Ford CEO Jim Farley says retailers need to place fast chargers in front of their stores to build up the electric vehicle charging infrastructure to be as convenient as gas-powered fueling. The process will require a change in building standards and will take five to ten years, Farley said. Most people on the commercial side will use depot charging, and this is easier to solve than the retail side issue, Farley added.

The Epoch Times: Woman in SUV Killed by Cement Falling From Overturned Truck on I-805 in San Diego
A woman in her 70s died after construction materials fell on her SUV when a pickup truck turned over on a freeway bridge in San Diego on May 26. The driver of the truck lost control as he left southbound Interstate 805 onto eastbound SR-52, causing the pickup to crash and dump its cargo, part of which fell off the connector. Cement in at least one bag then crashed through the windshield of the Mercedes-Benz SUV, killing the woman at the scene. The drivers of the SUV and the truck were not hurt. Intoxication was not believed to have been a factor in the accident.
