National Review: The Corner: Kathy Hochul: Hey, What If We Put Migrants in College Dorms?
The Democratic Party is struggling to reconcile their open-door immigration policy with their inability to provide solutions for the practical problems of handling an influx of migrants, as exemplified by New York Governor Kathy Hochul's plan to use college dorms on three SUNY campuses to house migrants. The dilemma is apparent in the outrage that has met other similar proposals from elected officials such as Chicago's former and current mayor, who suggested using school buildings and parks as housing facilities. The declaration of emergency in 25 New York counties is putting pressure on the administration to act.

The Right Scoop: Top Never Trumper suddenly finds ‘strange new respect’ for Trump over DeSantis entering 2024 race
Former Republican turned Democrat Bill Kristol is suddenly giving "strange new respect" to Trump after Governor DeSantis is seen as a threat for the 2024 presidential run. This sudden shift in perspective has been criticized by other conservatives and seen as a betrayal.
The Federalist Papers: Hillary Clinton Takes Shot at Ron DeSantis After 2024 Speculation Heats Up on Twitter
Hillary Clinton attacked Governor Ron DeSantis on social media, piggybacking on the NAACP’s travel advisory against Florida relating to his battle against the teaching of critical race theory and LGBT indoctrination of children. Clinton claimed that "Ron DeSantis’s ultra-MAGA Florida isn’t safe for people of color, LGBTQ+ people, or even multi-billion dollar corporations." However, social media users criticized her tweet as being untrue and a "crazy lie." In other news, Clinton did little to help the Democrats’ likely 2024 nominee over the weekend. Financial Times editor Edward Luce asked her about a moment President Joe Biden almost fell during his recent trip to Japan, according to The Hill. Clinton stated that "his age is an issue and people have every right to consider it."
Daily Wire: CNN Announces Presidential Town Hall With Nikki Haley
Nikki Haley, former South Carolina Republican Governor and U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, will participate in a presidential town hall with CNN in Iowa on June 4th. The event will be moderated by CNN anchor Jake Tapper and will involve questions from a live audience of Iowa Republicans and voters. The press release said that they would pledge to appear in person at the Republican caucuses. CNN previously held a town hall with former President Donald Trump earlier in May, drawing over 3 million viewers. Haley, who has called for a “national consensus” on abortion, is averaging approximately 4% in GOP primary polls.
Red State: Adam Schiff Faces $16 Million Fine for Spreading Russia Collusion Hoax
Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) has introduced a resolution to fine Democratic Congressman Adam Schiff $16 million for his claims that former President Trump colluded with Russia in the 2016 election. The resolution censures Schiff and imposes the $16 million fine, calling on House leadership to support the motion. Schiff’s continuous dissemination of baseless allegations without delivering on his promises calls into question Schiff’s integrity and credibility.
The New American: Bilderberg's 2023 Agenda for Global Control: AI, CBDC, China, Censorship, and More - The New American
The 69th Bilderberg meeting of the world's movers and shakers discussed topics such as AI, energy grids, China, transnational threats, and CBDCs (central bank digital currencies). Bilderberg sits atop the globalist pyramid of power, operating as a transmission belt for the Bilderberg party line and placement and promotion of Bilderberg-selected candidates into key positions of world influence.
The Bilderberg elites are pursuing the Great Reset, their grand plan to "reset" humanity, as Klaus Schwab and the World Economic Forum have proposed and relentlessly promoted. They want to be able to not just know every move you make and every breath you take, but also monitor and even control every word you speak, everything you read, every thought you think.
The New American: President DeSantis? - The New American
Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida talks about his decision to keep the state open during Covid, which resulted in Florida having less excess mortality than California and New York. He also banned mask mandates and prioritized individual freedom, but critics say this limits choice for businesses and individuals who want to be surrounded by masks. DeSantis also leads the nation in school choice and opposes teaching sexual orientation and gender identity in classrooms. He also talks about immigration, the drug war, and his opposition to Obama's plan to send Americans to Syria.
The Epoch Times: Trump Says E. Jean Carroll's Amended Lawsuit Is 'Part of Democrats' Playbook'
Former President Donald Trump responded to an amended defamation complaint filed by E. Jean Carroll, calling it "A TOTAL SCAM" and part of the Democratic playbook to tarnish his name. Carroll's lawyers had accused Trump of doubling down on derogatory comments about their client during a televised town hall event earlier this month, where he called her a "whack job" and said her claims were fake. Carroll is now seeking $10 million in compensatory damages in her lawsuit, and punitive damages, after a New York jury found Trump liable for defamation and sexual battery, but not rape, after he denied her accusations in 2019.
The Epoch Times: Sunak Will Not Order Probe Into Braverman Speeding Row
Home Secretary Suella Braverman will not be investigated for a breach of the ministerial code following accusations that she sought advice to arrange a private speed awareness course from Home Office officials and an aide after being caught speeding. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak decided not to order a formal investigation after consulting with his adviser and concluding that the matter did not amount to a breach of the code. Braverman apologized for the distraction caused by her actions and admitted that in hindsight she would have chosen a different course of action.

