American Thinker: Media trashes Supreme Court, then conducts poll to show it
Media trashes Supreme Court, then conducts poll to show it
The media's propaganda against the Supreme Court has led to a loss of confidence in the institution following the Dobbs decision on abortion. Democrats have lied about the Constitution and legislative processes, while misleading the public with terms like "abortion bans" and "reproductive choices". The media's lies extend to attacks on Justice Clarence Thomas and efforts to push for radical leftist policies, regardless of the damage they may cause.

Fox News: Durham report shows it was Clinton, not Trump, who colluded with Russians: Victor Davis Hanson
Durham report shows it was Clinton, not Trump, who colluded with Russians: Victor Davis Hanson
Historian and fellow at Stanford University's Hoover Institution, Victor Davis Hanson claims that the Durham report suggests there were more questions regarding Hillary Clinton's Russian overtures than former President Donald Trump's. Hanson said he analyzed the findings of the report, which showed that Clinton was using a Moscow-based "source", PR executive Charles Dolan Jr., to collect purported intelligence on Trump. Durham's findings suggest there was a Hillary-Clinton–Russian connection, rather than a Trump-Russian connection.

Hanson also said that the purported "pee tape", which was claimed to show prostitutes urinating on a Moscow hotel bed at the behest of Trump, was "all made up", and worse yet, the FBI knew it was made up. The reason the feds didn't probe Clinton as they did Trump, he surmised, was because they were certain she was soon to be elected president, and they feared that anyone who would concoct such a conspiracy might do the same to them if she was in the White House. The report is damning to the FBI, Hillary Clinton’s campaign, and the media, as it shows that Hillary Clinton colluded with the Russian government through intermediaries, and the FBI knew about it and blamed Donald Trump, who was innocent of it.

American Thinker: Oh, please don't stay by me, Dianne
Oh, please don't stay by me, Dianne
The Democrats face a problem with Senator Feinstein. Her resignation would open the way for Governor Newsom to appoint a new person, but Feinstein seems determined to return to the Senate. Expelling her is an unlikely and rare option, given her history as a groundbreaking lawmaker and her support in the caucus. The situation has caused divided opinions among Democrats.

Fox News: No evidence supporting claim that New York hotels kicked out veterans to make room for migrants
No evidence supporting claim that New York hotels kicked out veterans to make room for migrants
Reports claiming veterans were booted from New York hotels to make room for migrants have been debunked, with no evidence found to support the claims. Although homeless veterans were reportedly moved to make room for migrants being transported as part of a recent border surge, Orange County Assemblyman Brian Maher and all of the hotels accused of evicting veterans denied the claims made by Yerik Israel Toney CEO Sharon Toney-Finch. Maher ultimately concluded that Toney-Finch was lying and admitted to making up the story. There is an ongoing call for the New York attorney general to investigate the false claims.

Foreign Policy: Russia’s Frighteningly Fascist Youth
Russia’s Frighteningly Fascist Youth
Young Russians, like 19-year-old Alina from Nizhny Tagil, have become addicted to the world of Russia's war against Ukraine, and are participating in a public display of hatred and warmongering on the Russian-language internet, where new "truths" about alleged Ukrainian depravities are uncovered every day and conspiracies about Russia being under constant threat from shadowy U.S. and NATO forces abound. For these young people, who are rapidly losing interest in Western movies and TV, a sacred Russia is surrounded by enemies bent on its total obliteration, and the thirst for the world of Russia's war against Ukraine seems unquenchable. Thousands of Russians are today publicly performing aggressive nationalist language, sharing conspiratorial memes, and demonstrating support for Russia's war in Ukraine with zeal, which has turned Russia in 2022 into a place where an array of ahistorical and quasi-religious thinking, imagery, and myths support a total militarization of the state, the reconquest of a lost empire, and a mission to wipe out a racial enemy - the Ukrainian people .

National Review: Let Consumer Sovereignty Reign
Let Consumer Sovereignty Reign
The American Right is divided over the role of production and consumption in economics. Some align with Adam Smith's principle that the sole aim of production is to satisfy consumer needs, whilst others prioritise production and seek state intervention to bolster businesses and create jobs. A mistaken conception of consumption is at the heart of the division with hedonistic materialism conflated with the concept. The reality is that consumers value different things, and producers must subordinate themselves to consumers to create value and economic growth. Producer sovereignty logic would lead to businesses producing things people don't want, and the dysfunctions arising from this would be severe on a national scale. Economies in which producers meet consumer preferences without top-down planning coordinate both parties' self-interest without crony capitalism. Policies that prioritise production over consumers risk making American businesses uncompetitive, disinclined to innovate and thus lead to economic stagnation. Ultimately, the dead-end of producer sovereignty lies in economic and social mediocrity.

National Review: Artistic Transgression Has Become So Very Boring
Artistic Transgression Has Become So Very Boring
An exhibition in the European Parliament featuring photos of Jesus surrounded by homosexual and transgender apostles dressed in sadomasochist gear is a tedious attempt at transgression, according to this op-ed. Swedish artist Elisabeth Ohlson created the exhibition, called Ecce Homo, and has spent 25 years recreating religious scenes with homosexual content. The author suggests that to produce something truly transgressive today, artists should aim for a return to beauty in art.

FC Barcelona Have ‘Yes’ From Manchester City Star, Despite English Reports
Manchester City captain Ilkay Gundogan may still join FC Barcelona this summer, according to Spanish publications AS and SPORT, despite reports that he is "edging towards committing his future" to City. While City are believed to have offered Gundogan €10 million ($10.8 million) for the next two years, Barca reportedly has a "verbal agreement" with the German midfielder and can offer him a platform to play in the elite for at least three seasons if he were to sign with them. Furthermore, if Barca were to gain extra cash, they would like to also land Gundogan's midfielder partner Bernardo Silva.

Generative AI That’s Based On The Murky Devious Dark Web Might Ironically Be The Best Thing Ever, Says AI Ethics And AI Law
Using generative AI, such as ChatGPT and GPT-4, to scan data across the internet and pattern-match human language has become successful by leveraging clean-up and filtering via RLHF. Instead of scanning conventional sites such as Wikipedia, some have proposed training generative AI on the Dark Web's darker side. Proponents argue this could be useful for finding and stopping evildoers, interpreting specialized languages, and identifying endangering trends. However, others believe training AI on the Dark Web's villainous content could lead to negative consequences, such as putting innocent people at risk, creating an AI system of an evil nature, and criminal cyber hackers receiving tips on how to overcome cybersecurity precautions.
