Fox News: Tim Scott takes on 'radical left' in first 2024 ad, says he's 'living proof' of American Dream
Sen. Tim Scott launches his presidential campaign with TV commercials in Iowa and New Hampshire, with an initial $6 million ad buy. The first ad highlights his background as a child of poverty who rose to be a candidate for president of the United States using patriotism, not pity. Scott plans to bring an optimistic, positive message anchored in conservatism. He's known as a ferocious fundraiser, which can give him a head start in the Republican nomination race. He will campaign in Iowa and New Hampshire this week.
Breitbart: Jim Jordan: We Have to Exercise the Power of the Purse to Limit the FBI
Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) has stated that Republicans should use the power of the purse to limit what the FBI can do in the wake of Special Counsel John Durham’s report. The House Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government Subcommittee, which Jordan chairs, has released a report on the origins of a statement signed by 51 former intelligence officials falsely claiming that the New York Post‘s Hunter Biden’s laptop story was Russian disinformation. The committee also called in former CIA Director John Brennan and former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper to testify about their involvement in the statement.
The Epoch Times: Biden's Age 'An Issue,' Says Hillary Clinton: 'People Have Every Right to Consider It'
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has expressed concerns about President Joe Biden's age affecting his leadership, acknowledging that people have a right to consider it. This comes after Biden stumbled on a set of stairs at the G7 summit in Japan. However, Clinton also credited Biden for his accomplishments and hopes he can win again in 2024. Biden is already the oldest man ever to assume the executive office, and if he wins reelection and serves out the full term, he will be 86 years old by the end of that term in January of 2029.
Townhall: Is Glenn Youngkin Reconsidering a 2024 Bid for President?
Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin is reportedly reconsidering a bid for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, according to sources cited by Axios. The sources suggested that some Republican donors are concerned about the rising profile of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and are encouraging Youngkin to enter the fray as a potential third option alongside DeSantis and former President Donald Trump. While Youngkin has so far shown little interest in running for president, he is seen as a leading prospect for future Republican campaigns due to his conservative and Christian beliefs.
However, Youngkin is not expected to make any moves until after the November elections in Virginia, where he is focusing on bolstering GOP power. If the elections go well for his party, it could provide the impetus for his presidential bid. Youngkin’s recent tweet about ushering in a “new era of American values” has also added to speculation about his intentions. The governor is currently enjoying high approval ratings in Virginia, making him a potentially strong contender for the Republican nomination.
Flag And Cross: Tim Scott Responds to 'The View's' Racially Charged Attack by Pointing Out 'Funny Thing' About One of the Hosts
Republican presidential candidate Sen. Tim Scott of South Carolina faced criticism from hosts on "The View" for not adhering to their standards for black political figures. Scott announced his candidacy for the White House, saying he was "living proof that America is the land of opportunity and not a land of oppression." He believes in American evolution and that liberalism has failed the country. Scott said, "What's in the way of providing a child with a better education and a better future? The radical left."
The New American: Biden's Running Out of Ukraine Money? Good. - The New American
President Biden's Ukraine project, funded with $100 billion authorized by Congress, is quickly heading towards failure with the establishment of Russian control in the key city of Bakhmut. Despite America's economic crisis, the Biden Administration will still attempt to extort more money for the project. Congress is likely to throw more money down the drain in their support for the corrupt Ukraine project, but a principled multipolar minority may overtake the corrupt majority with the support of the American people.
The US neocons' ambition for Russia regime change in Ukraine will be yet another foreign policy disaster in American history. Many have been killed on both sides in the service of this mission. The Biden Administration's profligate domestic spending and endless spending on 'Project Ukraine' is a battleground for Republican lawmakers. However, the emerging progressive/conservative alliance in Congress, that has had enough, shows that a dedicated minority driven by liberty principles can produce incredible results. Americans need to turn against neocons after this disaster.

All shows on DailyWire+ will now stream on Twitter, which Boreing regards as "the largest free speech platform in the world". Further content could also appear on the platform if certain conditions are met.
The Federalist Papers: Lawyers: Another IRS Whistleblower Comes Forward in Hunter Biden Tax Evasion Investigation
Lawyers for an IRS whistleblower revealed that another agent raised concerns about possible misconduct in the tax evasion investigation into Hunter Biden. In a letter to key congressional committee heads, the lawyers stated that the Department of Justice initiated the removal of the investigative team, which was labeled as “clearly retaliatory.” The lawyers also criticized the committees for being unwilling to negotiate a voluntary interview at which all parties could participate.
Washington Free Beacon: E. Jean Carroll Sues Trump Again Over CNN Town Hall
E. Jean Carroll is seeking at least $10 million in additional damages in her defamation lawsuit against Donald Trump, citing his recent comments on CNN. A federal jury in Manhattan found Trump liable for sexually abusing Carroll in the 1990s and then lying about it, and ordered him to pay her $5 million in damages. Carroll's lawyers argue that Trump's recent comments show his malice and support a substantial punitive damages award. Trump's lawyers did not immediately comment. Carroll's original lawsuit has been bogged down in appeals over whether Trump was immune from being sued because he had been president when he spoke.