Spectator USA: Behind the ludicrous travel advisories deeming Florida ‘hostile’ to minorities
Civil rights organizations, including the NAACP, LULAC, and Equality Florida, are issuing travel advisories warning travelers about the supposed dangerous environment in Florida due to Governor Ron DeSantis’s policies. The advisories suggest that Florida is becoming a “terrorist state” and they highlight issues related to racism, anti-immigrant actions, and anti-LGBTQ+ measures. However, these organizations’ efforts will not likely harm Florida’s tourism sector, which is vital to its economy, but their actions illustrate how they are serving the interests of the Democratic Party, without paying attention to the concerns of the groups they claim to represent.
Breitbart: Nolte: Major League Baseball, Budweiser, Disney, and Target Hate You
Major League Baseball, Budweiser, Disney, and Target are promoting hate and sexualizing children. The Los Angeles Dodgers invited a hate group, the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, to spread blasphemy during their Pride Night. Budweiser sponsored a man who mocks women, and Disney is grooming children to normalize being gay, transvestite, drag queen, or transsexual. Target is doing business with Satan worshippers. These corporations are abusing our trust and targeting innocent children with perversions, costing them billions.
Washington Free Beacon: LGBT Groups Pile On With Florida Travel Advisories
LGBT groups issue travel warning for Florida due to allegedly hostile laws and racial prejudice. The state's second-largest city, Miami, is one of the "gayest" cities in America, but the LGBT community reportedly faces risks associated with relocation or travel to the state. Former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has criticized the state's ultra-MAGA policies and alleged lack of safety for people of color and LGBTQ+ people. The warning comes after the NAACP issued a similar travel advisory for Florida due to reportedly "openly hostile" policies towards black people, despite contradictory data.
The Epoch Times: School Investigating Counselors for Allegedly 'Misgendering Students'
Three school counselors in Massachusetts are under investigation after claims they called students by the wrong gender pronouns. They have been accused of trying to convert LGBT students, such as by holding an adult prayer circle hoping to rid the school of a gay demon, and have been placed on administrative leave while the school investigates. The school's superintendent has promised to conduct a thorough review of the school's guidance and counseling programs in addition to a Title IX investigation.

Breitbart: Wagner Chief Warns of Russian Revolution over Ukraine War Failures
The chief of Russian mercenary group Wagner, Yevgeny Prigozhin, has warned of a potential revolution in Russia unless the war strategy in Ukraine changes. He claimed martial law could be imposed and that hundreds of thousands of people could rise up, with the potential for revolution, if the elites in Moscow continued to ignore the casualties suffered by ordinary Russians. Prigozhin also criticised the leadership of the military and warned that a complete transformation of Russia into a "war economy" was necessary to turn the war around.

