weeks and is feared to have been detained and interrogated by Chinese authorities after arriving from South Korea. The Hong Kong government has yet to comment on his disappearance. Amnesty International report that many Uyghurs travelling overseas are under surveillance due to being on Chinese watchlists, and are thus regarded as 'at grave risk of torture based on their ethnicity and religion.' The human rights group has called on Hong Kong authorities to reveal Abudureheman's whereabouts. The Chinese regime is accused by the United Nations of holding over one million Uyghurs, and members of related Muslim ethnic groups, in camps where torture and sexual assaults are alleged to take place.

IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva said that the US economy's inflation is "way too high" and that interest rates around 5.25 to 5.5% will be needed to get inflation on track. She also stated that the Fed will have to keep interest rates higher for longer, all the way into 2024. The foundation for projected growth in the economy from fourth quarter-to-fourth quarter in '23 was laid out, but the stubbornly high inflation remains a challenge.

The Epoch Times: Pair Charged as $60 Million in Cocaine Found at Sydney Port
Two Greek men have been charged with entering enclosed lands, assault and malicious damage after police allegedly found $60m of cocaine in a shipping container. The container was located in a Sydney logistics company and the two men were arrested by police and charged. Australian Border Force discovered approximately 120kg of cocaine, valued at $60m, in the walls of a container on Thursday. The drugs had been placed in the container by a local organised crime group and the Greeks had travelled from Athens to retrieve them on instruction.

Fox News: Churchill Downs horse death toll reaches 12
A horse named Kimberley Dream was euthanized at Churchill Downs after suffering an "inoperable ligament rupture to her left front leg" during her 61st race. This comes after seven horses died in the time period leading up to the Kentucky Derby, with five more dying since then. Churchill Downs has condemned these deaths and is working to find ways to reduce the risk of injury and death on their property. However, animal rights group PETA has called for the banning of trainer Bob Baffert, who returned from suspension only to have one of his horses die at the Preakness Stakes undercard.

The incident has devastated the community, and Central Penn College plans to honor Mercado-Ocasio by retiring his number 25 and carrying his jersey to every game next year.
