State Legislature in Louisiana Considering 4th Constitutional Carry Bill Since 2020
The Louisiana House of Representatives passed a bill that would allow anyone 18 and older to carry a concealed gun without a permit. The bill has failed to pass in previous years and its fate remains uncertain.

Fox News: Before the Durham report, TV networks allowed Russiagate booster Adam Schiff to claim 'evidence' of collusion
Before the Durham report, TV networks allowed Russiagate booster Adam Schiff to claim 'evidence' of collusion
Durham's report concludes that the original Crossfire Hurricane probe into alleged Trump-Russia collusion was launched based on "raw, unanalyzed, and uncorroborated intelligence," and that the FBI was wrong to fast-track a full investigation. Schiff repeatedly claimed to have seen "evidence" of collusion, but neither the Mueller nor the Durham probe found any evidence of such collusion. TV networks repeatedly invited Schiff to peddle the Russiagate hoax without much pushback, allowing him to read the now-infamous Steele dossier into congressional record and even asserting that evidence of collusion was "in plain sight."

Fox News: We're ex-SEALs who know all Americans need to do hard things and challenge ourselves to restore our nation
We're ex-SEALs who know all Americans need to do hard things and challenge ourselves to restore our nation
American exceptionalism, the belief that our nation holds a unique destiny and a responsibility to guide the world, has waned in recent years, causing alarm for the global community as its decline could have far-reaching consequences. Political polarization, economic stagnation, and the erosion of personal responsibility have replaced the foundational high standards upon which this nation was built. American exceptionalism is at a crossroads, and if not checked, could leave the country waving at the rest of the world as they pass us by.

Embracing hard things is not easy, but this struggle cultivates valuable attributes like resilience, adaptability, and perseverance, reinspiring the American spirit and inspiring a new generation of problem-solvers. Humans have an evolutionary need for challenge, discomfort sharpens perspective and focus, and humans need to leave their comfort zone to enhance brain activity and productivity. Hardship builds character and prepares us for future obstacles. It's time to return to high standards of personal responsibility and accountability, take risks, face failure, and remind the world what American exceptionalism truly means.

John Mellencamp 'nailed it' with song for Portland, say residents: 'Land of plenty where nothing gets done'
Residents of Portland weigh in on the city's homeless crisis as musician John Mellencamp releases a song about the issue. Portland's mayor has reported a 50% increase in homelessness from 2019 to 2022, with over 700 homeless encampments in the city. Though $4 billion has been committed to the crisis in the last six or seven years, residents say the situation has only gotten worse. A Democrat-backed bill would allow members of the homeless community to sue property owners if they as them to leave their residence.

Forbes: Dissension Lingers For Cash-Stricken Cricket Countries As Contentious Revenue Distribution Model Set To Pass
Dissension Lingers For Cash-Stricken Cricket Countries As Contentious Revenue Distribution Model Set To Pass
India's proposed revenue distribution model for the International Cricket Council (ICC) would give the country a 38.5% share of earnings from the 2024-27 media rights deal, up from 22% under the current arrangement, according to ESPNcricinfo. Worryingly for smaller cricketing nations, designs also include cutting the percentage of net surplus for the likes of England and Australia. Associate Members, who don't rank among the highest Full Members, will again receive only 11.19%. Some in the game have described the situation as critical for the sport in non-traditional areas.

Growing debate surrounds a proposal to give India a significantly larger share of International Cricket Council (ICC) funds from 2024-27 under the organisation's new revenue sharing plan. Meanwhile, smaller cricketing nations could struggle to maintain the game in non-traditional areas, as Associate Members remain set to receive just 11.19%. While some were hoping the model would get revisited, insiders fear it will pass mostly unamended when ICC members meet in South Africa in July, with India said to want more.
