Fox News: The media joins Dem pile-on against Feinstein after 'concealing' Fetterman's health condition in 2022
Democratic Senators Dianne Feinstein and John Fetterman face mounting concerns about their health and fitness to serve. Feinstein is nearing 90 years old and has faced backlash for her absences from the Senate due to shingles and other health issues, with some calling for her resignation. Meanwhile, Fetterman suffered a stroke last year and has been accused of struggling with his mental and physical state, though many in the media have pushed back against such critiques, framing them as ableist. The debate over the competency of elected officials remains a contentious issue, with many Americans expressing concerns about President Biden's age and ability to govern as he seeks reelection in 2024.
Fox News: Reparations demands are spiking and Democrats have this astonishing reaction
Democratic politicians who campaigned on the issue of reparations for Black Americans are now facing demands for payment. The issue has long been a staple of identity politics, with reparation task forces and sanctuary cities set up in response to activists' calls. However, as bills come due, mayors are now balking at the high costs presented by migrants, while activists demand millions of dollars in cash payments for Black citizens. Recent polling indicates that 77% of Black Americans now support reparations, setting up a potential conflict with a Democratic party that has campaigned on the issue, but may now struggle to meet the financial demands.

Euromaidan Press: Russia and Belarus take steps to deploy nuclear weapons in Belarus, no immediate deployment expected – ISW
Russia and Belarus have signed agreements to deploy Russian tactical nuclear weapons to Belarus, with the aim of strengthening Russia's military control over its neighbor. The actual deployment and escalation is deemed highly unlikely, although Russia has long wanted to cement its de facto military control over Belarus. Russian President Vladimir Putin announced in March that Russia would deploy tactical nuclear weapons to Belarus by July 1. Russian forces will also deploy additional military contingents to Belarus to develop military infrastructure, expand joint combat training, and conduct reconnaissance activities near the borders of the Union State. The deployment of the weapons requires significant military infrastructure and Russian command and control over elements of the Belarusian Armed Forces, further subordinating Belarus to Russia's security sphere.

The Epoch Times: Cars Are Getting More Expensive—Here's How to Keep Yours on the Road Longer to Avoid Costly Payments
Chip shortages have raised the cost of new and used cars in the US, pushing the average age of cars on the road to 12.5 years, according to S&P Global Mobility. To avoid high prices and interest rates, vehicle owners should carry out regular maintenance, such as oil and coolant changes, lubrication and brake fluid replacement, as outlined in the owner’s manual. Choosing the right gasoline, avoiding salt build-up and washing the car regularly can also improve lifespan. Responding to warning lights, unusual noises and the car pulling in one direction can also help drivers identify potential problems before they become serious.
The Epoch Times: Florida Citrus Industry Posts Worst Year Since 1930s After Hurricane Damage and Crop Disease
Florida’s citrus industry has suffered its lowest harvest since 1937 due to damage from the 2022 hurricane season and citrus greening disease. The U.S. Department of Agriculture predicts that only 18 million boxes of Florida oranges will be available in 2023, just 56% of last year’s harvest. The collapse of Florida’s orange harvest is affecting the worldwide price of oranges, which is already 25% higher in the U.S. and over double in some other countries. The citrus industry, worth $9 billion, employs 76,000 workers and provides over 90% of orange juice consumed in the U.S. The industry is being threatened by the spread of citrus greening disease, which leaves inedible fruit.

The Epoch Times: ANALYSIS: Beijing Conducts Training for Village Officials Nationwide as Rural Conflicts Intensify
China’s ruling Communist Party conducted a rare training session for village officials nationwide to address its power crisis resulting from intensified conflicts in rural areas. Ministerial officers from various departments delivered speeches or lessons via video broadcast. The training reflects “the crisis of grassroots political power that has alarmed Zhongnanhai, the seat of CCP’s decision-making core in Beijing”. Experts suggest this is designed to strengthen CCP’s leadership in governance crisis. The CCP is relying on “rural enforcement” to carry out its new strategy to speed up the release of more arable fields, which has sparked outrage among farmers and even leading to a spate of rural bloodshed.
