Breitbart: Gaetz: Debt Deal with Work Rules, 'Any' Spending Cuts, and Energy Reform Is Likely 'Best Deal' We've Ever Gotten, Maybe Better than Trump
Gaetz says that if the debt ceiling deal includes work requirements, regulatory and energy reform, and spending cuts, it could be the best deal a Republican Speaker has gotten out of a Democratic President. He believes this would keep anyone from wanting McCarthy ousted as Speaker, though they may not vote for the deal. Gaetz predicts a coalition of about 80-100 Democrats and 140-160 Republicans could support the bill.
The New American: Why a Law Degree is an Indispensable Asset in Modern America
Conservatives need to recognize that politicians have always been tools of the highest bidder and that the media has never been objective. Lawfare has become a chief aspect of modern political warfare, and passing laws is only half the battle. What happens in the courts can entirely undo what was done in the legislatures and engaging in politics today calls for the ability to navigate the legal system effectively. Therefore, we need more honorable, constitutionalist lawyers and individuals knowledgeable about using lawfare to defend the Constitution and our freedoms.
PJ Media: WATCH: AOC Gets Heckled as NYC Town Hall Descends Into Chaos
At a recent town hall meeting in Queens, constituents expressed frustration with Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's stance on the debt ceiling, border crisis, and funding for Ukraine. Some attendees held signs calling for "America First" and vetted legal migrants only. A heckler shouted at AOC to stop funding the war in Ukraine and was removed from the room. AOC has been heckled at previous town halls and while some attendees were critical, many were supportive.
Newsbusters: MSNBC, Abrams Team Up To Spread Fake News On Poem-Banning 'Tyrants'
MSNBC's Nicolle Wallace teamed up with Stacey Abrams and Al Sharpton to decry a nonexistent story about Amanda Gorman's inauguration poem being banned from a school library. Despite the fact that it was only moved to the middle school section for vocabulary reasons, Wallace and Abrams used the opportunity to criticize Republicans for not denouncing the fake controversy, going as far as to call them "tyrants." Sharpton highlighted the importance of Gorman's poem in interpreting America's current state of affairs.

The Federalist Papers: Anheuser-Busch Hasn't Learned Its Lesson - Bud Light Appearing on 'Pride' Festival Rosters Across US
Despite a consumer boycott against Anheuser-Busch and Bud Light, the company is partnering with events celebrating June as "Pride" month. The National Pulse reports that the beer company is listed as a sponsor of Pride events in Ohio, Missouri, Los Angeles and Chicago. In a post supporting Chicago Pride, Anheuser-Busch notes its alliance with the LGBT movement, stating that "together, with our brands, we have a clear role to play in bringing real change and creating an inclusive and equitable world where we cherish and celebrate one another." Anheuser-Busch has donated more than $12 million to local events and national organisations supporting the LGBTQ+ community, including 24 years with GLAAD, a leading LGBT lobby group.
However, Anheuser-Busch's market value has dropped $15.7 billion since the Bud Light boycott began on 1 April, according to Investor's Business Daily. Jared Dinges, an analyst at JPMorgan Chase, reportedly said there is no reason to believe this will change soon and "a 12% to 13% volume decline on an annualised basis would be a reasonable assumption." Target has already felt the heat from consumers for its support of the LGBT community, USA Today reports, with some of its "Pride Month" merchandise moved to less visible locations. Brands may become more cautious with throwing their support behind certain issues or causes as a result of the experiences of Bud Light and Target, according to Tim Calkins, a marketing professor at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.

The body of Sister Wilhelmina Lancaster, a Benedictine nun, remains uncorrupted four years after her burial, leading to an investigation by the Catholic Church. Lancaster's body shows no signs of degradation and was not embalmed before burial. Her pristine condition is difficult to explain, according to a mortuary science professor. The uncorrupted body may be considered a sign of sainthood. The Bishop of the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph urged prayer and sobriety as the investigation begins. The founder of the Benedictine Sisters of Mary, Queen of the Apostles, Lancaster's body is on display for visitations by pilgrims. The order plans to enclose the body in a glass case for better viewing.

The Federalist Papers: High School Forced To Postpone Graduation Ceremony After Shocking Eligibility Discovery
Marlin, Texas postponed its May graduation ceremony until June because only five of the 33 seniors met the graduation requirements. The majority of the seniors had to be given an extension to fulfill their requirements, raising concerns about the fairness of the decision. The reasons for ineligibility range from attendance to low grades, and the school district plans to transition to a four-day school week to combat absenteeism. These decisions raise concerns about the educational standards and compromise the integrity of the education system.

Fox News: Soros-backed prosecutor's scandal-ridden tenure having ripple effects even after resignation
St. Louis is still dealing with the aftermath of Kim Gardner's controversial leadership as circuit attorney. Gardner, who had been funded by George Soros, was accused of mishandling cases and neglecting her duties, leading to her resignation earlier this month. Among the lawsuits Gardner's office abandoned was the murder of a high school student that claimed the law enforcement was in an outright denial of the accused's constitutional rights. The absence of the DNA evidence and the ballistic proof linking the killing to another murder went unmentioned for long periods.
