The committee's investigation unearthed that the suspect was detained in El Salvador for involvement with MS-13, something that was not disclosed in his case file. The committee also criticized the Biden administration's open-borders policy and disregard for the safety of Americans.

Despite illegal, those desperate choose to ride La Bestia by jumping onto the side of freight cars or climbing on top of them, with potential kidnappings, murder, extortion and rape on board. To combat such atrocities, the Mexican government has implemented increased checkpoints and the private sector has tried speeding up the train to prevent migrants jumping on. However, both forces have managed to reduce ridership on La Bestia somewhat, with many choosing to use human smugglers or major highways to get to the US border instead.

The letter condemns Iran's meddling in the Middle East and Europe and calls for blacklisting the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) and holding regime officials accountable for their crimes. In addition, the letter highlights Iran's involvement in Russia's actions surrounding Ukraine, Iran's involvement in attempted terrorist attacks on European soil, its notorious execution of political prisoners in 1988, and the increasing violence against Iranians protesting against the regime.
The letter came after US lawmakers condemned Biden for not having a comprehensive strategy toward Iran and expressed bipartisan support for the Iranian people demonstrating against their government. Signatories of the letter included former British Prime Minister Liz Truss, former Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, and two former European Commission presidents, among dozens of other ex-heads of state. The letter also expressed support for the National Council of Resistance of Iran, a coalition of Iranian opposition groups, and its leader, Maryam Rajavi, who has called for democratic change.

Western-funded environmental NGOs operating in the developing world's agenda is staunchly left-wing, promotes beliefs that are contrary to the interests of economic development and the world's poorest, and subverts constitutional democracy. Greenpeace's actions in India and the Soviet Union, where it has been found to interfere in domestic affairs and act as a threat to security, suggest they could be the worst enemies of the marginalised in the third world.
