Fox News: Doctors Without Borders condemns Greece's treatment, deportations of migrants
Doctors Without Borders has accused Greece of illegally deporting asylum-seekers to Turkey after abducting them, using hunger as a weapon against some, and forcing people out of Greece. The group called the situation on the island of Lesbos "continuously deteriorating," with fear of pushbacks preventing access to health services for many newly arrived migrants, and others who cannot be found possibly deported in secret. Since June 2022, MSF had been unable to locate 940 people at their reported locations, it said. Greek authorities have not yet commented on the allegations.
Last week, the New York Times claimed Athens had deported a group of migrants from Lesbos to Turkey on a Greek coastguard boat, a practice Greece has repeatedly denied. At the time, the Greek government ordered an investigation into the claims. Lesbos, a major landing point for thousands of people seeking a better life in Europe, has witnessed a substantial reduction in arrivals since Athens stepped up patrols at sea in 2019. MSF accused Greek authorities of stopping food aid to people who had completed the registration process in a Lesbos centre for asylum-seekers on May 17 to force them to leave and described conditions at another centre as "dire."
Fox News: Fox News Poll: Voters say border security is worse compared to two years ago
A Fox News poll shows negative views of border security are up, with 51% of registered voters saying security at the border has gotten worse in the past two years. Republicans are most negative, with 82% saying border security is worse now compared to 6% who felt that way in 2018. Six in 10 (61%) say Title 42, which ended May 11, should have been left in place, and overall, President Biden's ratings on border security are in negative territory by 30 points — 33% approve and 63% disapprove.

Red State: 'Not a Single Vote': Mexico's Leftist President Obrador Demands Hispanics Reject Ron DeSantis
Mexican President AMLO urges Hispanics to reject Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in the upcoming U.S. presidential election, accusing him of weaponizing illegal immigration to win votes. AMLO claimed that DeSantis and Republican Party politicians are "very hypocritical" and employs illegal migrants to benefit from cheap wages. DeSantis condemned the "absolutely insane system" of illegal immigration and pledged to construct a border wall and hold the Mexican drug cartels accountable for the flow of narcotics across the country.
Daily Wire: House Democrat Leader Claims Republicans ‘Want To Crash The Economy’ So Trump Will Be Elected
House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) accused House Republicans of wanting to induce a recession amid debt ceiling negotiations in order to improve Donald Trump's election prospects. Democrats and Republicans are debating whether to link an increase in the debt limit with spending caps or to have separate negotiations for each issue. As the deadline for a possible default approaches, Democratic officials have contended that Republicans are engaged in brinkmanship and want to extract painful cuts or crash the economy in order to appease their base. Fitch Ratings and Morningstar announced that the nation's AAA credit rating could be reconsidered due to political partisanship hindering negotiations.
The Epoch Times: DeSantis Vows to Consider Pardons for Jan. 6 Defendants, Trump ‘On Day One’ of Presidency
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has promised to be aggressive in issuing pardons to Jan. 6 defendants, potentially including former president Donald Trump, if elected president. Trump is currently the target of four criminal investigations, including two federal probes, and has maintained his innocence in all four cases. DeSantis said he would issue pardons on a case-by-case basis, depending on the facts of the situation, and would address any disfavored treatment based on politics or weaponization.
National Review: DeSantis Says He Would Be ‘Aggressive in Issuing Pardons’ for J6 Defendants
