The Federalist: Tim Keller Leaves A Profound Legacy Worthy Of High Praise And Fair Critique
Tim Keller Leaves A Profound Legacy Worthy Of High Praise And Fair Critique
The passing of Tim Keller, a well-known Protestant Christian figure, has led to warm eulogies and respectful appreciation for his contributions to evangelism and church-planting. However, some people have criticized his political and theological views, and his "third-way" approach to evangelism. Despite this, it is impossible to deny the combinatorial explosion of gospel influence that followed Keller's ministry, reaching countless souls and defining a generation of evangelism. While Keller was a flawed and sometimes misguided thinker, he was a faithful man who loved his family and friends, lived without scandal, and faced death with a calm courage, looking forward to seeing Jesus.

The Economist: With Hollywood on strike, foreign shows enjoy the limelight
With Hollywood on strike, foreign shows enjoy the limelight
British film and TV production has been booming, with the country hosting high-profile productions by American studios looking for tax breaks and facilities. However, with the current writers’ strike halting new scripted productions in Hollywood, even shows already being made in the UK may need finalised scripts to carry on filming. Furthermore, new deals are “off-limits” to those who work under the Writers Guild of America, with recommendations made by the Writers’ Guild of Great Britain that local writers avoid American studios during the strike or risk being blacklisted. Any freeze and production costs stand to fall, however, as the American studios’ demand for facilities reduces, and locally made shows may even command a higher price internationally, as American streamers run out of new content.

Fox News: This Christian college that attributes its soaring enrollment to free speech has a checkered past
This Christian college that attributes its soaring enrollment to free speech has a checkered past
Arizona's Grand Canyon University, which has tripled its enrollment over the past decade, has attributed its growth in part to its commitment to free speech, although it initially prevented conservative commentator Ben Shapiro from speaking there a few years back. GCU President Brian Mueller said the college is serious about honoring free speech, although in 2019 the school faced backlash after initially barring Shapiro from speaking on campus to avoid divisiveness following student concerns. The college later invited Shapiro to speak as it continued to battle with the national wing of the Young America's Foundation, and he eventually spoke there later that spring, despite concerns of offending its DACA students due to Shapiro's strict views on immigration.
