The mother of an autistic girl who was raped and murdered by an alleged MS-13 gang member is set to testify before Congress on immigration. Tammy Nobles criticized the Biden administration on border security and the vetting of immigrants. Nobles said her daughter would still be alive if the border were more secure and if people were properly vetted. She said she wants immigrants screened for crimes in their country of origin as well as in the US. The suspect has been charged with first-degree murder, rape, and robbery and is an illegal Salvadoran immigrant.

Red State: Hack Reporter Claimed DeSantis Ran From Her Questions, Then His Team Released the Video
Hack Reporter Claimed DeSantis Ran From Her Questions, Then His Team Released the Video
Reporter Tara Palmeri wrote a hit piece on Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, claiming that he ran from her hard-hitting questions. However, the released video shows that she was trolling him over his fight with Disney, not asking anything serious. Palmeri has a history of attacking DeSantis with unsubstantial claims. The media narrative that DeSantis is unable to run a campaign is contrived, and attempts to destroy him before he gets off the ground. The Trump campaign should adhere to some basic standard of consistency regarding mainstream press attacks.

The Epoch Times: Five Critical Points About America’s Speech Police
Five Critical Points About America’s Speech Police
The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) has colluded with federal agencies, lawmakers, and Big Tech to suppress opinions that diverge from its orthodoxy, on an ever-growing number of topics under the guise of national security and public health. CISA has acted as a censorship conductor, driving meetings between social media companies to censor speech disfavored by the government that regulates them, and as an architect of the broader public-private censorship regime. This effort has been integral to a broader War on Wrongthink, suppressing dissent and censoring the Wrongthinkers using our own money to silence ourselves.

Authorities have sought to shut down dissent by fomenting a moral panic over “mis-, dis-, and mal-information,” equating words critical of institutions with would-be if not actual domestic violent extremist attacks on them, and censoring the Wrongthinkers accordingly. Speech policing does not keep us safe; its aim is to keep those who do the policing safe from criticism. Neutralizing threats, not speech, is the constitutional approach, as the Constitution isn’t a suicide pact, but neither is it a mere piece of parchment to be discarded on the whims of those in power.

Youngkin's political ambitions ahead of the 2024 presidential election are being speculated, and a recent poll showed the governor's approval rating at 56%.

Hack Reporter Claims DeSantis Ran From Her Questions, Then His Team Released the Video
Reporter Tara Palmeri wrote a hit piece on Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, claiming that he ran from hard-hitting questions. However, the evidence, a video released by the governor's team, showed that Palmeri was not trying to ask anything serious, but was instead trolling DeSantis over his fight with Disney. Palmeri has a history of attacking DeSantis, while letting Biden off the hook for his lack of engagement. Team Trump also attacked DeSantis based on Palmeri's claim, which is inconsistent with their stance on fake news.

American Thinker: Agenda journalism? Check out the LA Times's gushy puff piece on Mexican gay cowboys
Agenda journalism? Check out the LA Times's gushy puff piece on Mexican gay cowboys
The Los Angeles Times wrote a gushy piece about the annual gathering of gay cowboys in Zacatecas, Mexico, painting it as a sign of Mexico's "changing" values. However, gay subcultures have existed in Latin American countries for decades, making it a non-news story. The article also attempts to impose American values onto Mexico and fails to mention the influence of cross-cultural exchange between the US and Mexico. Furthermore, many of the festival's participants are imported gay cosplay enthusiasts and not actual rural Mexican cowboys. This agenda journalism shoehorns the gay agenda into Mexican culture to promote a narrative that everyone is alike, promoting San Francisco-style gayness and its subcultures.

Girls high school track athlete's thumbs down gesture wasn't aimed at trans runner, school says
A transgender runner finished second in a girls' track race in California, drawing criticism from parents and others. The California Interscholastic Federation has a "Gender Diverse Youth Sports Inclusivity Toolkit" for inclusive participation, with rules dating back to 2013. An athlete who finished fourth and gave a thumbs down after the race was not signalling disapproval of the competitor who topped the podium, but rather commenting on her own performance, according to her school. Despite the criticism, the transgender athlete plans to compete in the state championships, which will be held next weekend.

The issue of a gas pipeline in the Greater Sunrise fields remains a point of contention between Australia and East Timor.

Fox News: Lawsuit claims major New York City hospital ignored star doctor's rampant sexual abuse of patients
Lawsuit claims major New York City hospital ignored star doctor's rampant sexual abuse of patients
Prominent New York neurologist Dr. Ricardo Cruciani has been accused of serial abuse by approximately 19 former patients who allege that Mount Sinai Beth Israel in Manhattan knew of Cruciani's behavior but turned a blind eye due to his highly-profitable practice. Cruciani was convicted of 12 criminal counts, including rape, and committed suicide in 2019. The civil lawsuit against the hospital, its parent health system and Cruciani's estate, filed under New York's Adult Survivors Act, accuses the defendants of concealing multiple complaints about Cruciani's behavior to reap substantial revenue from his patients and their insurers. The hospital has not yet commented on the allegations.

Cruciani was a renowned neurologist who overprescribed painkillers to control his patients, facilitate his assaults and trap victims, 19 former patients allege. The abuse was an open secret among his colleagues, and at least 13 patients reported it to staff members and officials at the hospital, but the hospital allegedly covered up the complaints to continue to reap substantial revenue from Cruciani's patients, the lawsuit says. The hospital is yet to issue a statement on the allegations.

Wallace is no stranger to controversy, including finding a noose hanging in his garage last year and making a bigoted swipe at another driver's Christian beliefs.
