National Review: The Corner: Inside the Left’s War on Things That Work
The Left is waging a war on gas stoves and other consumer goods that make life convenient and workable. They believe that securing a fossil-fuel-free future demands sacrifice from everyone and are pushing for bans on natural-gas-powered appliances, including the California and New York State bans in the works. Human Events: Biden’s DHS used taxpayer-funded ‘anti-terrorism’ program to
demonize conservatives using Antifa propaganda
The Department of Homeland Security collaborated with universities and NGOs to associate Turning Point USA and other conservative organizations with Nazi ideology and terrorism. The DHS's Targeted Violence and Terrorism Prevention Grant Program awarded 80 grants to public, private, and non-profit institutions costing taxpayers $39,611,999, and a report from the Media Research Center exposed the DHS as one of the main drivers of the "extremism" narrative adopted by nearly every liberal activist. These propaganda tactics have been used to demonize the right and justify violence against conservatives, creating a hostile environment for them on campuses and in workplaces. Liberal operatives trained audience members to participate in illicit actions meant to "destabilize" political movements, including how to de-platform conservative organizations and individuals. Loadenthal, an Antifa member, argued that to successfully fulfill all that their ideology demands, liberals must shut down conservative websites, close their meetings, and prevent them from assembling in public.

Meanwhile, the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority has cancelled its Canada Day fireworks from 2023 onwards and Toronto considered a similar move but has since reversed it due to resource constraints.

National Review: The Corner: Electric Trucks Are Worse than Diesel Trucks
California's new regulation will require all new drayage trucks to be zero-emissions, starting next year. However, electric trucks are not yet ready to replace diesel trucks due to various problems, including cost, refueling time, infrastructure, weight, and capacity. Electric truck technology is simply not equipped to move as much freight as diesel trucks at a lower cost. This move is likely to impose higher costs throughout the supply chain, which could raise consumer prices (, ).

Daily Wire: Supreme Court Slashes Biden EPA’s Power Over Water Bodies
The Supreme Court ruled that the EPA's regulatory control over water bodies under the 1972 Clean Water Act only applies to wetlands that are obviously connected to larger regulated water bodies. The decision came after an Idaho couple wanted to build a home on land that the EPA considered a protected wetland, arguing that the “wetlands” on the Sacketts' property should be classified as “waters of the United States” because they were near a ditch that fed into a creek. Justice Samuel Alito wrote that a protected wetland must have a “continuous surface connection” to a larger body of water, while Justice Elena Kagan criticized the court for appointing “itself as the national decision-maker on environmental policy.”
