Fox News: RFK Jr. remains thorn in Biden's side as 2024 polls show Kennedy holding onto sizable chunk of Dem voters
RFK Jr. remains thorn in Biden's side as 2024 polls show Kennedy holding onto sizable chunk of Dem voters
Democratic voters are showing lackluster support for US President Biden's re-election campaign in 2024, with Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. commanding 16% of the primary vote, according to the most recent Fox News Poll. Biden maintains support from 62% of Democratic primary voters since April. Although Kennedy's polling numbers have lowered compared to April, he still poses a threat to Biden's re-election efforts.

Kennedy could potentially mount an independent campaign that could damage Biden's re-election effort if he continues gaining momentum and keeps up his media push. Williamson dropping out of the race and the majority of her supporters falling into Kennedy's camp could make him a presidential spoiler. Biden's political bleeding serves as a warning to his campaign that his re-election is not as buttoned-up as the campaign may believe it to be.

HOT TALK: House Democrat Whip Rains Fire on Evil People-Hating Republicans on NPR
NPR's Michel Martin interviewed House Minority Whip Katharine Clark and portrayed Republicans as evil extremists holding the American people hostage, leading with the Pelosi playbook. Martin failed to challenge Clark's hot rhetoric. Clark praised Democrats for being united and supposedly fighting for families at home. She claimed that the GOP is committed to hurting American families by proposing cuts to Medicaid and neglecting kids and parents. Clark also implied that Republicans don't believe in clean air and water.

The Epoch Times: Congressional Witness Calls Red State Election Reforms ‘Voter Suppression’
Congressional Witness Calls Red State Election Reforms ‘Voter Suppression’
The NAACP testified before a Congressional subcommittee that since the 2020 election 24 states had enacted 45 laws that "roll back voting rights." The NAACP attorney Deuel Ross blamed Republicans for using "false concerns" of voter fraud to justify the barriers to the ballot and even as a pretext for violence like Jan 6 insurrection. The panel lacked clarity on how recent voter turnout records were generated despite alleged "voter suppression" laws. Everyone agrees that the peaceful transfer of power rests on voter confidence. Concerns were raised about the chain of custody for absentee ballots as well as mail-in ballots. Thor Hearne, a member of the 2005 Carter-Baker Commission, testified that absentee and mail-in ballots were a significant source of vote fraud. Hearne urged the need for voter ID laws, the prohibition of ballot harvesting, and up-to-date, accurate voter registration rolls for the integrity and fairness of the elections.

The Epoch Times: California mom reclaims daughter from clutches of trans agenda pushed in middle school—here's how
California mom reclaims daughter from clutches of trans agenda pushed in middle school—here's how
: Erin Friday, a California mother, discovered her eleven-year-old daughter had been swept up in gender ideology after being introduced to it in school. Friday's daughter was part of a group of girls who selected labels such as 'cis' and 'pansexual' to describe themselves. Girls in her daughter's Girl Scout troupe came out as transgender, while voice-deepening and breast-binding became common. Friday discovered that her daughter's school had invited a group called Health-Connected to provide sex education. Among the topics covered were the genderbreadman cartoon and the idea that individuals can have gender misalignments. The subject dominated the five-hour session.

American Thinker: NO to Susie Gelman as US Ambassador to Israel
NO to Susie Gelman as US Ambassador to Israel
Susie Gelman is not fit to be the US Ambassador to Israel due to her anti-Israel ideologies and opposition to the current government. Gelman has expressed support for left-wing radical policies and has even referred to Israeli Independence Day as "Nakba Day." Her position as chair of the Israel Policy Forum has led her to work against the best interests of Israel and undermine the current leadership. Gelman's potential appointment would be seen as an unfriendly act towards Israel and may lead to diplomatic war.

National Review: America’s Other Debt Crisis
America’s Other Debt Crisis
American private debt crisis is almost as severe as the federal debt; household debt at record high in hard-dollar amounts, including credit-card, mortgage, auto-loan, and student-loan debt. Private debt in the US is not just a mathematics problem, it stems from a culture that has become hooked on debt: Americans have not always been so cavalier about consumer credit and saving.

National Review: The Corner: Another Troubling Obamacare Side Effect
The Corner: Another Troubling Obamacare Side Effect
Obamacare's promise of accessible healthcare may have fallen short, as consumers experience a sharp rise in health insurance claim denials. Although the law required insurers to cover pre-existing conditions, some insurance companies are now denying medical claims outright, with denial rates averaging at 17% and rising to almost 80% for some carriers. The use of automated systems in claim denials is also a cause behind this trend. Critics argue that while the law has expanded insurance coverage, it has failed to tackle the problem of actual access to healthcare.

National Review: The DeSantis Doctrine
The DeSantis Doctrine
Florida governor Ron DeSantis announced his presidential candidacy during a Twitter Spaces event with Elon Musk. The dialogue revealed aspects of DeSantis’s primary strategy and clarified some of the animating ideas behind DeSantis’s corner of the New Right. DeSantis's attitude isn’t the “LOL nothing matters” or “burn it all down” mentality you find among some MAGA devotees. He isn’t anti-institutional. He wants to use the institution he controls — government — to rescue or defang other institutions consumed by wokeness. This Right is more willing to use state power than 20th-century conservatives, because it believes the state to be its only remaining leverage against decadent institutions.

Fox News: Killer whales may be attacking boats as revenge for injured matriarch: scientists
Killer whales may be attacking boats as revenge for injured matriarch: scientists
Orcas off the Spanish coast have attacked and sunk boats, leading experts to worry about copycat whales. The attacks are apparently acts of revenge after one whale, named White Gladis, suffered a critical injury. The whales approach boats from behind, striking the hull or rudder. The behavior has spread among the pod vertically and horizontally, with incidents also reported near Morocco.
