Fox News: Geraldo Rivera says NYC migrant influx becoming 'legitimate crisis' as businesses warn of tourism mess
NYC is experiencing a crisis as migrants occupy hotel rooms normally booked by tourists. Over 40,000 migrants currently need housing as hotel rooms are being taken up. Governor Hochul wants to help Mayor Adams, and the city is taking most of the burden. Geraldo Rivera suggests giving expedited work permits to these migrants, so they can pay for their own hotels.
NYC Mayor Eric Adams suggests sending migrants from the U.S.-Mexico border to every city "throughout the entire country." Mayor Adams said that over 70,000 migrant asylum seekers have come to NYC, and 42,000 are still under the city's care. The city has already spent more than $1 billion in addressing the migrant crisis and is expected to need more than $4 billion more in funding.

The Epoch Times: The Case for Ron DeSantis
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is running for president in 2024 and is the only one who can challenge Donald Trump for the Republican nomination. DeSantis understands the threat of woke ideology and has taken decisive measures to fight back against it. He has transformed Florida into the heart of red-state America with sweeping right-wing agenda achievements and voter registration advantages. The 2024 Republican presidential primary will be a choice between DeSantis' disciplined, mission-oriented conservatism and Trump's self-imposed distractions and personal grievances.
The Epoch Times: Moms for Liberty Website Shut Down by 'Anonymous' Hackers
The Moms for Liberty website was shut down multiple times by unknown hackers. The group's mission is to unify, educate, and empower parents to defend their parental rights at all levels of government. Multiple hackers attempted to claim credit for the attack, with one unknown hacker going by the name "Anonymous" posting a video claiming responsibility. The co-founder of Moms for Liberty suggested that those opposed to parental rights, particularly Marxists, may have been behind the attack due to the threat parental rights pose to communism. Although the website was down multiple times, the Moms for Liberty co-founder remained determined to continue the fight for parental rights.
Breitbart: James Comer: FBI Informant File Links Joe Biden to $5M Bribery Scheme
FBI informant files subpoena links Joe Biden to a $5 million bribery scheme. House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer disclosed the number in a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray. The subpoena follows a whistleblower's tip to Sen. Chuck Grassley's office regarding a bribe allegedly involving Burisma.
The New American: Getting Leftists to Self-Deport is the Answer
The Left's demographic strategies have paid major dividends for Democrats. They have successfully promoted mass migration (legal and illegal) and identity politics in minority communities to create new leftist voting blocs and identities such as LGBT. Red states like Florida are making themselves unappealing and intimidating to leftists that they simply do not settle there, which results in self-deportation. Republicans should push the Christian, constitutionalist platform forward unapologetically and completely to make the state even more red.
The Epoch Times: San Clemente Appoints Former Police Officer as New City Councilman
Retired law enforcement officer Rick Loeffler was appointed to fill a vacant seat in the San Clemente city council. Loeffler promised to treat the appointment as a placeholder and would not run for reelection in 2024. His focus as a councilman will be to make decisions without bias as a non-party registered voter, to commit to doing the work and responding to all citizen’s concerns, and to take action instead of pushing off important decisions which could help the city.
The Epoch Times: Target, Like Bud Light, Faces the Power of the Consumer
The Bud Light boycott and Target's stock plummeting serve as examples of consumers asserting their power over corporations and their woke messaging. Target's embrace of trans promotion and Satanist partnership with Abprallen have turned off consumers, leading to a $9 billion loss in valuation and the possibility of another corporate disaster. These tactics are part of a larger push by the World Economic Forum for owning nothing and being happy, and demonstrate the need for a revisit of Ludwig Erhard's classic argument against corporate cartels and for free-market competition. The consumer is king in a free market, and it's time to remind the corporate oligarchs of that fact.
Newsbusters: ELECTION INTERFERENCE: LinkedIn Censors GOP Presidential Candidate Vivek Ramaswamy
Big Tech platform LinkedIn censored Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy over his comments on climate change and China, claiming they contained "misleading or inaccurate information." LinkedIn cited three specific posts that allegedly violated its User Agreement. Ramaswamy challenged the platform's excuse of having made an "error" and called out Big Tech platforms for silencing speech to do the government's work through the backdoor. He further challenged Microsoft’s CEO to condemn LinkedIn’s censorship, calling it the beginning of 2024 election interference.
The Blaze: DeSantis hauls in a record $8.2 million in 24 hours after launching presidential campaign, easily beating Biden and Trump
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis raised a record-breaking $8.2 million in the first 24 hours after announcing his presidential campaign. This amount surpasses the previous record held by President Joe Biden's campaign, which raised $6.3 million in the same time frame. Never Back Down, the super PAC supporting DeSantis, plans to have an overall budget of at least $200 million and expects to launch a $100 million voter-outreach push to knock on the doors of every possible DeSantis voter in Iowa, Nevada, New Hampshire, and South Carolina. The organization plans to hire more than 2,600 field organizers by Labor Day, and it has already started hiring recruits in 18 states.

