PJ Media: The Morning Briefing: Black Lives Matter Going Broke Is the Feel-Good Story of the Week
The Morning Briefing: Black Lives Matter Going Broke Is the Feel-Good Story of the Week
Black Lives Matter leaders have reportedly been using the organization as a money-making scheme, as donations have not kept up with spending and the group is on the fast track to financial insolvency. This has led to an 88% drop in donations from last year, and BLM’s compliance and transparency issues have forced it to shut down its online fundraising streams early last year. However, the Democratic leadership facilitated this scam and refrains from scrutinizing BLM since powerful people in the U.S. government are providing coverage for it by practically conferring sainthood upon it. And BLM leaders will almost find a way to come up with an infusion of cash to save them from taking up immediate residence in the poor house, no matter how much they lose financially.

Meanwhile, Rozella is bothered by what she feels is a lack of seriousness among the members of her possum shaving cooperative. In other news, President Biden’s Twitter account revived the lie that George Floyd was murdered by suffocating to death due to police violence. Floyd’s death kicked off the Summer of Riotous Love and Mostly Peaceful Protesting, and Black Lives Matter played an integral part in all of the summertime mayhem. However, Black Lives Matter leaders have been accused of using their positions to enrich themselves instead of helping black Americans, and they may be running a large-scale grift.

Liberty Nation: Biden DHS is Funding a Broad Assault on Conservatives
Biden DHS is Funding a Broad Assault on Conservatives
The Biden administration is declaring war on conservatives and labeled them as Nazis, hate groups, and domestic terrorists. The Department of Homeland Security is providing grants to left-wing activist groups to dehumanize, demonize and silence conservatives, including the Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement and the Republican National Committee (RNC). The target list includes the National Rifle Association, Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN), Tea Party, and the Heritage Foundation to Fox News, Breitbart and the American Conservative Union Foundation. According to the report, the administration is striving to make America into a one-party system by eliminating political freedom in America.

The people who oppose or criticize the Biden administration's policies could be labeled as domestic terrorists. Anyone who supports Second Amendment rights, watch Fox News and read conservative news is potentially considered a Nazi. The ideology of fascism was created by Italian socialists and grew out of Marxist thinking, whereas conservatives and fascists have nothing in common. Biden administration-funded groups, through TVTP grants, aim to use disinformation campaigns to create a one-party system. The report states that the government has been weaponized against conservatives, and history has proved that if one side of the political divide believes the other side is so disagreeable, very bad things will follow.

Daily Wire: New York City Officials Freeze Accounts After Banks Fail To Submit Anti-Discrimination Plans
New York City Officials Freeze Accounts After Banks Fail To Submit Anti-Discrimination Plans
New York City officials restricted depositing of funds in Capital One and KeyBank after they failed to submit anti-discrimination plans. The city’s Comptroller, Brad Lander, stated that they did not comply with the mandated requirement to combat all forms of discrimination in their operations. Along with PNC Bank, International Finance Bank, and Wells Fargo, these banks were asked to detail ways in which they avoided discrimination in lending decisions, hiring, and other operations. While the other three banks had not complied either, they did not currently hold City funds.

Federal Housing Finance Agency Director Sandra Thompson recently revealed a policy that requires Americans to pay higher mortgage rates and monthly fees if they have robust credit scores, while those with lower credit scores and smaller down payments will receive better rates. Buyers with credit scores above 680, for instance, would pay an additional $40 each month on a home loan of $400,000, while homebuyers who make down payments between 15% and 20% will receive the largest fees. Republican state financial officials wrote in a letter to President Biden and Thompson, stating the move makes home purchases “significantly more expensive” for families with strong credit scores.

Lawsuit challenging Arkansas' 2021 US House map dismissed by 3-judge panel
Arkansas' 2021 U.S. House map lawsuit was dismissed by a three-judge panel after the opposition failed to prove that race motivated the Republican-led Legislature's redistricting plan. The redrawn map split thousands of Black voters out of the 2nd District and into the state’s 1st and 4th congressional districts. Opponents of the map have argued that the state Legislature diluted the influence of Black voters.

McCarthy Staying in DC to Fight for Debt Ceiling Agreement 'Worthy of American People' as Biden Heads Home
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy pledges to stay in Washington, D.C. "for as long as it takes" to negotiate a debt ceiling agreement. He seeks a deal that benefits the American people and puts an end to inflation and reckless spending. Negotiations between Democrats and Republicans have already gone on for three weeks, with both sides seeking a resolution before the June deadline. McCarthy assures the public that he will keep fighting and prevent a disastrous default. Fitch Ratings has revealed concerns over a potential credit downgrade for the US AAA credit.

10 lighthouses being given away, sold at auction by federal government in attempt to preserve the properties
The US government is giving away or auctioning 10 lighthouses that are no longer essential for navigation. The aim is to preserve the properties, most of which date back over a century, and are popular tourist attractions. GPS technology has made the lighthouses obsolete for navigation. Entities willing to maintain and preserve them and make them available for educational, recreational, or cultural purposes can apply for them, with six lighthouses being offered at no cost. The remaining four will be sold at auction.

The Federalist: Scott Atlas Heckled At College Commencement For Dealing Truths
Scott Atlas Heckled At College Commencement For Dealing Truths
The Covid-19 pandemic exposed the hypocrisy and false narratives of leftist elites, with misinformation on lockdowns, masks, and vaccines pushed despite dissent. Dr. Scott Atlas was booed during his commencement speech at New College of Florida for speaking the truth about the pandemic's mismanagement and encouraging unity, leadership with integrity, and defense of precious freedoms. Young people were subjected to constant media gaslighting that made them helpless introverts who lacked the capacity to cope with basic reality, and although an alternate commencement ceremony was held, it's essential to learn from the mistakes made and move past deception and obfuscations.

Liberty Nation: Why the Left Despises Casey DeSantis
Why the Left Despises Casey DeSantis
Leftist media and progressive acolytes are attacking Florida's first lady, Casey DeSantis, labeling her as overly ambitious, power-hungry, and a copycat of Jackie Kennedy. Despite being an accomplished woman in her own right, the left is determined to turn her into their latest whipping girl. However, those who accurately assess her can see that she is dedicated to her family, public policy, mental health, hurricane relief, and protecting children from offensive cultural mores. The leftist press is licking its chops to make Casey DeSantis into a modern-day Delilah, and progressives are lapping it up.

Fox News: California rivers become cold, deadly torrents as Sierra Nevada’s massive snowpack continues to melt
California rivers become cold, deadly torrents as Sierra Nevada’s massive snowpack continues to melt
Deadly California rivers fed by the Sierra Nevada snowpack are drawing warnings from officials ahead of Memorial Day weekend, with at least seven fatalities so far. Sacramento has already had 20 water rescues this year, nearly as many as all of 2022. Wading on the shore is being discouraged and raft rental firms are temporarily suspending their operations on the lower American River. The series of storms this past winter that brought the snowpack has now melted, swelling rivers that just months ago were running low due to drought.
