Breitbart: Angel Mom Tells Congress: My Daughter Is Dead Due to Open Borders
Kayla Hamilton was strangled and raped by an MS-13 member who was allowed into the US after fleeing El Salvador four months prior. The accused illegal alien was released as an Unaccompanied Alien Child and settled in Maryland despite having gang tattoos and a criminal record. Hamilton's mother, Tammy Nobles, urged for stricter border controls and increased vetting for border crossers to prevent similar tragedies in the future. Since Biden took office, over 5.5 million border crossers and illegal aliens have been encountered at the border, with millions having been released into the US and another 1.5 million having successfully crossed undetected.

The Epoch Times: DOE Pulls Plug on Chinese-Owned Company's Grant Application Months After Alarm Raised
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) revoked Microvast Holdings' qualification for a $200 million grant following revelations of the Texas subsidiary's links to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Microvast is no longer allowed to apply for or negotiate grants under the 2021 Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL), which offers $62 billion in federal funds for companies engaged in 72 research and development programs designed to foster domestic energy independence. The Department of Energy has yet to fully explain why it allowed Microvast to apply despite concerns about its links to China.
Congressional representatives in both parties had raised issues with Microvast's grant application for over a year, particularly after the company was put on the SEC's watchlist in April 2022 due to its China entanglements. The latest developments have seen DOE officials accused of “entertaining other problematic awards,” even as they continuously claim that their vetting process is thorough, and most applicants are ultimately rejected. Indeed, the DOE's denial of a grant to Microvast shows that politicians on both sides of the aisle are keen to avoid taxpayer money ending up in adversarial nations' hands and sees the government in the US take policy positions that push ensure that there is less foreign control of companies' American operations and know-how.
Fox News: Americans say Biden deserves a 2024 primary challenger: 'Somebody younger'
Iowa citizens feel that President Biden deserves a primary challenger in the upcoming 2024 elections. Fox News: Joy Behar blasted by Black Republicans over claim Tim Scott 'doesn't get' racism: 'Sit this one out'
Sen. Tim Scott is being criticized by "The View" co-host Joy Behar, who compared him to Justice Clarence Thomas and claimed he "doesn't get" racism. Scott, a Black Republican, responded on Twitter, stating that he is the candidate the "radical Left fears the most" and that they "lose their minds" when a Black conservative who believes in the future of the nation is counted. Rep. Byron Donalds also called out Behar for her comments, which he said showed a lack of empathy towards Black Americans and were hypocritical due to her past use of blackface.
During his campaign announcement speech, Scott referenced the instances of criticism from the Left and claimed to threaten their control and disrupt their narrative. "The View" co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg and Sunny Hostin also criticized Scott, stating that it seems like he thinks "Because I made it, everyone can make it" and that his story is "the exception, not the rule." Scott responded by stating that Hostin had it backward and that America is a story of evolution. He also criticized too many American schools for "indoctrinating our kids instead of educating them."
Human Events: Formerly respected magazine Vanity Fair targets Elon Musk with
disgusting KKK smear
Vanity Fair Magazine has published a politically hysterical piece about Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) announcing his 2024 presidential bid with Elon Musk. The piece concluded by demonizing DeSantis without any evidence or analysis.

Daily Wire: Montana Bans Drag Queens Reading To Kids At Libraries, Schools
Montana Republicans have banned drag queens from reading books to children in libraries and schools. The bill signed by Republican Governor Greg Gianforte bars minors from attending sexually oriented shows and allows them to take legal action against people who promote them. The bill's sponsor, Republican Rep. Braxton Mitchell, claims drag queens reading to children were part of a "sick agenda" and drag shows were "damaging to a child's psychology and general welfare." Democrats attempted to amend the bill by replacing references to "drag" with "adult-oriented performance." The amendment was defeated.
Breitbart: FL Restaurant Sues DeSantis for Banning ‘Family Friendly’ Drag Shows

Florida venues must not allow anyone under the age of 18 to attend sexually explicit drag shows or risk fines and liquor licences being revoked. Hamburger Mary’s argues that the law has nothing to do with protecting children, and is instead a way of “oppressing the LGBTQ+ community.” The lawsuit claims the law violates First Amendment rights and free speech protections.

Target is removing certain items from its Pride Collection due to confrontational behavior and threats from customers. The decision comes after CEO Brian Cornell defended the collection as the "right thing for society" and noted its positive impact on the company's growth and engagement. Target cited concerns for the safety and well-being of its employees as the reason for the adjustments.
Fox News: Rare outdoor meeting with San Francisco mayor, city board over drug crisis cut short due to protestors
San Francisco Board of Supervisors cut their meeting short after protesters interrupted with chants of "no more cops." Board President Aaron Peskin had planned to question Mayor London Breed on the response to the ongoing drug crisis in the Tenderloin neighborhood, but the meeting was moved back to City Hall before the mayor could answer. Daily Wire: Portland Resident Says John Mellencamp ‘Nailed It’ With New Song About Homelessness Crisis: ‘Land Of Plenty Where Nothing Gets Done’
John Mellencamp's new song "The Eyes of Portland" captures the city's current homelessness and drug crisis, with at least one Portland resident praising it as spot on. The song's lyrics are bleak, commenting on the many sleeping homeless people and the "land of plenty where nothing gets done" to help them. Despite the city committing $4bn to the crisis, Portland's mayor admits the problem has grown worse, not better. With around 700 homeless encampments in the city, a city-run camp will only provide space for around 150 of the estimated 3,000 people living on the streets.
