American Thinker: CBS News suddenly turns against Biden – a sign that he is being pressured to drop his re-election plans?
CBS News suddenly turns against Biden – a sign that he is being pressured to drop his re-election plans?
CBS News aired an interview with an IRS whistleblower who claims there was preferential treatment during a federal investigation tied to Hunter Biden's tax crimes. The media blockade of the Biden family's financial ties to foreign powers has broken, similar to CBS's Walter Cronkite's breaking with Lyndon B. Johnson's stance on the Vietnam War. This could signal trouble for Biden's re-election campaign, as it appears he's been on the take from these foreign powers. There are already rumors of potential candidates to replace him.

Liberty Nation: Ad Wars: Trump Eviscerates DeSantis
Ad Wars: Trump Eviscerates DeSantis
Donald Trump releases a 60-second ad for his 2024 presidential campaign, featuring Ron DeSantis as a prominent establishment figure working against him. The ad highlights Trump's policy accomplishments and presents him as the real deal, while juxtaposing him with his acolyte-turned-rival DeSantis, who is pictured sitting next to Joe Biden. The ad capitalizes on Trump's undeniable strength, which offsets the sharp edges of his temperament. It also solidifies his legacy, which is on the line in what will likely be his final run for the presidency.

DeSantis, who promotes his own image as a winner, faces a difficult challenge as he tries to unseat Trump. The former president effectively depicts him as a neoconservative imposter in league with the establishment, which is disingenuous but effective. DeSantis needs to fight fire with fire and survive, in order to ultimately thrive. Otherwise, he risks being labeled a loser by his growing list of enemies, along with Trump, whose enemies have repeatedly pointed to his three-election losing streak. Trump and DeSantis will do almost anything to avoid this label.

American Thinker: Reuters restores link to 2007 story on Target Che Guevara CD boycott
Reuters restores link to 2007 story on Target Che Guevara CD boycott
Target has been in the news recently due to a boycott over "tuck swimsuits" and Satanic designers, but this is not the first time Target has offended its customers. In 2006, the retailer sold Che Guevara CD cases which was followed by an editorial at Investor's Business Daily and a story on The Wall Street Journal. Target apologized for the merchandise which was quickly pulled from shelves. Reuters also covered the story, but the link to their article is now mysteriously broken. After Monica Crowley contacted Reuters to restore the link, she received a vague response. However, Reuters recently restored the link.

Red State: Dodgers Try to Stop the Bleeding, Announce 'Christian Family and Faith Day' to Pander to Angry Catholics
Dodgers Try to Stop the Bleeding, Announce 'Christian Family and Faith Day' to Pander to Angry Catholics
The Los Angeles Dodgers faced backlash from their fans, including Catholics, for inviting and then disinviting, and comically reinviting the anti-Catholic LGBTQIA+ activist group, Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, to accept a community hero award on Pride Night. The group is known for mocking the Church and simulating sodomy while dressed as nuns. Some fans, including RedState Managing Editor and Dodgers fan Jennifer Van Laar, have called for a boycott of the team. The Dodgers are attempting to soothe the outrage by hosting a Christian Faith and Family Day in July, but the move seems like pandering to Catholics, emphasizing their offense at the original invitation.

Fox News: Luxury lipstick samples can be made into whole lipsticks at home for fraction of the price, viral video shows
Luxury lipstick samples can be made into whole lipsticks at home for fraction of the price, viral video shows
Cosmetics Repair, an anonymous cosmetics repairer and content creator on social media, has gone viral for demonstrating that designer lipstick samples can transform into a whole lipstick for a fraction of the retail price, showing the DIY process on a Facebook Reel. Using a dozen Tom Ford color cards, each with three samples in varying pink-red shades, the video shows how to separate the lipstick by color and place them in a sanitized solution before melting them down on a temperature-controlled hot plate and pouring each color into a lipstick mold. The final product looks identical to a Tom Ford lipstick tube that retails for around $58 each.

Celtic grave found with 2,300-year-old scissors and 'folded' sword during excavation in Germany
A tomb was found in Munich by ordinance disposal officers during a construction project for explosive devices. Inside, officers found a Celtic grave site containing various metal artifacts, including a pair of ancient left-handed sheers, a folded sword, the remnants of a shield, a spear tip, a razor blade, a belt chain, and a fibula clasp. The quality of craftsmanship is impressive, and the scissors themselves are still "in mint condition," indicating a person with special social status was buried there. Experts believe the tomb contained a male and female, and was intended to prevent looting.

The Epoch Times: James Clerk Maxwell: The Curious Mind of the Father of Modern Physics
James Clerk Maxwell: The Curious Mind of the Father of Modern Physics
James Clerk Maxwell, a genius for physics, developed equations of ovals at the age of 14 and went on to make major discoveries in his field. He theorized that Saturn's rings consisted of solid particles, and also created the first color photograph using red, green and blue filters. Maxwell proved that electric and magnetic forces were not separate, but contributed to the same electromagnetic force and published "A Treatise on Electricity and Magnetism" in 1873, paving the way for several scientific discoveries in physics. His work was even used by Albert Einstein to create the theory of relativity.

Liberty Nation: Target Prepares for ‘Bud Lighting’ by Hiding Pride Merchandise
Target Prepares for ‘Bud Lighting’ by Hiding Pride Merchandise
Amid Bud Lighting, Target has updated its Pride Month displays and moved them away from entrances and into more obscure areas after employees experienced “hate-inspired violence.” Bud Lighting is a strategy to boycott products that are seen as too woke. Anheuser-Busch hired a social influencer to push the Bud Light brand toward the LGBTQ+ community, resulting in a significant loss of millions. Target claims it wants to protect employees from the hate but is understood to worry that not everyone buys into gay pride merchandise. Adidas and North Face are losing sales too, but they have not altered their campaign strategy.
