Red State: NEW: Second IRS Hunter Biden Whistleblower Comes Forward, Gets Threatened With Criminal Prosecution
NEW: Second IRS Hunter Biden Whistleblower Comes Forward, Gets Threatened With Criminal Prosecution
A second IRS whistleblower, an agent working under the first, has come forward with allegations of political intervention in the Hunter Biden case, which involves tax fraud and failure to file taxes. However, attempts to reach out to IRS leadership were met with hostility and threats of criminal prosecution. This comes after the entire investigative team overseeing the case was removed reportedly at the request of DOJ, leaving many with the impression of a cover-up. Unfortunately, the DOJ and IRS continue to act with sheer hubris, threatening whistleblowers despite the knowledge of their attempts being made public.

Whoopi Goldberg: Tim Scott Used 'Dog Whistle,' Has 'Clarence Thomas Syndrome'
Whoopi Goldberg criticizes Sen. Tim Scott's announcement of a 2024 presidential bid, stating that he used a racist dog whistle and has "Clarence Thomas Syndrome," implying that he ignores systemic racism. Goldberg believes that Scott needs to do more than just talk about personal responsibility and address systemic racism in his platform. Sunny Hostin also suggests that Scott is the exception and not the rule, and until this changes, he cannot ignore systemic racism.

The Federalist Papers: Target Takes Wokeness a Step Further - Now Company Is Also Accused of Pushing 'Satanic' Gear
Target Takes Wokeness a Step Further - Now Company Is Also Accused of Pushing 'Satanic' Gear
Retail giant Target faces backlash for selling LGBT apparel that appears to have satanic undertones. Conservative podcaster Josh Daws shared a screenshot of the “Bible Girl 666” t-shirt, named after a transgender social media influencer, and called for a boycott. The shirt’s association of the Bible with transgenderism and the mark of the beast was described as a "blasphemous choice" for the company. Additionally, one of Target's designers, who was promoting a satanic message on social media, was part of Target's merchandise production. The designer's Instagram account was showing off pins that read "Satan respects pronouns" and "Trans witches for abortion."

The Epoch Times: Stock Market Today: Wall Street Ends Mixed Ahead of Talks to Avoid US Default
Stock Market Today: Wall Street Ends Mixed Ahead of Talks to Avoid US Default
Wall Street ended mixed as investors awaited the outcome of talks between President Joe Biden and Congress on the U.S. government’s debt limit. Fears of a possible default continue to weigh heavily, with economists warning of an economic recession resulting from the collapse of Treasuries. The S&P 500 and Nasdaq hovered close to record highs, while the Dow Jones managed to hold onto some gains after slipping 140.05 points during trading. An escalating trade war between China and the U.S. put further pressure on markets, with Micron Technology falling 2.8 percent on concerns over the security of its products.

Regional banks have also become a cause for concern following three high-profile failures since March, sparking a search for the next vulnerable lender. One possible candidate is PacWest Bancorp, which saw a 19.5% boost to its shares after it agreed to sell a portfolio of real estate construction loans. Wall Street has also become increasingly top-heavy, with market watchers worried that the extreme dependence on a few companies could lead to a shift in performance. Morgan Stanley’s Michael Wilson led calls for a bear market amid forecasting a deep earnings recession, while Bank of America’s Savita Subramanian remains optimistic, raising her year-end target for the S&P 500 to 4,300 from 4,000.

The New American: DOE Mobile-home Rule Won’t Save Planet, Will Make Housing More Expensive - The New American
DOE Mobile-home Rule Won’t Save Planet, Will Make Housing More Expensive - The New American
The new DOE rule requires mobile homes to be more energy-efficient to reduce carbon emissions, but it will drive up the cost of housing, making it unaffordable for low-income households. The DOE claims that the rule will save Americans residing in mobile homes up to $475 per year on their utility bills, but the benefits do not outweigh the burdens for low-income families and minorities, who will be priced out of the housing market. The DOE rule looks like it was designed to force more low-income consumers into rentals, and it may encourage people to stay in older, cheaper homes lacking modern safety and efficiency features.

The Epoch Times: COVID Vaccine-Injured Sue Biden Administration Over Censorship
COVID Vaccine-Injured Sue Biden Administration Over Censorship
Five people with confirmed COVID-19 vaccine injuries and one whose son died, have filed a lawsuit against President Biden and his administration, accusing them of violating free speech and peaceful assembly when they pressured Big Tech to censor content the government deemed “misinformation” related to vaccine injuries. The lawsuit seeks to hold the federal government responsible for COVID-19 vaccine injuries and to have the courts stop federal censorship and suppression of free speech related to adverse reactions to the vaccine. COVID-19 vaccine manufacturers are immune from litigation due to the Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness Act declaration. Covid-19 vaccine injuries are often censored on social media sites such as Twitter and Instagram, with groups dedicated to people with confirmed vaccine injuries being removed from Facebook. The censorship has sparked feelings of helplessness and even suicide among those suffering from vaccine injuries. The plaintiffs are seeking a ruling that the defendants violated the U.S. Constitution’s First Amendment.

However, multiple sheriffs in the state have voiced opposition to the law and declared their refusal to enforce it. Former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords, an advocate for gun safety since surviving a gunshot wound in 2011, was present at the bill signing ceremony.

Mexico's Popocatepetl Volcano Spewing Ash and Gas Closes Schools
El Popo, a volcano near Mexico City, has been increasingly explosive for over a week. The Mexican government has raised the warning level and closed schools in several municipalities across three states. Local, state and federal officials held drills. There were no signs of panic but people worried about the possibility of having to evacuate and leaving homes and animals unattended. The Defense Department said it was ready to activate 6,500 troops if necessary.
