The Blaze: Michigan Gov. Whitmer ratifies gun-grab law whereby petitioners can have citizens' Second Amendment rights voided and their firearms seized
Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer signed into law Democratic gun-grab bill SB 83, allowing family members, cops, quacks, roommates, and others to petition to void another citizen's Second Amendment rights if they can persuade a judge it could prevent future harm. The likelihood of a petition being granted is increased if the target has a criminal history, has abused alcohol or drugs, or has previously made threats, although the law leaves it open to the court to determine what other factors might be relevant. The NRA suggested that the law "relegates the Second Amendment to a second-class right and lacks sufficient due process protections". Some local sheriffs have vowed not to enforce this particular law, including Livingston County Sheriff Michael Murphy, citing constitutional concerns.
Breitbart: Gingrich: Default Will End Biden's 2024 Presidential Campaign
Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich praised House Speaker Kevin McCarthy's approach to debt ceiling negotiations with President Biden, urging him to stay the course and pass the bill while standing firm. Gingrich believes that if the US government defaults on its debt, it will be remembered as the Biden default, ultimately ending his 2024 reelection bid. While he acknowledges that it won't be 100% of what was passed out of the House, he feels good after today's meeting and believes they are moving in the right direction.
Fox News: Dem activist fresh from spring break in Florida goes further than NAACP: 'Terrorist state'
Democratic activist Aisha C. Mills, who praised the NAACP’s travel advisory against Florida, visited the state for spring break. The advisory argues Florida is openly hostile to African Americans, people of colour and LGBTQ+ individuals and was in direct response to Governor Ron DeSantis' aggressive attempts to erase Black history. Mills disregarded the advisory to holiday in the state but praised the NAACP's decision, arguing it highlights America's problem with bigotry and bias (, ).
Fox News: Arizona Gov. Katie Hobbs vetoes bill banning use of names, pronouns trans students identify by
Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs has vetoed a bill that would have banned schools from referring to transgender students by their preferred names and pronouns. The Republican-sponsored bill would have allowed schools to call students by their preferred identities only with parental permission. Hobbs said that the legislation was an attack on transgender children and that lawmakers should be working to create a state where everyone can be who they are without fear of harassment or judgment. This is the latest example of the transgender rights debate playing out in GOP-majority state legislatures. Last year, Arizona's then-governor signed a law banning transgender girls from participating in school sports.
The Epoch Times: Political and Environmental Restrictions Could Drive Housing Supply to New Lows: Report
Natural England rules regarding nutrient neutrality for development projects could cause a drop of up to 122,000 homes in net housing supply per year, warns the Home Builders Federation. Nutrient neutrality aims to limit the amount of nitrates entering water systems from developments. The number of approved housing projects in England during Q4 2022 was down 12% YoY. This is partly attributed to Natural England's limiting policies, restrictions, and a lack of support for national housebuilding targets from Tory party members. However, there is also criticism that farming practices and the Victorian sewage system contribute to water pollution more than housebuilding.
The New American: Covid Hospital Disclaims Responsibility in Teen’s Death; Blames Family - The New American
Scott Schara files a lawsuit against healthcare workers and facility who he believes are responsible for the death of his daughter due to COVID-19 in April 2021. Healthcare provider, Ascension Health denies responsibility and insinuates that Grace or Scott could be responsible for her death. Wisconsin Democrat U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin accused Ascension of advancing its investment activities and providing compensation to its executives while squeezing healthcare providers' staff and closing facilities for dubious management fees. Ascension has not countersued Scott for defamation despite his public campaign to air Grace’s story.
Fox News: Biden energy official rejects GOP hearing invite as admin pulls grant from Chinese-linked company
House Republicans plan to "empty chair" Biden's top official in the Department of Energy's Office of Manufacturing and Energy Supply Chains at a House Energy and Commerce Committee hearing on Tuesday. David Howell rejected an invitation to testify, causing concern over Chinese involvement with awards, after the DOE pulled a $200 million grant to Microvast, the Texas-based maker of technology for electric vehicle batteries with deep ties to China. The DOE previously announced in October that Microvast would receive a portion of the nearly $3 billion appropriated through the 2021 infrastructure bill for a program designed to boost US battery manufacturing.
The Blaze: Hillary Clinton makes admission about Biden's age that Democrats would rather ignore: 'Every right to consider it'
Hillary Clinton admits that Joe Biden's age is a legitimate concern for Americans, following his recent stumble on the stairs. Despite this, Clinton believes that Biden has a strong policy record and should be re-elected. As the oldest president in U.S. history, Biden's age and mental acuity will become a key issue in the campaign, with many Republicans doubting his fitness for the presidency.