Florida governor Ron DeSantis, newly minted presidential candidate for the 2024 election, said he would consider pardoning many of the January 6 rioters if elected president. DeSantis criticized the FBI's weaponization of its authority in conducting January 6-related investigations and targeting disfavored groups, including pro-life groups and parents at school board meetings. He also plans to fire FBI director Christopher Wray on his first day if elected. He believes the DOJ and FBI have become very partisan and would clear out people who are not "doing the job."
Breitbart: Jewish Groups Blast Biden's Anitsemitism Strategy; Shaped by Antisemitic CAIR
The Republican Jewish Coalition criticized President Biden's new antisemitism strategy, arguing that it was drafted with help from the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), known for its antisemitic rhetoric. The strategy rejects the definition of antisemitism adopted by former President Trump in 2019, which includes extreme criticism of Israel. Instead, the Biden strategy lumps antisemitism with Islamophobia, despite criticism that the two are fundamentally different and that the former is frequently motivated by Islamic extremism. Critics said that CAIR's involvement in drafting the document is concerning, given the organization's support for the BDS movement and its track record of terrorizing Jewish students on college campuses.
PJ Media: WATCH: Delusional Gov. Chris Sununu Declares Trump 'Is Not Going to Be the Nominee' on 'The View'
Former Bush-era Republican politician John Sununu appeared on The View and promoted his presidential aspirations and typical Republican talking points. He claimed that the MAGA voter base doesn't matter in the primary and Trump is playing the victim card. He also suggested that the best way to go after Trump from within the GOP is to frame him as a "loser." Sununu and other RINOs are no longer relevant to the base but are artificially propped up by the donor class. Sununu is contemplating a 2024 run, but he will likely lose and retreat into obscurity.
Governor Chris Sununu of New Hampshire is considering a White House bid in 2024, citing the state's "live free or die" spirit as a model for the Republican Party. He's spending time growing the party and talking to potential voters right now. However, Sununu is out of touch with the base and irrelevant due to the rise of Trump. He and other RINOs are artificially propped up and no longer have any clout with the base. Sununu will likely lose in the primary and end up shilling for his donor-owners' next project.
Breitbart: Exclusive — MTG: FBI Is 'Protecting' Bidens by Stonewalling Subpoena
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene accuses FBI Director Christopher Wray of protecting the Biden family by refusing to hand over an unclassified document that allegedly details a pay-for-play scheme between then-Vice President Joe Biden and a foreign national. Greene claims the document includes direct evidence of Joe Biden receiving payment from a foreign national for foreign policy decisions. Despite FBI stonewalling, the investigation has identified three Biden family members who received $1.3 million and found the Biden family business received at least $10 million from business schemes in Romania and China, leading Greene to call for impeachment and defunding of top brass at the FBI and DOJ.
Daily Wire: Oath Keepers Leader Gets Longest January 6 Sentence To Date
Stewart Rhodes, founder of the Oath Keepers, has been sentenced to 18 years in prison for seditious conspiracy and other charges related to the January 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol. Prosecutors had sought a 25-year prison sentence, arguing that the breach was an act of terrorism and that Rhodes posed an ongoing threat to American democracy. Despite Rhodes' claims that he and other Oath Keepers did not participate in the violence, more than 1,000 people have been arrested in connection to the event over the past 28 months.

