The Blaze: Former Anheuser-Busch figure predicts 'a long, hot, dry summer' for the beer company
Former Anheuser-Busch figure predicts 'a long, hot, dry summer' for the beer company
Anson Frericks predicts Bud Light's sales slump will continue unless it avoids political issues. Bud Light lost customers when it featured transgender figure Dylan Mulvaney in its promotions. Frericks suggests that Anheuser-Busch has an easy way to get its customers back: steer clear of political issues. Otherwise, the company is likely to face a worse position and declining sales. Both supporters and opponents of gender ideology have criticized Anheuser-Busch's response to the backlash.

Former President Trump, however, has been spending hours attacking DeSantis on social media and his Super PAC is using an unprecedented amount of money to attack DeSantis rather than Joe Biden. Despite this, DeSantis has made legislative wins in Florida and has been dubbed one of America's most aggressive and accomplished conservative governors.

Front Page Magazine: Unassisted Suicide
Unassisted Suicide
The president of the Vatican’s Pontifical Academy for Life, Cardinal Vincenzo Paglia, announced that the Catholic Church will accept laws supporting assisted suicide for those considered to have an incurable pathology or intolerable pain to facilitate the “greatest common good”. This contradicts Catholic teachings which call euthanasia “murder” and preclude assisted suicide, even if a patient requests it. Paglia’s comments sparked immediate criticism, with the John Paul II Academy for Human Life and Family calling for his resignation. The Cardinal’s remarks have been seen as part of Pope Francis’ tactics to expedite doctrinal change and remold the Catholic Church into an ally of secularist, materialist, globalist utopians.

Bud Light Disaster So Bad It's Now Buying Back Its Own Beer After Mulvaney Fiasco: Report
Bud Light is struggling as sales drop, and it has to buy back unsold and expired product due to its partnership with a transgender TikTok activist. The left-wing groups are also mad at Bud Light for its long series of missteps. The CEO of AB InBev still supports radical gay and transgender groups, and they will continue supporting organizations with decades-long relationships, including LGBT rights groups. This has resulted in an unusual boycott that may have a cultural outcome, avoiding even holding a can of Bud Light due to the negative reputation.

Texans Could Face Power Outages This Summer As Heat Waves Test Electrical Grid
Texas's power grid will be put to test due to population growth and extreme heatwaves. ERCOT forecasted a new record peak demand of 82,739 MW this summer, which will require more renewable energy sources such as solar and wind generation. Unfortunately, ERCOT's on-demand dispatchable power supply has increased only 1.5% from 2008 to 2022 despite Texas's population growth of 24% in the same time frame. To cope with the situation, ERCOT will depend on wind power and renewable resources.

Oakland A's New Stadium Agreement in Las Vegas Besieged by Curveballs
Nevada lawmakers won't finance more than $175 million of the $395 million needed for the Oakland A's new baseball stadium in Las Vegas. Clark County is reluctant to bond the remaining funds in case the bond repayments drain its emergency reserve funds. Governor Joe Lombardo has said his support depends on a plan that doesn't result in new or higher taxation. The A's are struggling in their current season and hoping to leave Oakland.