Rocket Lab has purchased Virgin Orbit’s headquarters, rocket factory, and equipment for $16.1 million, while Stratolaunch Corp. bought the company’s modified Boeing 747 and Launcher Inc. purchased Virgin Orbis's launch site. The deals amount to $35.8 million and are subject to bankruptcy court approval.
The Epoch Times: Russia Extends Arrest of US Journalist Evan Gershkovich by 3 Months
The Russian court has extended the arrest of Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Gershkovich on charges of spying in a pre-trial hearing. The reporter, who was arrested in March, is being held until Aug. 30. The trial has been shrouded in secrecy with no evidence revealed to support the accusations. The US State Department called for his immediate release, calling the charges against both Gershkovich and Paul Whelan, another US citizen being held in Russia, baseless. The hearing was closed but his parents, Soviet emigres, reported that their son looked relaxed and well. U.S. Embassy officials attended the hearing, but Russian authorities denied two recent requests by the embassy to see him in prison.

The Epoch Times: Welfare Work Requirements Make Everyone Better Off
The Congressional Budget Office released new projections that show annual deficits doubling over the next ten years, reaching $2.7 trillion in 2033 and public debt increasing from 98% of GDP to 119% at the end of 2033. Republicans proposed the Limit, Save, Grow Act as a condition for increasing the debt limit, which imposes limits on growth of spending over the next 10 years, however, Democrats argue against restrictive work requirements for Medicaid, food stamps, and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families. Welfare reform in 1996 showed how Democrats and Republicans could productively work together, achieving a 60 percent decline in welfare caseloads and an increase in employment among never married mothers from 44 percent to 66 percent. The highest charitable act is to help someone become self-sufficient, and the Limit, Save, Grow Act might help achieve this, despite the opposition from Democrats.

Forbes: Premier League Club Wants To Sign Lionel Messi And Neymar: Reports
Manchester United are interested in signing former FC Barcelona players Lionel Messi and Neymar, with Messi becoming a free agent on June 30 and Neymar potentially available on loan with an option to purchase. While Barcelona are keen to bring Messi back, United are making a push to convince the World Cup winner to come to Old Trafford, backed by the deep pockets of their American owners. If United were to land both players, they would have to negotiate exorbitant wages for two players who are over 30 years old.
Forbes: Green Bay Packers Standout Kenny Clark Could Play Multiple Positions This Season
Green Bay Packers defensive lineman Kenny Clark could play multiple positions this season after losing two starting defensive ends to free agency. Clark, who's played primarily nose tackle his first seven seasons, could move outside and play more 3-technique and 5-technique. He believes he can play everywhere and could add life to his career by moving to a less demanding position. As a leader, he's helping younger players get up to speed at OTA's.
Newsbusters: Steph Curry Wins NBA's Annual Social Justice Award
Steph Curry has been named the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Social Justice Champion for 2022-23 by the NBA. The award recognizes nominees who are heavily involved in social justice causes, and Curry's involvement in several organizations that promote "gender equity" in sports and encouraging people to vote for progressive candidates earned him the award. Curry also spoke on the need to negate racism during a visit to the White House, which Abdul-Jabbar praised during an interview on Curry's win.

Field & Stream: 224 Valkyrie vs 223 Remington
The debate between the 224 Valkyrie vs 223 Remington boils down to what you want to do with your rifle. While the 223 Remington has more available factory loads and rifles, the 224 Valkyrie offers higher velocity, energy, and trajectory with heavier bullets making it a desirable option for long-range precision shooting with an AR15. However, for recreational or sport shooting, the advantage of the 223 Remington's cheaper and more widely available ammunition cannot be overlooked.

The Epoch Times: It’s Time to Rethink Your Marinade
Grilling meat before marinating it can help achieve a charred crust and prevent steaming. For the Grilled Hoisin-Scallion Marinated Skirt Steak, season the steak with salt, pepper, and sugar before searing. After grilling, poke holes in the meat and let it rest for 5 minutes. Combine soy sauce, hoisin, scallions, sugar, chili-garlic sauce, ginger, vegetable oil, and sesame oil for the marinade. Serve the sliced meat with extra sauce for dipping.
