Governor DeSantis's policies to protect children from inappropriate topics in school were labeled as a "conservative crackdown" and portrayed negatively.

Scott also proposed police reforms following the murder of George Floyd, but his bill was filibustered by Democrats. Fox News: Scary Indy 500 practice crash sends driver to hospital
Stefan Wilson and Katherine Legge crashed during practice for Indy 500, with Legge suffering a serious injury. The incident occurred in Turns 1 and 2 as the entire field seemed to slow down. Legge hit the back of Wilson's car, and both drivers hit the wall. Wilson has a fractured vertebrae and will not be allowed to compete, but he is "in good spirits". Legge's car will be repaired in time for Carb Day on Friday. Wilson's brother Justin was killed in 2015 when a piece of a car from another driver hit his helmet and sent him into a wall.