Kendi, critical race theory author. The Seattle Department of Human Resources (SDHR) test for this promotion includes books that promote social justice activism, leaving retired Seattle firefighter Wayne Johnson to criticize the controversial curriculum as having “nothing to do with firefighting.” Fireboat engineers are also being tested on Robin DiAngelo's book "Is Everyone Really Equal?: An Introduction to Key Concepts in Social Justice Education" as well as handouts covering "structural interplay between all oppressions."

Meanwhile, barber Tugca Yagiz believes that Turkey has made great strides under Erdogan and hopes to give his sons a future where the country stands strong and independently on the world stage.
The Blaze: 'Socially contagious' gender dysphoria study retracted from journal after trans activists retaliate
A study exploring whether gender dysphoria is "socially contagious" among children and young adults was retracted by a major journal after transgender activists threatened to cease working for the journal. "Rapid Onset Gender Dysphoria: Parent Reports on 1655 Possible Cases" observed 1,655 individuals who had experienced gender dysphoria between the ages of 11 and 21. The study explored the hypothesis that the increase of young people claiming to suffer from gender dysphoria might indicate a "socially contagious syndrome". Springer claimed that the study was retracted because the researchers failed to obtain written, informed consent from its survey participants.

The Epoch Times: Singh Asks Trudeau for Certain Conditions Before Getting Security Clearance
Opposition Leader Jagmeet Singh has asked the Canadian Prime Minister to allow more members of his party to be briefed on foreign interference attempts. Singh asked that spots given to members of his team accompany him in the briefings. Singh said he expects to be able to speak freely about his conclusions based on the intelligence he is allowed to view. The Prime Minister’s Office did not immediately respond to the request for comment. Opposition party leaders expressed their displeasure with David Johnston’s report because he advised against a public inquiry into foreign interference, though he promised to hold some public hearings of his own. In his letter, Singh said a public inquiry would restore trust in Canada’s institutions, after a series of media reports brought allegations that China meddled in the last two federal elections to public attention. Johnston’s first report said the media reports, which cited unnamed national security sources and classified documents lacked context. “There is still time to repair this damage, and once again, I urge you to reverse course and call for the rigorous, public, and independent inquiry that Canadians deserve,” Singh’s letter said.
Foreign Policy: Republican Foreign Policy vs. Everybody
Republican presidential hopefuls are already focusing on foreign policy, with former Vice President Mike Pence backing a legislative agenda that includes canceling Chinese Treasury holdings and decoupling with China. Meanwhile, conservative think tanks such as the Hudson Institute and the Heritage Foundation are preparing to staff up a potential 2024 Republican administration, with John McEntee, previously head of the Presidential Personnel Office under Trump, now helping to spearhead the Heritage Foundation's Project 2025 to staff up a roster of policy experts with MAGA bona fides. Ukraine faces issues training pilots for F-16 fighter jets ahead of the delivery of around 20 Western fighter jets, risking displacement by NATO countries of their own trainees and sparking shortages of resources. Fox News: Fox News Poll: Views on the economy are going from bad to worse
The majority of voters believe the economy, both nationally and personally, is in poor shape, with inflation being their top concern. Only 20% of voters feel President Biden's policies are helping them, and nearly half believe they are hurting their families. Biden’s job rating on the economy is underwater by 32 points, with 33% of voters approving of his handling and 65% disapproving. The approval of his overall job performance is at 42%, with 58% disapproving, and it is at record lows with key segments of the Democratic coalition.
National Review: The Corner: Social Security Reform Must Be Realistic
A "Big Idea" has been proposed to reform Social Security and save beneficiaries from a 24 percent benefit cut. The plan creates a separate investment fund of $1.5 trillion in the American economy to be held in escrow for 70 years, without relying on borrowing. It is a political decision to raise the initial funding by selling off government assets, and the plan is a viable alternative to regressive FICA tax hikes, benefit cuts, or unchecked borrowing. With almost half of Baby Boomers lacking retirement savings apart from Social Security, this realistic plan must be considered.
The Epoch Times: 'Major Problem' Grid Not Ready for Solar Farm Projects Until 2030s
UK solar farm developers are facing lengthy waits of between 15 to 20 years to connect to local electricity grids, according to energy regulator, Ofgem. Developer waiting times for large solar projects, both on roofs and ground, “can often stretch well into the 2030s”. Ofgem believes major reform is needed to reduce waiting times and reduce the risk to other projects being delayed. Solar is a key part of the UK government’s plans to establish cheaper, cleaner, and more secure homegrown energy.
The Epoch Times: US First Quarter GDP, Core Inflation Revised Higher
The US economy expanded slightly faster in Q1 2023 than initially projected, with the GDP climbing at an annualized rate of 1.3%. However, economists expected more and the inflation rate was revised up, raising concerns about the June Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) policy meeting. Real disposable personal income was revised to 7.8%, the personal savings rate was down 0.6% and the futures market predicts a quarter-point rate hike to the benchmark fed funds rate. Despite these slight improvements in the economy, business and consumer sentiment has weakened and forecasts predict a contraction of economic activity and a mild recession by mid-2023.

Only housing costs will be covered in an effort to offer more tailored assistance which will vary based on salary, the size of the family and location of duty. The Epoch Times: Archdiocese Blasts Dodgers for Backtracking, Renewing Trans 'Nuns' Invite
The Dodgers have renewed an invitation for a group of "queer and trans nuns" to take part in its Pride Night following backlash to its initial decision to rescind the invitation. The transgender Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, which has been described by some groups as an anti-Catholic hate group, will receive a Community Hero Award at the event. The Archdiocese of Los Angeles criticised the team for “disparag[ing] and diminish[ing]” Christianity. The archdiocese has called on local Catholics to stand together against the team’s reversal.
However, both LGBT groups and elected officials have praised the Dodgers’ decision to apologise to the transgender nuns group and reinstate the invitation. Bill Donohue, president of the Catholic League, accused the team of “rewarding anti-Catholicism” by honouring the group. Catholic Vote also condemned the Sister’s inclusion in the Dodgers’ event. Anaheim Mayor Ashleigh Aitken invited the Sisters to be her guests at the Los Angeles Angels Pride Night at Angel Stadium on 7 June, but was criticised by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Orange.
