The American Spectator: Let’s Bankrupt All the Pride Sponsors (With Joy and Conviction)
Let’s Bankrupt All the Pride Sponsors (With Joy and Conviction)
Conservatives want to wage a culture war and defend their values against brands and marketers. They oppose Pride Month and refuse to finance the pagan festival that offends Christian beliefs, sexualizes cities, and promotes ugliness and bad taste. (, )

Townhall: The Weed Industry Is High on DEI
The Weed Industry Is High on DEI
Despite Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives, there is a lack of Black Americans participating in the legal marijuana industry, which is on the rise and generating billions of dollars in revenue. Almost all donations from marijuana companies go to Democrats, and the industry is promoting social justice and racial equity through various state programs. However, a 2022 MJBizDaily report found a significant drop in non-white cannabis executives. Accusations of simple racism throughout the industry have been made despite the industry taking great pains to address racial disparities. The decline of Blacks in the industry and the accusations of racism may be proof of the failure of social justice programs and the condescending attitudes of those who promote DEI.

Stock Market Today: Tech Leads More Gains on Wall Street
Wall Street gained on the back of strong demand for artificial intelligence-related chips, led by a surge in the Nasdaq which was up 2.2%. Marvell Technology raced ahead 32.4% after saying it expected AI revenue in 2024 to at least double last year's level, a day after chipmaker Nvidia gave an equally strong forecast. The Consumer Finance Protection Bureau has said it is taking steps to ensure companies using AI technologies follow the law. Investors will be watching events in Washington, where Republicans and Democrats have been trying to lift the US government's debt ceiling, as well as keeping an eye on ongoing concerns over inflation.

Townhall: Memorial Day’s Enduring Importance
Memorial Day’s Enduring Importance
American youth feel increasingly disconnected from the meaning of Memorial Day with a recent survey reporting that 50% of the population knows "little to nothing" about military service. With only 1% of society currently serving in the military, most young Americans can barely name a veteran in their life, creating a civil-military divide. The trend of military service being passed down through families has its drawbacks, and as each generation passes, service to the country feels further and further away. Memorial Day is a day for all Americans to pay tribute to those who died for their freedoms and to participate in activities that unite the community with and without connections to the military.

Townhall: A Demarcation Point
A Demarcation Point
Presbyterian pastor Tim Keller's death drew comment from all corners of Protestantism and even from Catholic and Orthodox clergy. Keller preached the Bible as the inerrant word of God, and preached that marriage is between a man and woman. Keller grew a multi-thousand-person church in New York City on Manhattan Island without flash and theater. He adamantly insisted that the church should take sides on Biblical issues but not take sides in politics. Keller argued Christians should preach Jesus and let Him change people's hearts and minds. Some online "theobros" used Keller's death to attack the man and how he conducted himself, but Keller knew the fight we fight is a fight against the unseen realm and the weapons we must deploy are different from the weapons of the world.

Speaking to Homeschool Parents, DeSantis Pounds Parental Rights and Educational Change
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis spoke to homeschool parents in Orlando about his administration's achievements, including increasing school choice and removing sexually explicit materials from public school libraries. DeSantis also supports parental rights in education, including advising and consent over their children's education and age-appropriate instruction. He believes restoring civics education is necessary to teach the foundations of America and to uphold core principles. The survival of the American experiment requires a revival of true American principles.

The Epoch Times: Experts to Consider Critical Listing for Ancient Australian Fish
Experts to Consider Critical Listing for Ancient Australian Fish
The maugean skate, an ancient species found only in Tasmania, is on the brink of extinction, warns an urgent report. Despite being listed as endangered since 2004, it's never had a recovery plan, and the Threatened Species Scientific Committee decided last year not to change its status. The committee will reconsider the issue, and it may be listed as critically endangered. Environmental activists blame reduced oxygen levels in the harbour due to the local salmon farming industry and climate change. The Environment Minister intends to write to her Tasmanian counterpart to urge "extreme intervention" to save the fish.
