Washington Free Beacon: Want To Inspire 'Changemakers' in India To Fight Climate Change? Biden Could Fund Your Podcast.
Want To Inspire 'Changemakers' in India To Fight Climate Change? Biden Could Fund Your Podcast.
The Biden administration plans to spend $50,000 in taxpayer money to create a climate change podcast in India in an effort to encourage innovation and sustainability in the country. The podcast is set to reach at least 500,000 listeners in its first six months with each episode featuring an American expert on climate innovation and an Indian alum of a US government-funded program. This is not the first time the Biden administration has used taxpayer money to fund climate change initiatives abroad.

Criticism from congressional Republicans argues that taxpayer money should not be used to fund overseas climate activists and should instead be spent on American initiatives. The grant follows Biden's government-wide mandate to combat climate change with bold, progressive action. In addition to the Indian climate podcast, the US Agency for International Development has used taxpayer funds to help young climate activists with "eco-anxiety" and disabled people in Tajikistan become "climate leaders." The Biden administration's Department of Veterans Affairs has also released a climate plan to make buildings more "climate-resilient."

Fox News: Should Biden debate his primary challengers? Democratic strategists weigh in
Should Biden debate his primary challengers? Democratic strategists weigh in
Democratic primary voters are reportedly showing discontent with President Biden, as several polls, including one by Fox News, show Robert F. Kennedy Jr. with high support despite a lack of institutional backing. However, the DNC has already ruled out debates in response to the primary challengers. Critics are calling for primary debates, but Democratic strategists say there's no reason to have a debate as RFK Jr. and Williamson aren't "serious candidates," and holding primary debates would be completely unorthodox. Some have suggested that the DNC is stifling the discussion.

American Thinker: Poor Man's Dollar, Rich Man's Dollar
Poor Man's Dollar, Rich Man's Dollar
The US dollar index's recent strength does not benefit the struggling middle-class Americans as long as there are two separate dollars at play. The world of international currencies can be arcane and confusing, but what the "experts" aren't telling you is that a persistent weakening currency implies a country is undergoing inflation, which undermines the economy. As long as gas prices remain high due to Washington's petroleum policies, living costs will be high, which means inflation is alive and well for most Americans.

American Thinker: Is Marvel Comics Done Being Woke?
Is Marvel Comics Done Being Woke?
DC Comics has been losing writers, money, and fans due to its unrelenting woke agenda. The company has taken some of their time-tested heroes and remade them to be transgender, bi, gay, or in some other category of inclusivism. The new approach is to cower to the culture causing the backlash from their fan base. The younger generation don't have the nostalgia that guards them from the woke absurdity in the comic book universe, which is causing people to fall into depression or worse. The writers at DC are doing their best to normalize the chaos in our culture.

American Thinker: DIE Litmus Tests are Robbing the Campus
DIE Litmus Tests are Robbing the Campus
American universities have succumbed to leftist dogma, where open inquiry has been replaced by Critical Race Theory and social justice advocacy. Universities are now requiring prospective faculty to pledge their loyalty to the tenets of diversity, inclusion, and equity (DIE) as a litmus test for political affiliation, making it impossible for impressionable students to earn a degree without being steeped in leftist rhetoric and extreme ideas of race and gender. John D. Haltigan, a former assistant professor at the University of Toronto, is suing the University of California Santa Cruz (UCSC) in federal court for imposing DIE statements as a prerequisite for faculty job applicants in violation of First Amendment rights.

Alex Murdaugh's Longtime Friend Admits Helping to Steal $4 Million Wrongful Death Settlement
Alex Murdaugh's longtime friend, Cory Fleming, admitted to helping steal more than $4 million meant for the wrongful death settlement of Murdaugh's housekeeper. Fleming pleaded guilty to the conspiracy to commit wire fraud and faces up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine. Murdaugh convinced Satterfield's sons to hire Fleming, but they never received any money. This comes after federal prosecutors charged Murdaugh with 22 financial crimes, and he is currently serving a life sentence without parole in protective custody for the shooting deaths of his 22-year-old son and 52-year-old wife.

The Epoch Times: Soaring Airline Customer Complaints Push Global Legislators to Act
Soaring Airline Customer Complaints Push Global Legislators to Act
Complaints against airlines have surged as a result of COVID-19 restrictions lifting. Nikoleta Dodova is still waiting for compensation after her mother and niece's flight was cancelled. Official data from regulatory agencies in countries like Canada and Germany shows record numbers of disputes between travelers and airlines, driving fresh legislation and calls for tougher enforcement of existing rules to protect consumers. Airlines are calling for reform of the legislation, saying compensation has become increasingly burdensome and existing rules leave too much down to interpretation. Legislation is under review in Canada and the US government is writing new rules.
