American Thinker: Voting age: 25 is the new 18
Republican candidate Vivek Ramaswamy suggests increasing the voting age to 25 for those who don't participate in public service or fail a civics test, as neuroscience shows that the adolescent brain is fully developed at that age. Those who serve in the military or pass the test are more mentally equipped to resist progressive political propaganda and would be better suited at avoiding mob rule in the electorate. ( )
Fox News: Papadopoulos speaks out after Durham report, slams FBI's 'pre-determined plan to sabotage the Trump campaign'
Former Trump campaign aide George Papadopoulos says the recent report from Special Counsel John Durham shows his repeated denials about possible collusion with Russia before the FBI opened its Trump-Russia probe were omitted. Durham argued that the exclusion of Papadopoulos' statements in the Page FISA application was insufficient to bring criminal charges against any FBI or Department personnel. The report stated that Papadopoulos's words were dismissed as "weird" and "rehearsed." Thus, his denials were not included in the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrant applications to surveil former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.

American Thinker: Why is the NAACP against Black people succeeding?
The NAACP issues travel advisory for Florida due to Governor DeSantis' restriction of diversity and inclusion programs in schools, claiming the state devalues African Americans and marginalized communities. However, Florida ranks first in the country for black-owned businesses and is the second-most in the country, providing more than 77,000 employment opportunities and representing an annual payroll of over $2.6 billion. The state also has the toughest anti-discrimination laws and attracts the largest share of African American vacationers in the country.
The Economist: Meet the lefty Europeans who want to shrink the economy
The European left is calling for "de-growth," claiming that the limits to economic growth predicted by the Club of Rome in 1972 have now been reached. Supporters argue that growth is damaging to the planet and that social justice can only be achieved through a decrease in economic activity. Some suggest that citizens should democratically determine what kind of production is required, while others advocate for panel discussions to determine wasteful activities and prevent societal collapse. However, critics argue that green technology and a shift in economic models could solve the environmental issues caused by growth.

American Thinker: Hit the road, AMLO, and don't you come back no more
President Lopez-Obrador of Mexico has been declared persona non grata by Peru's Foreign Relations Commission due to his criticism of the government and authorization for the US military to enter the country. The decision will now be passed to the Plenary of the Congress for a final decision. AMLO has been accused of meddling in Peruvian affairs, breaking Mexico's non-intervention policy. He has also refused to give up his honorary presidency of the Pacific Club, which is causing additional tension.

Forbes: Brock Purdy’s Imminent Return To Throwing Breeds Quarterback Optimism For 49ers
Brock Purdy is on track to be the San Francisco 49ers' starting quarterback for the 2023 season opener. Purdy enjoyed a fairytale rise last year, winning all five regular-season starts and two playoff games before suffering an elbow injury. During this period, he was fourth in Expected Points Added per play and would have finished fifth in ESPN's QBR if he had played enough snaps to qualify. Head coach Kyle Shanahan confirmed that Purdy is set to start throwing next week, and the team is optimistic he will be ready by Week 1. Trey Lance and Sam Darnold are also in the running for the position.

Fox News: Target customers shocked after company features pride items by Satanist partner: Devil is 'hope' and 'love'
Target has received criticism over its partnership with controversial U.K.-based brand Abprallen, which sells merchandise promoting pro-LGBTQ messages. Abprallen's designer Eric Carnell is an outspoken Satanist, and the brand features occult imagery on its apparel and messages such as "Satan respects pronouns". Following accusations of the brand being "creepy", "aggressive" and "polarizing", some customers have expressed their intention to shop elsewhere. Abprallen is currently selling two products on Target's website, a messenger bag that says "Too queer for here," and a sweatshirt that says "Cure transphobia." Neither product features Satanic imagery.
Fox News: Swalwell's claim of 'collusion' between Trump, Russia contradicted by Durham report
Rep. Eric Swalwell claimed there was "strong evidence of collusion" between Russia and former President Donald Trump, which was directly contradicted by the release of Special Counsel John Durham's report on the Trump investigation. Durham's report concluded intelligence agencies had no "actual evidence of collusion" to justify their launch of the Trump-Russia investigation, adding to Special Counsel Robert Mueller's report in 2019 that concluded there was no evidence the Trump campaign engaged in a criminal plot to collude with the Russians to influence the 2016 election. Swalwell continued to push the collusion narrative, citing internal investigations from Democrats on the intelligence committee to claim Trump had direct involvement in collusion with the Russians, but these claims were never proven.
The Durham report concluded the Department of Justice and FBI "failed to uphold their mission of strict fidelity to the law" as it launched an investigation premised on "raw, unanalyzed and uncorroborated intelligence." "In particular, there was significant reliance on investigative leads provided or funded (directly or indirectly) by Trump's political opponents," the report stated. These findings contradict the claims made by Swalwell and other Democrats who repeated the narrative of Russian collusion without sufficient evidence. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy removed Swalwell from the intelligence committee once Republicans took control of the House this year.