The Epoch Times: Tow Truck Operators Implore Drivers to Keep Emergency Workers Safe on the Road
Tow truck operators gathered at the Pennsylvania Capitol to remind the public about recent laws enacted to protect those working on the side of the road. The Move Over Law, which took effect in 2021, imposes steeper penalties for drivers who do not slow down or move over when approaching an emergency response area. Tow truck operators are also now allowed to use blue lights on their trucks as they were found to be more effective at gaining drivers' attention. Pennsylvania intends to bolster its Move Over Law by introducing signage to highways which will show a photograph of someone who has died to remind drivers that roadside safety is personal.

American Thinker: Bombing a Jewish kindergarten isn't 'retaliatory'
The Washington Post downplayed Hamas's rocket attack on Israel, describing it as "only 620" rockets instead of condemning terrorism. They also portrayed Israel as the aggressor in response to the attacks, ignoring the cause of the conflict. The paper incriminated Israel's counterattack, even though the rocket fire hit children in kindergartens and playgrounds.
Fox News: European Union welcomes US decision to greenlight F-16 training for Ukrainian pilots
The US has given its green light to Ukrainian pilots to receive training to fly F-16s, which the EU's foreign policy chief believes will inevitably bring the fighter jets to the Ukrainian battlefield. NATO has confirmed that the training decision is the exact thrust necessary to make the jets available to Ukraine. Despite no decision on actually delivering fighter jets being taken yet, training pilots will help speed up battle readiness once a formal decision is made. The Biden administration has made a sharp reversal after refusing to approve any transfer of the aircraft or conduct training for more than a year because of worries that it could escalate tensions with Russia.

Forbes: Making Synthetic Jet Fuel Near the Front Lines Is an Idea That Remains Worth Drinking To
AIR COMPANY is producing synthetic aviation fuel (SAF) from carbon dioxide, hydrogen, and electricity in a single-step reactor process that may offer a more cost-efficient and readily available fuel for aviation use. The U.S. Air Force awarding AIRMADE SAF a $65m contract to produce SAF without the need for the syngas-Fischer Tropsch methods make it the latest in a series of partnerships exploring technology that can convert CO2 into aviation fuel. Currently, AIR COMPANY's technology is being tested at larger bases in the hopes of eventually taking the production system fully mobile.
The Pentagon’s Defense Innovation Unit's Synthetic Fuels for the Contested Environment aims to explore a new chemical process that combines CO2 and hydrogen in a single-step reactor system, which boosts AIR COMPANY's potential as a commercial market for transportation applications. The company is one of many startups aiming to reduce the carbon footprint of aviation fuels by producing goods by capturing emissions directly from sources such as power stations and natural gas. Carbon options can reduce the AF's reliance on commercial supply chains, provide energy independence and reduce operational costs.

During his speech, Graham commented on data protection, calling out Amazon, and saying, “They want us to shut our mouths. They don’t want to hear from us.” He reminded the Christian media landscape of the importance of remaining faithful to the historic truths of scripture amid the coming storms, and of Jesus’ followers’ fear in Matthew 8: 23-27 when they feared for their lives as they experienced wind and waves. Graham also talked about the LGBTQ agenda leading the charge culturally, and emphasized the importance of not wavering or apologizing for the gospel.

Fox News: Passkeys vs. Password Managers: why you shouldn't ditch your password manager just yet
Passkeys are a new way of signing in to apps and websites that removes the need to remember passwords by using a biometric sensor or PIN. However, not all websites accept passkeys yet, so it's still best to use a password manager for now. A good password manager should deploy secure works seamlessly across all devices, create unique passwords for every account, allow a failsafe in case the primary password is forgotten, and use two-factor authentication security. Additionally, to protect oneself, one should install antivirus software, turn on 2-factor authentication, and keep software and operating systems updated.
