DeSantis Indicates He’s Willing To Potentially Pardon Trump, J6ers Early In First Term
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis said he would consider pardoning former President Donald Trump if the facts showed he was the victim of political weaponization. The comments were made during an interview on "The Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show" on Thursday, where DeSantis said he would assemble a team to review cases that potentially should be pardoned on day one of his administration. The remarks come as Trump faces two federal criminal investigations. DeSantis also said he would look to issue pardons during the early days of his administration, not toward the end, and that it would be done on a case-by-case basis.

Flag And Cross: Watch: Biden Gets Number of Granddaughters Wrong - He's Off by 20% and Doesn't Even Realize It
Watch: Biden Gets Number of Granddaughters Wrong - He's Off by 20% and Doesn't Even Realize It
President Biden forgot how many granddaughters he had while addressing the national champion LSU women's basketball team at the White House, stating he had only four instead of five. This is not the first time the President has forgotten about one of his grandchildren, and unfortunately, the one he keeps forgetting is the child of his son Hunter and a former stripper. This granddaughter is at the center of an ongoing court dispute over child support payments. Biden's apparent memory lapse adds to concerns about his mental condition and raises questions about his ability to run for re-election in 2024.

Biden's Coalition Cracks, Top Democrats Beginning to Doubt White House
House Democrats fear that President Biden may strike a deal that would be disastrous for them regarding the nation's debt limit. Many moderates believe that whatever Biden is cooking up will burn them in the next year's election. Democrats are also concerned that they are being left in the dark about the details of the negotiations, and they feel that Biden is botching the debt-ceiling fight.

Flag And Cross: A Shocking Number Reveals The Purpose Of American Celebrating Memorial Day
A Shocking Number Reveals The Purpose Of American Celebrating Memorial Day
Less than half of Americans know that Memorial Day honors fallen veterans who died in U.S. military service, with only 43% correctly identifying its true meaning. A survey conducted by OnePoll on behalf of the University of Phoenix found that 28% of respondents mistakenly believed it is a holiday honoring all US military veterans, while 36% were unsure about the difference between Memorial Day and Veterans Day. Furthermore, half of those surveyed were not aware of the term “Gold Star family,” which refers to a family who has lost a loved one in military service.

Despite the confusion about the holiday’s significance, 83% of respondents believed it is important to commemorate Memorial Day, with 87% saying more should be done to honor living and fallen veterans. Respondents were most likely to celebrate the day by flying a flag (43%), leaving flowers or a flag at a veteran’s grave (30%), or attending a local ceremony or patriotic event (30%). Meanwhile, 48% planned to thank a veteran with in-person gestures such as a handshake or hug, while 35% would thank them via text or social media.

Newly released documents show a potential assassination plot of Queen Elizabeth II during a 1980s visit to the US. The records reveal intelligence gathered by federal agents concerning a threat to the Queen's life made four decades ago. The tip about the anonymous caller came from San Francisco police, and mentioned two potential methods of attack against the Queen. The Queen's previous visits to the US occurred during The Troubles, and the intelligence reflects safety concerns about Irish nationalists, the IRA and sympathizers. Many worry that sentiments of Irish nationalism will continue into the post-Brexit era.