Fox News: Locals in Spanish seaside destination have message for tourists: 'Go home'
Barcelona residents are calling for measures to limit the number of tourists in the city, with signs reading "Go home" and "Tourism kills neighborhoods" appearing across the city. The push comes as tourist rates reach pre-pandemic levels and locals are concerned about the impact of overcrowding on their way of life. Barcelona Mayor Ada Colau has made regulating tourism a cornerstone of her campaign, with some suggestions including limiting the number of cruise ships that can dock in the port city and converting some hotels into low-cost housing.
Breitbart: Nolte: AP Claims, Without Evidence, Target Boycotts Became 'Violent' — Then Stealth-Edits Story
The Associated Press spread fake news about Target yanking LGBTQ merchandise after violent confrontations. They later removed these lies without acknowledging a correction. Target has been receiving backlash for sexualizing children with LGBTQ merchandise and partnering with a Satanist. The AP is spreading conspiracies to protect them. Target is selling "tuck friendly" swimsuits for male transvestites who haven't undergone gender-affirming operations, exhibiting fetish merchandise for children to see. AP is ignoring their error instead of owning up to it.
Daily Wire: Target Had A Special Push To Hire LGBTQ Designers For ‘Pride’ Collection Ahead Of Backlash
Target's recent ESG report emphasizes their endorsement of the LGBTQ movement by hiring diverse suppliers, despite backlash for a controversial "Pride Month" collection. The company sources over half of their Pride Month items from "LGBTQIA+ creators and brands," and more than half of overall suppliers are "owned, controlled and operated by women, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, veterans, or people with disabilities." Conservatives have launched a boycott against Target for marketing a swimsuit with "extra crotch coverage" and hiring an artist who creates Satanic items to make designs for the company.

Red State: Target Partners With Group That Advises Schools About Hiding Child's 'Gender Identity' From Parents
Bud Light and Target are facing backlash over their injection of "woke" ideologies and politics into their products. Bud Light's sales and stock have taken a hit, and Target's stock has plummeted by $9 billion due to their controversial policies, which include partnering with a K-12 education group, GLSEN, which advocates for keeping parents in the dark on their child's in-school gender transition, providing sexually explicit books to schools for free, and integrating gender ideology at all levels of public school curriculum. GLSEN also wants to ensure that districts let biological males compete against women in women’s sports. Target's move has sparked outrage and threatens to push away customers who just want to buy products without a political agenda being pushed on them.

National Review: The Corner: State Department Warmly Welcomes China’s New Ambassador
China’s new ambassador to the U.S. Xie Feng has been welcomed by senior government officials, despite concerns raised by human rights advocates. Xie is heading an embassy embroiled in espionage and stalking plots that have been made public in ongoing court cases. The ambassador has called for increased dialogue and cooperation between the two countries, and recent talks and photographs suggest a “thaw” in U.S.-China relations is imminent, though some doubt Xie’s suitability as an envoy due to his connection to human rights abuses.

The Epoch Times: What’s the Deal With Jumbo Loans
First Federal Bank failed due to an abundance of low-interest jumbo loans, which are riskier for banks to make because they aren't federally backed and can't be resold. Although jumbo loans have traditionally had higher interest rates, the jumbo-conforming rate spread has begun to narrow due to lenders becoming more cautious. Jumbo loans are generally most used for those in the $250,000 to $500,000 income range, but whether you should take out a jumbo loan depends on your assets and credit and the tax deductions available to you. To qualify for a jumbo loan, you'll need a high credit score, a down payment of at least 10%, and cash reserves to prove you can make large payments.

Eliminating, shortening, or lessening the frequency of meetings can all be effective tactics for making the most of employees’ time. Additionally, introducing protocols such as requiring a decision-maker to be present and setting a maximum of seven attendees can improve the quality of any remaining meetings. By doing this, companies can dramatically cut costs and boost employee satisfaction.
