The attack cost Russians at least five pieces of heavy equipment and up to 40 troops. The heavy losses are significantly degrading Russian forces, which is an excellent sign for Ukrainians because the main objective of their defensive operation is to exhaust Russian forces in the area.

NSW Labor government plans new stamp duty exemption scheme for first-home buyers, replacing the expiring First Home Buyer Choice program under former Coalition government, in effort to simplify the tax system and benefit majority of first-home buyers. The new scheme will increase threshold for stamp duty exemptions for first-home buyers from $650,000 to $800,000 and raise stamp duty concession threshold from $800,000 to $1 million. Those buying homes worth above $1 million and lower than $1.5 million appear to be among the biggest losers, raising concerns about the legislation passing with only Labor party's minority in both houses.

Two men have been arrested after a road rage incident in St-Eustache, Quebec. The driver of an SUV intentionally struck a three-wheeled motorcycle, injuring two riders. He was arrested for dangerous driving causing bodily harm and assault with a weapon. A second man in another SUV was also arrested for dangerous driving. The victims were hospitalized but are not believed to be in danger.