Fox News: Superhumans! Wounded Ukrainians walking back to victory with the help of new rehab center
Denys Kryvenko, a soldier who lost both legs and his left wrist in Russia's invasion of Ukraine, is one of the first patients undergoing rehabilitation at the newly established Superhumans Medical Center in Lviv. The center aims to provide Ukraine's first venue for reconstruction surgeries and provides prosthetics and rehabilitation services, reducing the need for patients to travel to Europe or the US. Patients must meet criteria and have amputations done properly so that prosthetics can be fitted correctly and rehabilitation can begin. According to Superhuman's data, around 15,000 individuals in Ukraine are in need of prosthetics due to the ongoing invasion.
Ukraine anticipates that the number of its war veterans will grow up to 5 million people compared to the half a million registered veterans it had prior to the Feb. 24 invasion. The background of those fighting has also changed, with people from all walks of life now joining the army. Unlike previous wars, the demographics of patients being treated in facilities like Superhumans is totally random, with a 14-year-old boy who was injured while walking home in Kherson and an 18-year-old girl from Odesa, who was a medic volunteer, among the list of patients undergoing rehabilitation.

National Review: The Corner: Iran Builds an Underground and Possibly Unreachable Nuclear Facility
A new underground Iranian nuclear facility being built near the Zagros Mountains in central Iran is too deep underground to be destroyed by US airstrikes. Experts and satellite imagery analyzed by the Associated Press reveal that tunnels have been dug in the vicinity of the site, making it impervious to bunker busters, last-ditch weapons designed to destroy underground sites. Israel's national-security adviser has warned Iran "the price you will pay as a regime and as a country is one you wouldn't want to pay, so be careful," while American leaders remain divided on how to prevent Iranian nuclear proliferation.
The Epoch Times: US Not Considering Lifting Sanctions on China’s Defense Minister: Official

The appointment of Li as Defence Minister in March has raised concerns over the potential for complications in bilateral military talks between the US and China.

The Epoch Times: Why the Debate Over the Debt Ceiling Is Critical
The U.S. government is currently engaged in a high-stakes game of chicken over whether to raise the debt ceiling. The administration and Democrat leadership want to raise it without questions, while the GOP insists on spending cuts. Debt and deficit levels are at unprecedented levels and may lead to an inflationary crisis, economic slowdown, and mass layoffs. Congressional leadership must hold the line and cut spending.
The Epoch Times: Lifting the Debt Ceiling Is Not a Social Policy
The United States' debt ceiling has been raised 78 times since 1960, causing little concern in the markets. However, with debt to GDP now at 123.4 percent and mandatory spending taking up 63 percent of the budget, the debt problem is unsustainable. Even with record revenues, projections for fiscal year 2023 estimate a $1 trillion deficit, making it impossible to cut the budget deficit to zero with higher taxes and revenue measures. The United States' solvency and confidence are under question globally, putting the U.S. dollar and the safety of the national debt at risk. It is time for Congress to act and curb spending before the debt ticking bomb explodes.

Rep. Steve Cohen (D-TN) argues that the US doesn't need to reduce spending, but rather needs to increase it. According to Cohen, this additional revenue will help those in poverty, provide better education for all, and increase the minimum wage.
Daily Wire: Another Top Crypto Firm Commingled Funds Like Sam Bankman-Fried’s FTX Did, Former Insiders Allege
Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange platform, has been accused by three former insiders of allegedly commingling user deposits and firm revenue in violation of financial laws. The sources claim that Binance commingled funds on a nearly daily basis in 2020 and 2021. The allegations come two months after officials at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission filed civil enforcement actions against Binance chief executive Changpeng Zhao for "numerous violations" of financial laws. The regulatory agency alleged that Zhao directed employees and customers to circumvent regulations, failed to require identity verification, and neglected other compliance efforts meant to prevent terrorist financing and money laundering.

Fox News: Claims backlog at VA will double to 400k as workers face increased risk of burnout: report
The Department of Veterans Affairs warns that the backlog of claims could double over the next year, reaching "potentially up to 400,000." The increase of claims is due to the PACT Act, which aims to improve care for veterans exposed to toxic material. The influx could force the VA to balance quickly processing claims while attempting to avoid burning out its workforce.
The VA has seen a 30% increase in claims since the new legislation was passed last year. The department is continuing its outreach to eligible veterans and hoping to reduce the backlog from possibly 400,000 to around 100,000 by 2025. The VA is currently processing claims faster than expected, delivering 1.7 million decisions in fiscal year 2022 and is processing claims 15% faster in 2023.
