An Internal Revenue Service (IRS) investigator says agency officials have been ignoring claims that the Justice Department has mishandled the criminal probe into Hunter Biden. The whistleblower disclosed that their direct IRS superiors ignored efforts to bring forward "issues" related to the investigation being corrupted by lies and politics. Lawyers representing the IRS supervisor attached the subordinate’s email in a weekend transmission to IRS Commissioner Danny Werfel. Their message warns about actions that “chill the disclosures of other IRS whistleblowers who may wish to come forward."

The Republican legislature is negotiating a state budget deal for the next two years, and Cooper’s declaration won’t stop them. Republicans say meaningless publicity stunts won't improve education outcomes in North Carolina.
