Fox News: Biden falsely claims he has 'four granddaughters,' again omitting Hunter's child with ex-stripper
President Biden excluded his fifth granddaughter, born out of wedlock to Hunter Biden and Lunden Roberts, from his remarks about his four granddaughters during an event for the LSU women's basketball team's national championship at the White House. He has repeatedly refused to acknowledge the four-year-old granddaughter, who he left out of a Christmas stocking display two years in a row and has never mentioned in public. The White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre has also declined to comment on the matter.
Hunter Biden and Lunden Roberts reportedly disagree over the surname of their daughter, with Roberts wanting her to be able to use the Biden name. However, Hunter is fighting the name change in court. Hunter met Roberts while she was working as a stripper at a club in Washington, D.C. while he was dating the widow of his late brother Beau. President Biden has never mentioned his granddaughter in public, despite repeatedly acknowledging his other grandchildren, causing controversy and leading to criticism.

The Epoch Times: Target Donated Millions of Dollars to Group That Promotes LGBT Activism in Schools
Activist group GLSEN, which has a partnership with Target, has been criticised for offering LGBT-affirming texts to US schools. GLSEN has said it has sent 46,000 books to 4,600 schools as part of its Rainbow Library project, which focuses on works with stories related to trans and non-binary individuals, as well as issues surrounding the LGBT+ community. GLSEN also encourages teachers to discuss sex and gender, including during maths lessons. Target has donated more than $2m to GLSEN over a decade, with this year’s contribution standing at $250,000. Target has recently removed some of its LGBT-affirming items from stores due to threats to employees.

The Epoch Times: Montana Becomes First State to Ban Drag Story Hour
Montana has banned "drag story hours" for children in public schools and libraries. The legislation prohibits minors from attending "sexually oriented shows" and defines a drag queen or king as “a male or female performer who adopts a flamboyant or parodic persona,” whilst defining “drag story hour” as “an event hosted by a drag queen or drag king who reads children’s books.” The new bill was signed into effect by Montana's Republican Gov. Greg Gianforte who believes it's "wildly inappropriate for little kids, especially preschoolers and kids in elementary school, to be exposed to sexualized content.” The Montana legislation is unique as it does not require a sexual element to be present, which could leave less room for legal challenges.
The Blaze: Dylan Mulvaney advertises K18 hair oil
K18 Hair continues to use transgender figure Dylan Mulvaney to promote its products, despite backlash faced by Anheuser-Busch after enlisting him to advertise Bud Light beer. Mulvaney posted a video on Instagram advertising hair oil and people sounded off in the comments, with some calling for a boycott of the brand. Mulvaney’s relationship with K18 predates the Bud Light controversy and he has previously advertised a Nike bra and leggings on Instagram. Some people have boycotted Bud Light since the brand partnered with Mulvaney to promote the beverage.

The Federalist Papers: 'Evil and Demonic': Ice Cube Reveals How He Feels About New Trend Happening in Music
Ice Cube has labeled the use of AI to produce music "demonic," warning that he believes AI will receive backlash from "organic people." He stressed that he feels musicians and artists should return to authenticity and recording with a real voice. He pointed out a distinction between the use of AI to "make a new song they never approved" versus sampling a recording that has already been approved, noting that the former is "evil and demonic." Critics of Ice Cube's opinion have noted that his own genre of West Coast rap has relied heavily on sampling, which sees previously recorded audio used in another piece of music.

German news outlet Handelsblatt acquired the files, which contained accident reports involving phantom braking or unintended acceleration. It appears that this was actually an existing policy at Tesla, with the reports labelled “for internal use only” and instructions that information may only be passed on “VERBALLY to the customer”. Despite growing concerns, Tesla consistently failed to address reports of dangerous issues.

The Epoch Times: Group Advocating ‘Race-Blind America’ Wants Medical Schools to Admit DEI’s Harm
Color Us United, a nonprofit advocating for a race-blind America, is stepping up its pushback against diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives in medical schools. Following a successful campaign that drove the University of North Carolina system to end its task force on social justice in medicine, CUU aims to persuade medical schools like Harvard and Johns Hopkins to admit the harm DEI causes in medicine. CUU President Kenny Xu wants to make the case that DEI's preferences and admissions criteria are lowering the quality of doctors and standards of care. The nonprofit will email UNC at Chapel Hill employees to ask about continued DEI training and expand its efforts against DEI to other top medical schools.
Earlier this year, UNC ended the task force, which was part of the public institution's DEI initiatives, due to CUU's campaign. CUU spent $100,000 on its five-month campaign, which focused on lobbying and advertisements aimed at influencing the UNC system's board of trustees, alumni, state legislature, and the general public. The nonprofit's efforts will also highlight the need for a race-blind approach to recruitment and hiring in medical schools, arguing that qualifications matter more than race.
