Fox News: Special Counsel Jack Smith working to wrap up Mar-a-Lago classified records investigation: Source
Special Counsel Jack Smith is wrapping up his probe into former President Trump's alleged retention of classified records at Mar-a-Lago by completing interviews with staff and conducting numerous grand jury interviews. It's uncertain when he'll announce his findings or if he'll prosecute Trump. Smith was appointed by Attorney General Merrick Garland last November in connection with the Justice Department's investigation after the National Archives and Records Administration claimed Trump took 15 boxes of presidential records containing classified national security information to his personal residence. The matter was referred to the Justice Department by NARA.
The National Archives and Records Administration has testified that every administration since Reagan has mishandled classified materials. Smith was also appointed to investigate the Capitol riot on Jan. 6, 2021, including whether Trump or other officials interfered with the peaceful transfer of power following the 2020 presidential election, and to investigate the alleged improper retention of classified records by President Biden and Former Vice President Pence. It is not known when findings will be announced in any of these investigations.

Forbes: China Eyes New Provocations As Super Typhoon Mawar Targets Guam Bases
Super Typhoon Mawar is expected to hit Guam and neighboring islands with destructive winds of at least 150 mph, a massive storm surge, and flooding as tensions between America and China simmer across the Pacific. Guam is home to several critical military facilities and is a critical mission enabler for the U.S. military, where even minor weather disruptions can increase national security risks. Guam has historical experiences of Hurricane Pongsona in 2002 that caused over $1.18 billion in damage, igniting a fire in Guam’s gasoline storage area, and leaving the entire island without easily accessible fuel, damaging the critical medical facility, and leaving the entire island without easily accessible fuel, airbase weathering over 180 mph gusts in the storm, and leaving the entire island without easily accessible fuel.
Congress should demand that future government facilities on Guam comprise only of hardened infrastructure able to recover from strong winds and storm surge. In addition, congress should fund further resources to enhance Guam’s military and civil infrastructure, with particular attention toward improving Guam’s maritime defenses and submarine pens. America’s law enforcement and national security partners should start tracking Chinese, Russian and North Korean activities, and see if activity patterns change when weather threatens, signaling potential exploitation of the disruption through the encouragement of anti-American or anti-military sentiment; without the proper surveillance, Guam will be left to recover pretty much on its own.

Vance, former President Barack Obama, and MSNBC's Joe Scarborough. The Russian Foreign Ministry declared that "not a single hostile attack against Russia will go without a strong reaction," following the Biden administration sanctions.

Daily Wire: White House Says 14th Amendment Won’t ‘Fix The Current’ Debt Problem
The White House dismissed invoking the 14th Amendment as a solution to prevent US from defaulting on its $31tn debt crisis, indicating that Congress must act promptly. The Democrat and Republican parties disagree on how to approach debt limit negotiations and budget reforms; while the former suggests separate processes for both, the latter wants to link the debt ceiling with spending caps. Biden considered using the authority granted to him by the 14th amendment to raise the debt ceiling but expressed uncertainty regarding the approach's effectiveness and legality. There is a pressing need for Congress to reach a decision by 1 June as Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen cautioned of a catastrophic default.
